  1. 2 poor sides. Both are on a bad run. Home advantage should tell. Pies win......
  2. Ipswich Town v Wigan Athletic 1-1 Millwall v Charlton Athletic 2-1 Crewe Alexandra v Oldham Athletic 2-1 Milton Keynes Dons v Peterborough United 2-1 Cheltenham Town v Torquay United 1-0 Dagenham & Redbridge v Morecambe 0-1
  3. If this were at the Lane, I'd be confident of victory, but our away form is woeful so I'm less hopeful. A point wouldn't be bad, but all 3 are badly required.
  4. I've got Super_Ram in my sights. Then Tony. Slowly but surely.....
  5. The state of the pitch is a concern. It was bad before Saturday and hasn't had much time to recover. That might slow MK Dons down but it won't suit us either. I'd be happy with a draw but I reckon they will win 1-0.
  6. http://www.breakingnews.ie/sport/soccer/notts-county-fans-sing-hilarious-songs-as-they-get-thrashed-624692.html Have to laugh....
  7. Barnsley v Leicester City 0-2 Doncaster Rovers v Watford 1-2 Gillingham v Coventry City 2-1 Walsall v Crewe Alexandra 2-1 Exeter City v Northampton Town 1-1 Mansfield Town v York City 0-1
  8. Absolutely. It could have been the making of him. Football isn't always a bed of roses. You have to learn to deal with the pressures. Notts at the moment is a pressure environment.
  9. Sheffield Utd are a much better fit for Freeman right now. They are on the up and we are not.
  10. Birmingham City v Queens Park Rangers 1-2 Brighton & Hove Albion v Reading 1-0 Swindon Town v Milton Keynes Dons 2-1 Walsall v Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-2 Bristol Rovers v Plymouth Argyle 1-1 Oxford United v Burton Albion 2-1
  11. We should be a League One side. Championship might be a step too far. We are certainly better than League 2. We are under achieving at the moment.
  12. I was going to fly over for the Brentford away game, but I changed my mind. I'm going to London vs Galway in Gaelic Football in May instead. It costs a bit to go to London and I can't be spending hard earned money watching players who don't give a damn.
  13. Leyton Orient are a well drilled side. They do the basics well and have put together a very capable squad. They are everything I'd like Notts County to be. If we get anything out of the game then it will be a welcome surprise.
  14. I won't say I know how you feel but I have an idea cause my Mum suffers from depression. She's in hospital at the moment. She's agitated and worried. It's awful to see her like this. I only hope she will recover. We have to talk about depression. It's OK not to be OK.
  15. Isn't there a rumour doing the rounds that we will have yet another striker arriving before too long? I certainly hope so.
  16. Burnley v Derby County 2-1 Nottingham Forest v Wigan Athletic 1-1 Crawley Town v Peterborough United 0-1 Tranmere Rovers v Oldham Athletic 2-1 Fleetwood Town v AFC Wimbledon 2-1 Rochdale v Oxford United 1-0
  17. They could have been affiliated to Notts County and stayed in Lincoln is my understanding. By definition, moving a club from one place to another is a franchise. We might not like it, but we have a franchise associated with us. I hope they crash and burn. It's all they deserve.
  18. Huddersfield Town v Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Yeovil Town v Doncaster Rovers 1-1 Brentford v Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 Port Vale v Crewe Alexandra 2-0 Morecambe v Oxford United 1-1 Torquay United v Accrington Stanley 2-1
  19. The ladies team are a franchise and I for one hope they fail miserably as it would only encourage more franchises in football. Football clubs are rooted in the community. What Mr Trew did by moving Lincoln Ladies to Notts is no different to what MK Dons did. The last thing we want is franchises springing up all over the place. It will destroy the game as we know it. It's shameful to see a franchise associated with our proud club.
  20. Norway was once part of Sweden. When it became independent, people said it wouldn't survive. Look at them now. Scotland has oil and fishing, just like Norway. I reckon they would do fine on their own. If the UK says they cannot use the Pound, then Scotland should withdraw their agreement to pay their part of the UK National Debt. Scotland wants to be part of the EU and the only way to guarantee this is independence as the UK will vote to leave the EU after the next election.
  21. I'm resigned to life in League 2 next season. I'll be depressed but I'll still support the club of course. If Notts were no longer around, I'd support Barnet I guess. My cousin follows them and I have been to a few of their games.
  22. Doncaster Rovers v Barnsley 2-1 Millwall v Bolton Wanderers 2-1 Crawley Town v Carlisle United 2-1 Preston North End v Leyton Orient 2-1 Hartlepool United v Newport County 2-1 Plymouth Argyle v York City 2-1
  23. @weymouthPIE I know my score this week was bad, but you could have at least added it to the list........
  24. Brighton & Hove Albion v Doncaster Rovers 2-0 Charlton Athletic v Birmingham City 2-1 Leyton Orient v Peterborough United 2-1 Port Vale v Swindon Town 1-0 Scunthorpe United v Chesterfield 2-1 Wycombe Wanderers v Accrington Stanley 2-1
  25. Any time with a half decent striker who's quick and plays off the centre halves causes us problems. That won't change against Coventry I'm afraid. Another defeat me thinks. That would make 20 already this season. The team with the next most losses is Stevenage with 16. Tells a lot.
