  1. Wycombe Wanderers defender Joe Jacobson has described Notts County midfielder Jorge Grant as "probably the best player in the league" this season. The Nottingham Forest loanee has made 39 League Two appearances this term, scoring 15 goals and registering five assists. Although Grant's form has tailed off in the second half on the season compared to the barnstorming first half, Chairboys man Jacobson is still wary of the threat posed by the Magpies' leading scorer. Ahead of Friday's meeting, he told Bucks Free Press: “He’s a very good player and I think he’s got the recognition he deserves this season. "He’s probably been the best player in the league so I’ve got to make sure I’m on top of my game. “I’ve played against a lot of good players in my career so it will be another challenge for me to have a good performance against a player who is very highly thought of, so it’s something that I’m looking forward to.’’ Share your thoughts about this news story on Pride of Nottingham by signing up to the website, visiting the forum and joining in the chat with hundreds of fellow Notts County fans. 2. Kevin Nolan has expressed his relief with Notts County clawing out a 4-2 win at Wycombe Wanderers after being pegged back from a two-goal lead. A Richard Duffy header and an Adam El Abd own goal saw the Magpies head into the Adams Park dressing rooms at the break in an advantageous position. However, the Chairboys hit back through Nick Freeman and Joe Jacobson, only for Jonathan Forte and Lewis Alessandra to restore County's two-goal lead late on. “Relief is a big word because Gareth (Ainsworth, Wycombe boss) set his team up to come at us in the second half,” Nolan told the Nottingham Post. “We had deservedly taken in a half-time lead and I had said to the lads don’t go away from what you’re doing. “I feel that we did and we just started taking an extra touch on the ball. We were getting caught in possession and weren’t really putting it in the right areas. “That allowed them to get back into the game, but I had a pop at the linesman, for which I apologised after, because I felt there was an offside in the build-up to their second goal. “But overall to get the winning goals from the substitutes was fantastic.” Share your thoughts about this news story on Pride of Nottingham by signing up to the website, visiting the forum and joining in the chat with hundreds of fellow Notts County fans.
