  1. Before I forget....... Brighton 1-2 Derby Wigan 1-1 QPR
  2. One more day to go. We now have 15 entrants which is better than I hoped for. Could you get an extra 5 to make it 20? Spread the word......
  3. I think there's a few who said they were interested, but haven't predicted yet. So come on and talk the talk Edit: We have 13 entrants so far. That's quite good. I'd like to get 15 plus. I'd like to see @BradtheMiller and @Dan sign up if possible.
  4. Just the 1st legs please. A lot can change between legs so we will take it 1 leg at a time.
  5. OK. Away we go......... Brighton vs Derby Wigan vs QPR Games are on Thursday and Friday. Predictions will be valid once they are in before the kick off of the 1st game. I will post the League 1 and 2 games on Thursday. Any questions, please ask. Good luck to all.
  6. How do. I'm creating this topic today cause I will be on my mobile over the long weekend and I'm not sure I can create topics, but I know I can post in them. I'll post the playoff games as soon as they are known. 3 points for getting the correct scoreline, 1 point for the correct result. So if Derby beat Reading 3-1. You get 3 points for 3-1 and 1 point if you had Derby to win the game. If you pick all 3 winners in the finals, I'll give you a bonus of 3 points. That should make it more interesting.......
  7. Leicester have some good players. They do need to bring in players with Premiership experience though. Kasper will have plenty to do that's for sure!
  8. Blackburn Rovers v Wigan Athletic (kick off 12:15pm) 2-1 Bolton Wanderers v Birmingham City (kick off 12:15pm) 2-1 Sheffield United v Coventry City (kick off 3pm) 3-1 Swindon Town v Rotherham United (kick off 3pm) 0-1 Northampton Town v Oxford United (kick off 3pm) 2-1 Torquay United v Wycombe Wanderers (kick off 3pm) 2-1
  9. Italian football is weak. Juventus are the best of a bad lot. Benfica deserved to win. I hope they go on and win in the final.
  10. FIFA should have an official predictor game. We could use this? I'm sure there will be plenty of others.
  11. Notts are only 2 games away from being FA Cup champions. They should beat Everton in the semis. Then it's Chelsea, Birmingham or Arsenal in the final at MK Dons.
  12. Oldham are playing well and it's away from home. I share your anxiety. I don't think we'll win on Saturday.
  13. http://www.fawsl.com/matchesCup.html I actually prefer this cup to the women's FA Cup. Notts have a tough group with Birmingham and Bristol Academy, but it's far better than having Chelsea or Liverpool.
  14. OK. I'll officially launch this on Monday morning. The first game is tonight week. That will give people plenty of time to enter their predictions.
  15. I'd say we will get at least 10 people, so I'll go ahead and organize this. I'll plug it in Weymouthpie's next and last set of predictions.
  16. I don't want to step on @weymouthPIE toes but is anyone interested in a playoff prediction league? Just for fun and to keep us going before the World Cup starts. Same rules as the current prediction league.
  17. The way thing are going, Notts and Villa might be separated by only one division next season Seriously, I hope Villa stay up, ye are too big for the Championship. Maybe Birmingham will light up a disappointing season for ye by being relegated!
  18. AFC Bournemouth v Nottingham Forest 1-2 Doncaster Rovers v Reading 0-1 Carlisle United v Oldham Athletic 2-1 Rotherham United v Milton Keynes Dons 2-0 Bury v Portsmouth 2-1 Wycombe Wanderers v Bristol Rovers 1-1
  19. I didn't even know I had been nominated Thanks...... I voted, but not for myself.........
  20. Swindon will score I reckon. I don't see us winning this game to be honest. I think we'll do well to get a draw.
  21. Burnley 1-1 Wigan Ipswich 2-1 Bournemouth Oldham 2-1 Coventry Tranmere 0-2 Sheffield Utd Hartlepool 1-0 Morecambe Scunthorpe 2-1 Oxford
  22. 2-1 to Bristol City. Spencer. They won't give us any time on the ball. They are a physical, high tempo side that force teams into errors and capitalize on them. A point would be a fantastic result but I just can't see it....
  23. Chelsea showed they mean business with a 2-0 win at Bristol Academy last night. Liverpool got their title defence off to a flying start after a 1-0 home win against Man City. There are 3 games next Sunday. Match Of The Day is Liverpool's trip to Chelsea. The Champions against the pretenders to the Crown.
  24. Huddersfield Town v Brighton & Hove Albion 1-2 Wigan Athletic v Reading 2-1 Brentford v Preston North End 1-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers v Rotherham United 2-1 AFC Wimbledon v Newport County 1-0 Wycombe Wanderers v Northampton Town 1-2
  25. A date no football fan will ever forget. 96 Liverpool fans left home and never returned. Their reputations were attacked by the establishment. They were called hooligans. If the establishment thought they could get away with it, they were wrong. They picked on the wrong city. 25 years later justice is finally being done. Reputations have been restored, not that they were ever sullied in football fans's eyes. We knew the truth. They'll never walk alone........ JFT96.
