  1. Burnley 1-1 Wigan Ipswich 2-1 Bournemouth Oldham 2-1 Coventry Tranmere 0-2 Sheffield Utd Hartlepool 1-0 Morecambe Scunthorpe 2-1 Oxford
  2. 2-1 to Bristol City. Spencer. They won't give us any time on the ball. They are a physical, high tempo side that force teams into errors and capitalize on them. A point would be a fantastic result but I just can't see it....
  3. Chelsea showed they mean business with a 2-0 win at Bristol Academy last night. Liverpool got their title defence off to a flying start after a 1-0 home win against Man City. There are 3 games next Sunday. Match Of The Day is Liverpool's trip to Chelsea. The Champions against the pretenders to the Crown.
  4. Huddersfield Town v Brighton & Hove Albion 1-2 Wigan Athletic v Reading 2-1 Brentford v Preston North End 1-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers v Rotherham United 2-1 AFC Wimbledon v Newport County 1-0 Wycombe Wanderers v Northampton Town 1-2
  5. A date no football fan will ever forget. 96 Liverpool fans left home and never returned. Their reputations were attacked by the establishment. They were called hooligans. If the establishment thought they could get away with it, they were wrong. They picked on the wrong city. 25 years later justice is finally being done. Reputations have been restored, not that they were ever sullied in football fans's eyes. We knew the truth. They'll never walk alone........ JFT96.
  6. Even the manager admits it's a franchise ;-) Lincoln Ladies didn't concede many goals last season and Passmoor knows his stuff, but I doubt Notts have the quality to finish in the top 3. Tonight's game should be a good indicator.
  7. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26968386 It should be an interesting season. I think Liverpool will win it again. 2 teams qualify for the Champions League. It's hard to say who will push Liverpool. Chelsea could be the new kinds on the block. They have a good team. Bristol Academy Ladies vs Chelsea is the stand out game from the opening league games. An early test of Chelsea's title credentials. Bristol qualified for next year's CL so they will be a tough nut to crack.
  8. I saw it on ITV. I enjoyed it. That fish he caught in the depths of the ford in Norway was prehistoric. No wonder people think there's a monster in the Loch!
  9. Keeps the pressure on Burnley as well. It's unlikely ye will finish 2nd but there's a still a chance.
  10. I fancy Chelsea now. I reckon Atletico Madrid are their biggest threat.
  11. A win and we will be out of the relegation zone IMO. Carlise are away to PNE and I don't think they'll get anything out of that game. So we should be out on GD.
  12. Real are rudderless without Ronaldo. He's their go to guy and when he isn't there, they look lost. If he isn't available for the semis, I don't see Real progressing.
  13. Leeds United v Blackpool 2-1 Sheffield Wednesday v Blackburn Rovers 1-2 Stevenage v Colchester United 2-1 Walsall v Bristol City 1-0 Plymouth Argyle v Oxford United 1-1 Southend United v AFC Wimbledon 2-0
  14. Blackpool will go down I reckon. They are shocking. If we manage to stay up, it will be a trip to the seaside next season!
  15. Looked like a penalty to me, but it's from a bad angle so I can't say for certain.
  16. Great result for us last night. Keeps Colchester in our sights. Result of the midweek games goes to Charlton. Won 1-0 at Leeds. A big boost in their fight to avoid relegation.
  17. AFC Bournemouth v Queens Park Rangers 1-2 Doncaster Rovers v Birmingham City 2-0 Sheffield United v Leyton Orient 2-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers v Peterborough United 2-1 Chesterfield v Newport County 1-0 Rochdale v York City 2-0
  18. Quality strikers always cause us problems. Donaldson is one of the best in the division. There's a huge difference between Crewe or Colchester and Brentford. We are an average side at best. They are one of the best in the division.
  19. Brentford have had their blip over the last couple of games. I expect them to bounce back on Saturday. 2-1 to the Bees.
  20. I'm sure we'll find a WC prediction site online. If not, we can use Excel to create our own.
  21. Neck and neck with Mr Hateley. Squeaky bum time!
  22. Ipswich Town v Nottingham Forest 2-0 Yeovil Town v Barnsley 2-1 Crewe Alexandra v Coventry City 2-1 Walsall v Shrewsbury Town 1-0 Fleetwood Town v Rochdale 1-1 York City v Burton Albion 1-0
  23. Should be a win. Colchester showed some spirit in their game against Wolves which is about the only worry I'd have.
  24. @tonyhateley is in range but every time I get close, he pulls away again......time is running out...
  25. I'll give it a go! Although, I have applied for the F****t job........I reckon I'll get it as well..
