  1. Altrincham have played only 4 games. They didn't have a game last weekend. They have won 2 and lost 2. Their best result was a 3-1 win at Torquay. Their last game was a 1-0 loss at Wealdstone. They are a decent side and no push over. I don't think they will finish in the top half but I don't think they'll be relegated. The worry I'd have is the loss of Cameron & Rawlinson. I think we'll concede at least 1 goal. I'll go for a 2-1 to Notts but a draw is the most likely result.

  2. I couldn't believe what I was reading when I saw some pundits predicting a playoff place for Barnet. Their squad is poor. It's a squad that will be fighting relegation. Harry Kewell is not the man for a relegation fight. Barnet's issues go beyond what's happening on the pitch. Their future is gloomy. I wouldn't be surprised to see them fold in the not too distant future which would be a shame as I like going there when I'm in London.

  3. Wealdstone adopted a care free attitude after it was clear that there would be no relegation last season. They scored 49 goals and conceded a whopping 99 goals. Nots beat them 3-0 at the Lane and 1-0 at their place. Wealdstone are far more resilient this season. They held Dagenham to a 2-2 draw away from home. They drew with Southend as well. They are on a 3 match unbeaten run. IB will have his homework done and Notts will not take this game lightly. You'd expect Notts to win and I think they will but it will be tough. Chesterfield beat them 2-0 but it took 85 minutes to finally kill the game off. It could be similiar tonight. 2-0 to Notts is my prediction.

Can't believe how direct Wrexham are. It really is just an aerial bombardment from start to finish. It'll work at this level, no doubt, but you expect a team of Hollywood signings to be..... well a little more Hollywood. Thought we defended well in areas you'd expect us to be weak.... long throw-ins, corners.

Tozer and those bloody long throws are so tedious. Gets boring watching after a while.

That's Phil Parkinson for you. Wrexham fans will have sore necks watching his style of football. Phil better hope it works, I doubt he'll get much time if things start to go wrong.

  5. Wrexham picked up their first win on Saturday. They have 4 points from 2 difficult away games. This is their first home game. I think playing away actually suits Notts better. Wrexham will be playing in front of an expectant home crowd. That brings its own pressure. I think it will end 3-3.
