  1. Lacey, Cameron, Rawlinson and Slocombe are all crucial players, Notts needs them and I will be pleased to see the club go back to full strength. It's good that Burchnall acted fast to bring in the loans, I think these need extending if possible. Just to have that cover if needed, it also allows the occasional rotation.

  2. Notts County was a club on its knees during the remaining days of the 'error era', I am incredibly thankful that the Reedtz brothers have come in and given us some solid foundations to build on. Back-to-back playoff finishes, stronger recruits and players signed for a fee. The futures black and white!

  4. Connell Rawlinson needs to improve on his earlier performances, but I welcome him returning.

  5. I just want to see a steady performance and hopefully a good cup run will follow, don't care who Notts gets if Rochdale are knocked out. A TV tie might be nice though.

  6. @TheSkipper: Sheffield Wednesday fans seem to rate him, plus I do think our recruitment is a lot focused on the quality side of things - rather than the costs or experience.

  7. I've seen him play, he's a good prospect that should do just fine here. I am excited to see how he fits in, as Notts has needed someone with a bit of pace at the back, and whilst Kyle Cameron will be a loss. I think if he does well, Ian Burchnall should consider trying to bring him in for the full season.

  8. I'd avoid playing Cal in the pre-season, allow him to focus on training and then wait to slowly give him chance to gain match fitness in the league. He's better protecting, than losing again. Avoiding the Jimmy Spencer type situation, I am sure Roberts is ready and keen to go. Just need to be safe IMO.

  9. i agree, i said it at the start of the season and he unfairly gained some criticism for playing out of position but i think hes been brilliant all season.
