I think she own's up to making mistakes over the last 5 years,  and still trying to pay off Munto.

Didn't see any indication that she is incompetent in her abilities to lead the Club forward. As for the Transfer Panel, Perhaps this is the Best way forward, Because the other 5--6 Managers couldn't find the right player to take the club to the next level. I'm also glad that we will be focusing on youth, but also not too much.

Bout time we gave a bit of support if you ask me. But i'm sure people will see it totally different,  and think we're going Belly up FFS

Well Done @erindoors, I know i wouldn't like to be in your shoes.

I am very impressed by the honesty whilst never over stepping the mark. I like the directness of her responses and she is quite clearly much more competent than Jim Rodwell.

I think she is quite clear on where they believe the club should be and how that should be attained.

Love the fact that she quite openly has a go at the leeches of the game (players agents) and isn't afraid to direct the club in the direction we need to go.

All in all very impressed.

I didn't see it but if it's the same interview I heard on Radio Nottingham web site then I thought she came across very well.

There was nothing really new in the interview, but I thought she came across well. I don't know who does what behind the scenes, but she's certainly far more comfortable in front of the camera than Mr Trew.

She sounded rather non-committal about the budget, which worried me. I hope what she meant was that we wouldn't know whether we have a top 3 or a top 7 budget until the start of the season when the figures for other clubs are published.

I also got the impression that she was speaking to the journalists rather than directly addressing the fans. People are currently deciding whether to renew their season tickets on the back of a relegation. I missed a direct appeal to the fans to get behind us for the promotion push next season. We need a packed ground and everyone behind the team at the start of next season, and the club needs to start beating the drum right now.

I worry when the CE described the season as another fantastic season or words to that effect. It reminds me of a politician with their head in the sand, probably because of the UK general election. Anyway, I think the jury is out on this. I'll judge by actions and not by words.

Agreed. I was quite impressed, but not too surprised, Mrs T is articulate and reasonably confident on the PR front. It was a tad " safe" and predictable but the lack of specific detail re: finance, at this stage, isn't too worrying. The frankness and transparency was very welcome tbh.

My main bug is about the transfer panel. A. Trew says a lot about 'we' as in the transfer budget, I sincerely hope that 'we' doesn't mean the Trews have anything to do with transfer policy beyond setting the budget. The way she was speaking, that is not the case. They will have an impact.

They need to decide what they want to be, football owners, or a football manager. Football owners do not decide who signs for the first team, who the manager plays, and what tactics he plays. In my opinion, anyway.

i think she will do well, i heard the interview on the radio and she came across well.

i have no problems with anyone at the club, they all do a job and i would hope people, especially fans seize to witchhunt the trews for their mistakes. its time we focus on moving and perhaps we will with a transfer committee? judge it based on the players brought into the club.

Mrs Trew's is the target of quite a lot of abuse at the moment.

I am not remotely taking blame for me because anything said in a public space is up for discussion and I just try to get the fans side across. It explains a few things, which I think is quite sad. It's weird how people determine 'negative' and 'discussing', but hey what can you do?

Worry not @notts-joe, anyone who knows or values what you do will see the type of person you are. Don't worry about others, focus on yourself and whatever happens be mindful its got nothing to do with you.

Critics pick up on comments, its what the media do and you serve the fans well.

You weren't feeling like this yesterday @liampie.

Hope whatever it was you're felling better about it now.

I think some people need a figure to blame. With Rodders and our fantastic former management team gone, Mrs Trew is next in line. That said, I sympathise with many points on this thread.

The way our transfer targets remained the same remained the same over several managers (I'm thinking Showunmi) indicates to me that Jim Rodwell had a big part to play in our transfer policy. I'm happy to be corrected, but I don't actually think this is unusual at football clubs any more. When it's the norm to have a new manager ever year to 18 months, you don't give that man total control of the budget. Of course, Mrs Trew doesn't have the experience in football that Rodwell had, meaning that it makes sense to spread some of his old responsibilities, such as rubber-stamping transfers.

Honestly, why all the bad press? I cant see what she has done wrong.

I think a lot of the criticism is summed up in the below points:

- Sacking managers at wrong times.

- Hiring rubbish managers.

- Trigger finger

- We (Fans) expect too much because of Munto (Despite her husband more recently saying things such as 'push for the Championship, 3/5 year plan' etc...

- Ray Trew blaming/criticising fans (Or the amount of fans) turning up, despite the fact under his reign we see quite a big downfall in attendance(coincidence?)

- The board is made up of two members, husband and wife.

- Trew's having any influence over who the club signs, apart from budget setting.

It's been there a while, I think the relegation has just highlighted it.
