    BREXIT.....

@Piethagoram learn from history? So just because something wasnt too great before means it won't be at a second offering? You doubt the abilities of the UK. Its people like you who buy into the scare tactics that put doubts in your minds. You're forgetting all those who move abroad to Spain etc most are pension age and the there are others who take it with them and don't pay into the UK due to being in a new nation. Maybe if they get sent back more contributions will be made to the UK. Contract expired due to brexit oh my you really are deep in sacre monger. You really believe deportation will happen cause we are out? It will be controlled any legal working paying in to the state person who has immigrated over here will remain. If it came to Enzio having to leave or any other player due to a hard brexit then it'll be what it will be. You not seen all the elections going on recently in Italy, Germany and Holland? The parties making the biggest strides are those who wish to leave the EU. Coincidence? Nope after brexit 4 countries wanted to follow suit. Juncker, eu main man, making a mockery of himself in public stumbling. Yeah I want to be part of his establishment And your old enough to know? Tell me why the majority who voted out was over 65 then? Surely they know what it was like and want it back.

    BREXIT.....

@DangerousSausage @Piethagoram Like I said believe what you want. Be scare mongered if you want. Times change. Sawing an arm off is a different subject how can you compare leaving eu to that oh dear. Joining Real Madrid seems like a good idea for many players doesn't always work does it. Southgate didn't seem good appointment turned out OK. Nothing is certain unless you have seen e future. @Fan of Big Tone 25, we might not have been as great as is thought but times change we have moved on and without eu we can be stronger. Like I said I couldn't care about brexit. If you want to be remoaners fair enough doesn't change the result does it. We voted out. We're coming out. Move on. Its a farce.

    BREXIT.....

@Piethagoram Its all proper gander, they didn't want us to leave and our government don't want us to so they will do everything in their power to suggest that we'd be worse off It ain't a fact that we'd be worse off. It's not been proven cause it hasn't happened. Before the EU? We were a great nation. Times change. Fisherman voted out so they can have free roam of their waters which was restricted by the EU, our own waters we were restricted from. Farmers voted out so they can produce as much as they want and all shapes and sizes. Which the EU restricted. Butchers voted out so they don't have to be restricted to size from the eu. Imagine all that money we spend on the EU and pay them what we could do with that over here. You say about NHS there's the money for the NHS the money that we give eu it can in turn be used for this purpose. Believe what you want, until it happens you can not say for sure that it's a bad decision because it hasn't happened yet. If you want to believe media lies and proper gander you go ahead. Let them get to you with scaremongering. But that's your choice. I've made my choice and I'll stand by it. Brexit is a farce and I couldn't give two f's what happens as the government are bending over backwards for the EU who desperately want to keep us. The only reason we'd lose out isn't because of rules but because the EU will be a little baby and have a sulk and it'd b like "my toy you can't have this" it's nothing to do with brexit it's being spiteful that's all.

    BREXIT.....

@Piethagoram Do you really not see how much they take from us rather than others and use us as a door mat? Are you a psychic or time traveller? Can you see in to the future? So you can not say 100% it will be bad. Its just opinions at the minute and they are using scaremongering tactics to try get a second referendum they so desperately want. People aren't being told the whole truths or consequences about what would be remaining in? You believe what you like pal but you won't change my opinion. Until it happens you can't say it's a bad decision because unless you can see into the future you just don't know.

    BREXIT.....

@Piethagorammedia are scaremongering, government is scaremongering. Did the UK not do well before joining the EU? Since EU laws were implemented how many pubs and jobs have been lost here due to this? We have no obligation to Greece but cause the EU made them how they turned out we were told to pay up as usual. We did say no but then backed into a corner by the EU and our cowardly government is too scared to stand up. But the EU bully us in that way. And just for your information I am NOT a tory, I am NOT a Labour fan. I don't like any government as they all lie. People are just too scared to be out the EU because of the scaremongering. When the vote happened people voted but people didn't like the result which brought on self sabotaging and scaremongering tactics. As we are witnessing. It will work, if we stand up to the EU as they are more scared to lose us then we should be to lose them.

    BREXIT.....

On to the food standards, we import food that we produce ourselves. Now for me it's common sense rather than importing why not kee local produce. Fishing supplies will be up, farmers will be up. Hence why farmers and fisherman majority voted out. The food standard will not drop, its not a proven fact.

Do you know for sure we won't be better off? Are you gonna be one of them who don't accept the result as a remoaner? They are scared of losing us, you ever wondered why? Because they know under the right rule we can make Britain a powerful country. They see this as threat that there main contributers will be leaving.

    BREXIT.....

