Former Notts County academy ace Kion Etete has found himself in the Spurs fan spotlight for this superb effort in training.

looks like hes doing well at spurs, him breaking into their first team would be great to see. even if it dont work out there, someone in the championship will pick him up but if he keeps going he will improve and capture more managers eyes.

its a loss to notts.

I have seen Kion Etete play numerous times for the Notts youth team, he never really impressed during games - in training which he seems to spark he did look promising. I don't want to take anything away from him, he scored goals for fun in our academy but most of this was setup by good play. He does seem to have a natural finish but his ability to read the game and find space just lacked in my opinion.

Nonetheless it's a shame when a youth team player leaves, yet he will bulk up at Spurs and, get better training.

He already appears to have developed nicely, personally I think him staying here would have seen him held back and released. At least he has chance of gaining a much higher potential with them, yet I don't remember how much we let him go for. Was there talk about a sell-on clause?
