  1. It's got to be the strongest team that starts but we could allow a couple fringe players to safe legs for the league. The clash should be a good one.
  2. If we can't beat Newport County at home I think I will accept it that Notts are destined to decline. I just want to see effort and a decent performance at the end of the day.
  3. Notts needs to keep the ball on the ground or else these hiccups will continue to happen.
  4. Nolan get it all wrong again but he got a reaction after the half time talk. The players are making it difficult all of a sudden, its like they don't believe in themselves all over again. Terrible defending from the off.
  5. I just want to say it, WE ARE STILL TOP OF LEAGUE TWO. 3-0 win over Exeter? Fantastic!
  6. Its about time we thrashed someone in this division, great all round performance by Notts. WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!
  7. Do Crawley have any good strikers? If they don't I think it we will be fine.
  8. If Stead didn't score the penalty it would have been a draw. I felt Notts defended very well but lacked any spark up front, Forte tried but we desperately need another striker. Good team performance but I hope for a more polished performance all round.
  9. It sounds like Swindon fans are unhappy with whom they have in charge. How long until he's sacked?
  10. I can see it ending a draw but we have to keep the run going for as long as we can. Fortress Meadow Lane!
  11. Agreed. We just need to hold out for longer because we have the tendency of giving games a way.
  12. Fantastic player! I have many brilliant memories of seeing Brian Stubbs play for Notts.
  13. Very uninspiring performance but the players kept at it and got the win. Port Vale don't look like much of a side in league two but I just hope nobody gets carried away. If we win a few or lose one, people just get all OTT.
  14. The club started signings to please the moaners on Twitter who kept asking if there was any signings, if you asked me it seems the club rushed and struggled to recruit players in. Kevin Nolan has signed some decent players, he just needs to have faith in them and give opportunities. Jonathan Forte is a good player, he will come good as will Jon Stead. He just needs more time!
  15. Good read Joe, certainly well written.
  16. Yes, a defender who knows no messing would be a good asset. I do also agree with what is outlined by Joe and I would hope we can see some players shipped out at least on loan.
  17. You have to start somewhere, so good luck on Saturday Jamie. Find the best 11 and work with them, if you can do that then the squad will pick itself and give you less to worry about.
  18. I feel sorry for him, as it does not help sitting youngsters on the bench and we hardly found him a suitable loan arrangement.
  19. I cannot say I am all that bothered, his best years are behind him and this was the case last time he had worn a black & white shirt. He has contributed but little, good attitude and a proper footballer. Yet we do not need any uncertainly, so for that reason if he wants to leave, Notts should make it known that he can because he can focus on who can be apart of this seasons squad.
  20. I drive but this is good for those who want independent information.
  21. They will be hoping for compensation won't they? I think we can look at those unattached myself.
  22. Time for Notts to review their contract polices I think because I can see him leaving, which would be a shame.
  23. I can safely say I was at the Morecambe game, I also remember Sol's lacking performance and how he spent the majority of time complaining about petty things. This is a brilliant contribution to a very good website.
  24. Very hard to accept because of the performance but you have explained what happened well here Tom. Well done for putting things into perspective!