@Piethagoram @Piethagoramfrom@Piethagoramfrom what is said in the court cases it states headed by the EU. Who have the final word. The fact is they dictate to us, take for example when they needed a bail out didn't ask Germany France or any one else. It fell to us in Britain because they bully us into paying. Membership fee was paid but they still came back for more. Hence the reason why we struggle financially. Then we come to the point of the UK government who bend over backwards for the EU who scaremonger which in turn the UK government do to the public. We can thrive without the EU, people are just stuck in what is current. If we never joined the EU would people want in now? Considered how many of its members want out or are in financial trouble? No. The EU are a power party and would struggle without the UK not the other way round. With the right governing party we can leave the EU and thrive.
  9. KB1862

    BREXIT.....

@Piethagoram we have a housing crisis and state we can't provide more but the EU butted in telling us we need to take so many more eu nationals in, refugees coming over we get told to accept them even though theres France Germany Italy etc who are able to take them, Abu qatada being deported was prevented by the EU even though he posed a threat to the country. No matter what we say housing crisis, NHS crisis, deportations while under the rule of the EU we will forever suffer crisis after crisis.
  10. KB1862

    BREXIT.....

Tories - give to the rich, take from the poor Labour - borrow money put us in debt and corbyn and Abbott in the party no way they should be in power EU - we are the punch bag for them anything they can squeeze out of us they take for nothing. No reason. We have rules here but we are dictated to, we managed for so many years without the EU we can do it again. How many time have you seen this country want to do something for the better of this country only for the EU to reject it.
  11. KB1862

    BREXIT.....

@Piethagoram still not changed my mind, the EU is a bad part to be in. Switzerland one of the thriving countries in Europe not in EU. Greece bankrupt, France almost bankrupt. All because EU. We are the punching bag for the EU. We need out. In or out, the party in power will do whatever they want anyway.
  12. KB1862

    BREXIT.....

@cheeky~k8 tories are for the rich, Labour are against British values under corbyn. We have no alternative. "the last person to enter parliament with honest intentions was guy fawkes" believe that.

    BREXIT.....

@cheeky~k8 they all speak from the same sheet all lies

    BREXIT.....

It's an absoute farce now. I was interested in it when it happened I voted out. But now its all second referendum crap. There scaremongering the public and sabotaging the whole thing. Its gone on to long now. They didn't get the result they wanted so now making those 52% voters feel like they made a mistake. Couldn't care less about it now o to be honest.
  15. Still no win however a clean sheet. Can only get better.

