  1. Awful news, a vastly underrated manager of England and a true character of the game. This is saddening news! Rest in Peace, Terry.
  2. Ben Davies was a top player for us. He wore the Notts shirt with a lot of pride and I loved watching him celebrate and acknowledge the Notts badge. We should have sold him for a lot more than he went to Derby for, but at least we got something for him.
  3. Neil Warnock would have adored that chant. Going out with a bow is dull; at least his approach is distinctive. Wishing him the best of luck in his retirement.
  4. This will be a brilliant read, and I will ensure to pick up the ebook and utilise my phone's reader to have it read aloud to me. Nevertheless, if Paul decided to record himself reading it, I would be willing to pay for that.
  5. Don't be put off by how friendly we are, visit and enjoy! So, welcome from me @Morten Johansen.
  6. It doesn't dampen the party-like atmosphere or the belief we have in the squad. I comprehend Luke Williams' point of view; his management style is nearly perfect. I don't think he'll be bothered if we celebrate each victory as if it brings us one step closer to promotion.
  7. Best Signing: David McGoldrick Highest Goal Scorer: Macaulay Langstaff Most Improved Player of the Season: Tobi Most Starts in the Season: Adam Chicksen Best partnership between two players: David McGoldrick and Dan Crowley
  8. Hello, welcome to PON @Bryn Roberts.
  9. Hello, welcome to PON @BeestonPie.
  10. KEEP THE LEAD NOTTS. It sounds like the best away game of the 2019 season, the squad half might be tricky but if the midfield do their part this game can be won.
  11. A draw wouldn't be a bad thing, it retains the undefeated run and it gives them a chance to up their game to get the win after. Bury is beatable, they are just a decent team nothing more. Its all down to how Harry Kewell sets the players up.
  12. It's good to see the 3 points come from a home performance, Notts really worked hard to get the win and the second half they could have had several. That was the main difference from the first 45 minutes, Notts just didn't control the game but Kewell and the players corrected that.
  13. Can we just get that first league win of the season? That's all I ask.
  14. Good to see the players and club working hard to resolve the poor start to the season, Jon Stead is the right man to lead the team too.
  15. I don't understand how people can call criticism abuse? There are some on social media sites who get personal or borderline abusive but as a paying fan or supporter it gives us the right to say our opinion. Fitzsimons this season has shown us why he was plucked out of the Non League, he should be replaced. Other than that the game was positive, I felt Notts played well but errors at the back cost the club three points again. That's disappointing but I accept it.
  16. We have to give Harry Kewell a warm reception and get behind the players from the off. The game won't be easier but its winnable if the players work well enough.
  17. Good opportunity for Notts to claim their first win against Cambridge. Some of my friends think it would have been better if the fixtures handed the club a tougher start, that they might be more eager to start off better but I think it's a case of slowly does it. 2-0 Notts win!
  18. Last season I would not have given it to Roy, solely based on his disciplinary record but if he can keep this check, being a goalkeeper won't make a different if he is the right man. Nice comments indeed made by him.
  19. If we can have more days like this, more importantly at meadow lane all will be good. The day did start and end well, there was so buzz in the air which continued into the stands. 3 points against Mansfield please.
  20. Great response by Piety and a worthwhile read.
