I’m not surprised, it seems like everywhere you look, companies are trying to make a quick buck and getting away with what I consider to be overpricing. These businesses seem to have no qualms about unfairly hiking their prices.

Zeli Ismail did okay. He had times when teams struggled to play against him, but I always felt that he needed a strong manager to get the best out of him on a regular basis. It's quite sad to see how far he has fallen, because he could easily be playing at a higher level even at his age now.

Yes, I recognise it. I agree, it gives a good atmosphere before games. I think the playlist is generally good, but I don't like hearing adverts when I'm sitting in my seat waiting for the game to start. Everything else is great.

I wasn't a big fan of his, but I thought he looked good in goal. He would probably do well in a Notts team now that focuses on giving the strikers plenty of chances. In games where Macaulay Langstaff doesn't get much service, he wouldn't be helpful up front. It's about giving him chances to score.

He looked capable, but I can't say why he didn't step up more often. I remember hearing that he struggled with fitness, but that can't be the only reason. It's a shame, because he had a good record at Chelsea's youth academy.
-
It's funny, but he needs to look at his own decisions and take some blame for the performance. If he tells the players what to do and they don't do it, he has a chance to change things during the game. So he can take some of his own words on board.

The PON site is flying higher than ever now, soaring like a true magpie! I'm impressed, and I wish you all the best with the fundraising and membership drive.

The signing of Dan Gosling is a clear sign of Notts County's ambition this season. He is a talented player with a proven track record at the highest levels of English football. He is also a leader, and he will be a good fit for the culture we are developing at the club.
Gosling is a versatile player who can play in a number of positions. He will add strength and depth to the squad, and we are confident that he will play a key role in helping us to achieve our goals this season. We are excited to have him on board, and we can't wait to see him in action.

I am happier knowing that the match is at home. I can't complain about the draw. It is what it is and Crawley will be a tough opponent for Notts at Meadow Lane in the first round of the FA Cup.

It would be good to start winning again, but I know Gillingham are a strong team. They want to get promoted, so it will be interesting to see how the match goes. If Notts can play well, I think we should win, but that means the team needs to turn up and work hard.
There are no easy games for either team, but we need to see Notts play aggressively again. It would be good for them to focus on the result and work towards it.

Thanks for explaining what happened. I'm sorry to hear that there are spiteful people who thought it was okay to attack PON. I'm so glad the site is back.

Yes, it's great to see the site back and everyone on it. I hope more people come back because it's a shame when others spoil a good thing.

At the moment, Junior Morias and Will Randall don't fit into the team. It's hard to say where they can or will play. You might be thinking that their wages could have been better spent on signing a defender. I think that's a fair point, but I am happy with our attacking options.

The performance wasn't bad, but the defending and Aidan Stone's passing were the problems. I think Luke Williams should tell the players not to always try to play the ball out from the back. I can see when it is useful and effective, but when a team presses and tries to win the ball, it can lead to problems. Look at the playoff final against Chesterfield. They came out trying to score early and it caused us problems. I don't know why we can't identify these problems before they become a problem, like we saw against Colchester United.

Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @Morten Johansen. For an overseas fan, PoN should be a very useful site for you, don't be put off from joining in because this will give you more of an understanding on Notts.

I believe Forest Green Rovers weren’t adequately recognised for their potential before the match. They began energetically and forced Notts to earn their lead. Scoring goals before half-time was an ideal situation, but it quickly turned sour as Notts’ performance deteriorated. Everything seemed challenging until they scored their first goal, and even then, our counterattacks weren’t as potent as they could have been. The 2-2 draw was a wake-up call for Notts, and thankfully, the team responded positively thereafter.
However, it was disheartening to concede a penalty. I may not be an expert, but deciding to trip someone in the penalty area seems ill-advised. Connell Rawlinson should be regretting that decision, rather than engaging with fans on social media. All the hard work put in by the team was nearly undone. Yes, it was entertaining, but if we’re discussing improvements and game-changing moments, we need to acknowledge that allowing the opposition to play freely can invite danger.

If Tom’s tweets came across as personal or inaccurate, then I would understand, but it seems not to be the case here. Rawlinson is well within his rights to tweet whatever he wants, but he should be aware that snide remarks don’t reflect well on him. It was previously pointed out that if it was a tweet about Rawlinson, it would have been fairer, but it was about boxing. People have opinions, and in this day and age, everyone seems to want to be offended by the slightest criticism.

I’ve already cast my vote, I did it the day the poll went live. But I just want to say that I hope no one feels overlooked. It’s a nice nod to those who help keep the community running smoothly.
