It may have been a blessing in disguise to go down to come back stronger with a better set up and some positive structure in place

Notts always perform better once they gain confidence. Arron Nemane was exceptional and in the second half, we controlled the game well. At times, it was unfortunate that some of our plays didn't receive the rewards they deserved.
Those who say that Notts didn't play well are missing the point. The players performed well, perhaps not as well as Chesterfield overall, but they dominated in spells. It's frustrating that many fans don't understand why Notts passes back. It's clear that it opens up play and defenders find it difficult to deal with. The faster the passing, the sooner someone gets into a position to score. Changing this would make Notts much less effective.
If Notts could learn to be more direct at times, it would silence those who just complain, including when we win in the season but expect 5 goals instead of 2. Or those who feel Notts are too predictable when it's just a difficult game.
@4everapie There’s a point to discussions and fans having their say, it’s what makes things interesting. Rather than watching people just complain.
Agreed discussion and having your say is a part of football, and I'll be discussing the game when I'm back at work Tuesday but we'll still be in league 2 next season

its not just bajrami, the back 3 had no awareness together. cameron plays to far up, the wing back did not protect them enough. bajrami was bad, but so was rawlinson. i dont think those 3 work together, baldwin has more pace and is more switched one.
very disconnected at the back, but its things to learn from isn't it?
now is the time to work on those in order to improve in time for the playoffs.

They only won because as per usual through poor defending, Bajrami isn't a defender. Ruben shouldn't have started he obviously still wasn't well. When we get promoted we'll need better defenders.

If we end up 2nd, which seems likely then we shouldn't be dispondent as we're a better team than the previous playoffs teams, L.W won't let the pressure get to the players hopefully, so I'm confident we'll have a great day at Wembley and say goodbye to this God-awful league once and for all. C'MON YOU PIES

I think the pitch played a part as to why we were not up to our usual standard, players seemed to be not going for it as to avoid getting injured
Can we do a Luton?