  19. Notts County went into the new League Two campaign as one of the pre-season promotion favourites following on from last season which saw the Magpies reach the playoffs defying all expections. There was a real hope last season with Notts riding high up the table, many tipping and even expecting them to go up automatically, but the form after Christmas left fans wondering if they would even make the playoffs, which they did only to beaten by eventual winners Coventry City. But 7 League games in to the new season, Notts are still yet to win a single game. They have now gone 9 games in all competitions without a win. Losing on penalties to Middlesbrough following a 3-3 draw after 90 mins in the EFL Cup. Losing 2-1 to Grimsby Town in the EFL Trophy despite showing a dominant first half display under new manager Harry Kewell. Notts invested heavily during the summer on recruits which was needed to boost the team to push on and get one step further than last season and achieve promotion. Kristian Dennis, Kane Hemmings and Enzio Boldewijn came in and fans were ecstatic about these signings as they have proven what they are capable of in League Two. David Vaughan and Andy Kellett were bought in for a bit of experience. Will Patching and Tom Crawford also arrived to bring some youth to the team. Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ben Hall returned on loan, Nathan Thomas were also new additions to the squad to add depth. Following on from poor defensive displays that cost Notts leads and points, Elliott Ward was drafted in to add a bit of stability to a frail defence. Rob Milsom also returned alongside Harry Kewell when he was announced as manager from Crawley Town. Notts haven't won a competitive fixture since the 21st of April 2018 when they beat Yeovil Town convincingly 4-1 at Meadow Lane. This season, from a defensive point of view, they have been shambolic, having conceded 21 goals in their first 7 league games, an average of 3 goals conceded per game. The last time Notts conceded 20+ goals after 7 games was all the way back in 1888-89 when they conceded 23. Fans have shown their frustrations in the club and players this season following on from poor displays. Many speculate that there is something going on behind the scenes that we aren't aware of that is affecting the team. During the summer, Shola Ameobi & Alan Smith left the club. Which begs the question, did they have some influence on & off the pitch? They have both got Premier League experience and we often seen them animated on and off the pitch last season. Nolan, Kewell and fans have also pointed out that the players don't seem to have enough energy to go the full 90 as they look like burning out after 60 minutes. Mike Edwards was Strength and Conditioning coach but departed from his role this summer, could this be a reason or is that just a coincidence? There is clearly something not quite right at this club, whatever it is it needs addressing and it needs addressing fast. The status of 'The World's Oldest Football League Club' hangs in the balance, it might be early doors yet but things need to start improving fast! 20. Notts County travel down to pre-season promotion favourites Exeter City at the weekend. In this game, Harry Kewell will take charge of the Magpies his first League Two game since being appointed manager at the end of August succeeding Kevin Nolan. Kewell's very first game holding the Notts reins was the 2-1 EFL Trophy defeat at Grimsby on Tuesday night which left the club still looking for a first win of the season. Notts currently sit rock bottom of the Football League, while the Grecians sit 9th in the table. St James' Park is currently undergoing ground improvements with Notts fans receiving a maximum ticket allocation of 378 and will be seated in covered seats in the Main Stand. There will be no away tickets available on matchday meaning that tickets must be purchased beforehand. Those that wish to buy a ticket can do so by ordering them online on Notts County's official website or call the Notts County ticket office. 21. A great interview. Normally you can say talk is cheap but you look at the way he addresses the media. No smile, no shakyness. Pure emotion that he wants to do this job. I believe that if his actions are as good as his talk we will do exceptional.
  22. Fans were divided when Kevin Nolan was sacked as Notts County manager. Many fans believed he should have been given more time to turn things around at the club following a winless run of 6 games with many saying it is the players to blame as opposed to Nolan himself. But there were also fans suggesting it wasn't just the start of the season that was the tipping point it has been the clubs poor run of results since Christmas. Kevin Nolan guided Notts County to the Play-Offs last season, only to lose in the semi-finals to eventual Play-Off winners Coventry City. Following on from Kevin Nolan's sacking, vice-chairman Darren Fletcher has stepped down from his role. During an interview, Kevin Nolan suggested that he had the boards backing days before he was sacked and telling the media that he wanted to retain players from last season but was unable to do so due to making funds available to improve the squad. Alan Hardy then had an interview a few hours later stating it was a unanimous decision to sack Nolan following the defeat to Lincoln City. Since the sacking of Nolan, there was much speculation of who would be the next manager. Neal Ardley and Harry Kewell were the main names linked with taking over the reigns at the club. Fans gave their opinions on who it should be with many wanting Darren Ferguson or Gary Bowyer, with plenty of experience, to take charge of the club and hope to turn the clubs fortunes around. Harry Kewell became the front runner for the job but Crawley slapped a hefty price tag for Notts to pay to take him away from Crawley Town, which is speculated to be in the region of £400k. This put much doubt on Harry Kewell taking over, with reports suggesting that if Notts didn't want to meet the demands by Crawley they would then approach Neal Ardley. On August 31st, Harry Kewell was confirmed as the new manager of Notts County bringing Warren Feeney with him as assistant manager. There is no doubt that as a player Harry Kewell was one of the best players in the Premier League in the early 2000s as part of the 'Golden Generation' of Leeds United. It was his move to Liverpool that proved a downfall for his career following an injury prone stay at the Merseyside Club. Harry Kewell started his management career as head coach of Watfords under-21s team in 2015 but was sacked in 2017 following poor results. A month later, he became manager of League Two Crawley Town, his first taste as manager in league football. Kewell managed Crawley Town for 57 games boasting a win rate of 37.5%. But fans have had their say and many believe it could be a great appointment with his style of play, the record for a club with limited resources. Fans also point to last season when Notts played Crawley with how he sets up his sides. We all know how Harry Kewell was as a player, we have had a small view of how he is as a manager but only time will tell if he will succeed at a club that was predicted to be riding high at the start of the season. Rob Milsom has also rejoined Notts, coming with Kewell from Crawley, months after leaving Meadow Lane. But was this one of the players Nolan was hinting at that he wanted to keep from last season but had his hands tied as to the letting go? Is the reported £400k compensation pay too much to be spending on an inexperienced manager? The only thing that is for sure is, we need to give Kewell the backing he needs to make a success for this club. Let's hope he can turn the fortunes around and help the team progress and end the slump we've been on.
  23. Happy to hear this. It is much needed. Hopefully we can pull something off and get them players in.
  24. Absolute madness, should be given time to sort it out. If he don't get the results or change the squad after 10 or 15 games fair enough but it's far to early to be gone.
  25. Football is all about outscoring the opposition but the thing is we don't look like doing much. So we need to focus on being a solid defensive unit.
