  1. Really think Maynard's background in part-time football will be what sets us apart. He's used to making the most out of limited resources, and that kind of grit is what we need!
  2. So relieved to hear about Bajrami's progress! Tough break for the lad, but sounds like he's on the upswing. Can't wait to see him back on the pitch.
  3. Really optimistic about Jaden Warner. Here's hoping he's the defensive rock we need!
  4. What a start for the lad! Pure class on the pitch against Doncaster. Can see Sanderson shaping the future of Meadow Lane. Well in!
  5. I think Stuart Maynard's appointment is a positive move for Notts. He seems like a bright young manager with a lot of potential, and I'm excited to see what he can do with the team.
  6. I hope that Notts can make us proud. I won’t take the result too seriously even if it goes against us because we’re in a transition. I just hope Stuart Maynard inspires us to be at our best, especially as we’re playing at home.
  7. At this level, I’d prefer to hire someone who’s done well in the league we were in before. Rather than someone who’s been sacked from the same league or a higher one. Of course, there would be some exceptions but I reckon this is a great decision by Notts. Welcome to Meadow Lane, Stuart Maynard.
  8. @Robbie Good to have you here on PON, so welcome.
  9. Good to have you here on PON @Harry Buckley, so welcome.
  10. Good to have you here on PON, so welcome @True Magpie.
  11. Great read! There's a good sense of unity in the squad, and I feel optimistic about the upcoming games.
  12. Stuart Maynard stepping up to steer the ship, solid appointment. Cameron's leadership is key right now, could stabilize the squad through this transition. Optimistic vibes only!
  13. Stuart Maynard sounds like a solid choice. Thrilled about the future of Notts County with him at the helm. Here's to ambition matched with results!
  14. It does seem like a significant improvement, but we must remember that performances can fluctuate. It’s simply a positive sign of the team’s ability to go to the top of the league, who are performing well, and we put on a good show. I believe Aidan Stone and Aden Baldwin performed exceptionally well. Macaulay Langstaff helped kick-start us, Jodi Jones was outstanding. I thought Dan Crowley did well, but I just wanted to see a bit more finesse from him. Thrilled for David McGoldrick, he always appears to be a danger.
  15. A tremendous year indeed! Wonderful to watch Langstaff's journey from non-league to League Two. His dedication, team spirit and determination are exceptional. Keep up the good work, lad!
  16. I respect how Williams balances professional and personal lives of players, especially during Christmas. It showcases his leadership vision and commitment to player well-being. This sincerity might just drive Notts County to greater heights.
  17. I wouldn’t be surprised if Neil Warnock returns to the game soon. He clearly has a passion for football. What a remarkable individual!
  18. It’s encouraging to see the club’s dedication to making improvements. Hopefully, these changes will enhance safety for fans and provide necessary support for those who need the rails.
  19. Let’s not admit defeat before the game even starts. Our performance could turn around at any time, and I’m confident the players will give their all. I’m not intimidated by Stockport County; they haven’t faced us yet and don’t know what we’re capable of.
  20. You can really feel Macari’s excitement! Adapting to a new team and style can be tough, but this guy has proven he’s up to the task. Way to go, Lewis!
  21. Fascinating news! Macari has shown significant potential during his loan, notably that shiny winning goal at Gillingham. Really looking forward to seeing him flourish with us until 2027!
  22. Defensive consistency is indeed the key. This echoes the old adage, 'attack wins you games, defence wins you championships.' Looking forward to strengthened performances in this area.
  23. Welcome @TT1970, one comment leads to two and before you know you are all in. See you around, PON!
