  1. The loss to Colchester United was challenging, but I trust that Williams and the team learned valuable lessons from it. I'm hopeful that we can step up against the Robins, patch up our defences and exploit our opponent's weaknesses. This match could potentially be a turning point for us this season.
  2. Tough result, but we shouldn't be too hard on ourselves considering the formidable opposition. Still, we must concentrate on tightening our defences.
  3. Expecting a high stakes showdown between the Magpies and Colchester. May the best team win! [Notts]
  4. I must say, our away form has been impressive lately. Despite the challenging team, I'm quite certain we will leave a mark at the Colchester Community Stadium. Let's carry the same spirit and momentum into the game!
  5. Hello, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. It's great to have you here @Benji.
  6. Hello and welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. Join in with the content @Ryan Raynor.
  7. Hello, welcome to the PON site and community. It's a good site here @Morten Johansen.
  8. Hello, @Middlesex Magpie. I would ask where you are from but that seems obvious. So welcome to PON!
  9. I love how Austin emphasises the importance of teamwork. It's not just about individual skill, but how well they work as a unit.
  10. 35 and still slaying! Age isn't slowing McGoldrick down one bit. Great job, Notts County!
  11. Every shout, every cheer, and every chant - Notts fans are the twelfth player on the pitch!
  12. The goal was truly spectacular, and I can’t find any faults with it.
  13. The video featuring Neil Warnock is indeed top-notch. Here’s hoping he relishes his retirement during this second stint.
  14. When Sam Graham initially joined on loan, he appeared to be in good form. However, he soon gave the impression of being a tall figure who seemed unfamiliar with the concept of the ball on the pitch.
  15. I couldn't agree more with Williams. Being two goals up, we should have taken control. Exciting match nonetheless!
  16. What a match! Every minute was gripping with high anticipation, especially with Deeney's hat-trick. But glad to see Notts County's sheer determination and success. Brilliant performances on-field indeed.
  17. Jodi Jones is a promising and inspiring player. His skill in smoothly moving between club and international football, along with adapting to different positions and systems, is impressive. He openly discusses the obstacles he faces, showing his dedication to understanding the sport’s complexities at both national and international levels. His hearty commendation for the Notts County coaching staff and Meadow Lane fans shows a footballer who recognises and values everyone’s contribution to his career. Jodi Jones isn’t just a talented footballer—he’s also someone with a strong understanding of football dynamics and a solid team spirit.
  18. The team has certainly raised the standard when it comes to preparation and consistent fitness. Crowley’s performance is a clear reflection of the team’s diligent efforts.
  19. The focus on consistency and deep tactical understanding is truly refreshing. The effort on the pitch is evident - keep pushing, Notts!
  20. I am not as worried. I think if we defend well and don’t make it easy for them, we will create chances. It’s just about making sure we hit the target enough. However good MK Dons are, if we get in our stride, I think they will struggle. It’s just a case of whether they let us or if we work hard enough. I think their team is pretty average.
  21. Odd, interesting and funny interview. It’s strange to see the pedal centre pushed in the interview. I suppose Charlie Slater didn’t want to 1 v 1 Macca at football.
  22. Good luck to Neal Bishop. I hope he stays within the game and manages to find somewhere to take him on. I could easily see him in a coaching role.
  23. Yes! Hopefully, this stat will continue because it highlights how good last season was. The winning streak, numerous awards, players not missing a minute of action, etc.
  24. Ian Burchnall at Wolves? He either has some good contacts or he’s incredibly lucky to bounce from job to job. Even managers and players with heaps of contacts sometimes struggle. He just strolls from pillar to post.
  25. I can’t be the only fan who wishes Sky would choose a different game. Us vs Mansfield is always shown live. I understand the local derby element, but it’s become boring at this stage. They should show others with more priority than this, but they won’t. Thankfully, I will be at the live game.
