Ratings Halifax Town v Notts

Recommended Posts

Slocombe 5 Didnt really have a lot to do, got something on the ball but not enough to prevent Halifax's equaliser

Brindley 4 Too many sloppy passes and always checks inside rather than over lapping going forward

Rawlinson 5 Perhaps should have pulled the guy down in the final minute. Connel was Ok rest of the match

Lacey 7 Superb block, goes in where it hurts and was hurt

DKE 6 Much stronger on the left side for the team

Reeves 5 Good shot but expecting much more

Doyle 6 Kept midfield ticking

JOB 4 Faded second half, legs gone?

Enzio 3 and thats being kind, like playing as a team with only 10 men. Needless boot forward at end of 1st half

Sam 5 Took goal well, touch rest of the half just OK ish.

Wootton 4 Lack of service and constantly being fouled

Turner 1 All the experience and he switched off

Roberts 4 Could and should have made it 2

Slocombe 4 Poor decision making coming out and getting nowhere near it a couple of times. Not made to pay.

Brindley 4Weak

Rawlinson 4

Lacey 4 Lacksey-daisy attitude. Tried to gift them a goal (again).

DKE 6 Won more in the air than most.

JOB/Doyle/Reeves 4 It's all too pedestrian. Nice passes at a leisurely pace. Careful, methodical.... ****.

Enzio 2 Floated about doing not a great deal.

Sam 7 Only outlet up front. Took his goal well and made some decent runs. At times did a decent job linking the play up.

Wootton 2 Rubbish. Wasn't getting anything from the ref, but decided he wanted to continue to fall down and not win free-kicks all game. Baffling performance. Kick up arse needed.

Turner 2 Cart-horse. Can't play in a back 4 against anyone with a turn of pace.

Roberts 3 Delroy Facey would have scored that every day of the week.

I didn't listen long to the game, but its good to see the ratings being added even if it highlights the poor form that Notts has fallen into. Some of the players shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line-up at this point in time.

One of which should be used to exchange for a better player once the Football League transfer window re-opens in January.
