We at Pride of Nottingham feel very privileged to count BettaBytz Computers as one of our corporate partners. Back in August we announced our partnership with the Mapperley-based computer shop, owned and managed by Notts County fan Kevin Searcey. Established in 2001 by Kevin and establishing itself as a Mapperley High Street fixture since 2009, BettaBytz have invaluable knowledge and experience in repairing desktops, laptops, mobile phones, tablets, TVs and many other household electricals. In addition, BettaBytz also sell a wide range of computers and gizmos, with desktops, laptops and tables just some of the items that you can purchase. At present, BettaBytz have some amazing offers in store - here are just a couple of these for you to check out! Kevin will talk through the best options for you and, instead of buying at a soulless corporate shop, you can put your trust in an independent store run by a Notts born-and-bred individual who values and gets to know each and every customer that walks through the door! So if you're after a new computer, check out these deals - while stocks last, and they will sell quick - and either go in store or contact Kevin for more info! Bettabytz Computers is located on 625 Woodborough Road, Mapperley, Nottingham, NG3 5QG. To get in touch with Bettabytz Computers, visit their website www.bettabytz.co.uk, check out their Facebook page, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0115 952 2781. Well, what a superb year 2017 has been. From a one-way ticket to relegation from the Football League and on the verge of liquidation, Notts County have enjoyed the greatest resurrection since Lazarus over the past 12 months. Since Alan Hardy took over the club and installed Kevin Nolan as manager, things have been steadily on the up. League Two survival was guaranteed with several games to spare and, as of the New Year, the Magpies sit in the automatic promotion places. We at Pride of Nottingham are over the moon to see our beloved Notts doing so well, especially given the preceding few years, and we're enjoying every second of the New Era! As we all know, however, football doesn't operate on calendar years - there's still just under half a season to go, and we're hopeful that Notts will get the job done! Because of this, we have created a special offer for you to get your 2018 off to a great start while making the most of the current campaign - 18 for 2018! For the remainder of January, you can become a Pride of Nottingham sponsor for the remainder of the 2017-18 season AND the entirety of the 2018-19 season for just £300! Here is how PON can promote your business: - Putting up a universal banner link promoting your company just above the site's footer (visible across the website) - Adding your company to our partners page with details about the business, your logo and a clickable link to your website in addition to a 'find out more' link (if services warrant such page) to a dedicated page which talks about the company in further detail and provides contact/location information - Including your company logo in video content published on PON’s YouTube channel named as sponsor/partner (Meet the Fans, Opposition View, Aftermath, Match Preview, Tactics and Specials) - Mentioning your company within the PONcast upon rotation - Publishing an exclusive article on the PON website about your company/services, along with video and potential interview for our site - Including you in our newsletters as a sponsor/partner - Two exclusive promotional adverts placed across our popular social media channels (we will also share news/offers for free from our own personal accounts, and may share additional information across PON) BettaBytz Computers and Notts Driving School are already part of the Pride of Nottingham family - take advantage of this great offer and you can join us in supporting the Magpies for the rest of this season and the next! Notts County have today announced that the shirts to be worn in Saturday's FA Cup second-round game with Oxford City will sport a William Hill Plus logo on the chest and a William Hill logo on the sleeve, plus there will be other branding around the stadium. Notts have previously done one-off shirt sponsor deals in cup games (Man City, Liverpool) but is doing it with a non-league side just a bit too far? That said, having Paragon (Hardy's company) as the default sponsor for cup games was a genius move... his own business gets promoted, but it's also a blank slate for the highest bidder. Thoughts on this deal?

Since its creation in 2013, Pride of Nottingham has gone from strength to strength, and with us now in our fifth full season covering Notts County, we're delighted and perhaps even a bit surprised at how far we've come. We boast a thriving forum which is not far off breaking the four-figure mark in terms of members, with more than 5,000 topics and more than 70,000 posts and counting. Our website gets thousands of unique views per day and it's well past the million mark for article views. And our social media presence is close to 5,000 followers across the big three platforms Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Of course, we wouldn't be where we are now if it wasn't for you reading this now, and all you amazing people who read the articles, engage with the social media posts, chat on the forums, and contributed to our donation drive. A massive thank you for being part of this journey. Sure, there have been some tough times. The off-field problems at Notts over the last few years and poor form on the pitch were hard to take as fans, and just as difficult to report on as part of the site. Doing a match report on the club's 10th consecutive defeat in League Two is not easy, believe me. But we have never shirked from what we see as our duty in covering what needs to be covered, allowing people to give their opinions and, when possible, try to instil some optimism where it can be instilled. But with the club now on an upwards trajectory, with Alan Hardy at the helm, Kevin Nolan in charge of the first team, and a group of players that are giving the fans good football and positive results, it really makes it worthwhile to know that we've been there through thick and thin. Just as the club is looking up, so are we. At PON, we're always looking for improvement. We're not happy just treading water, we want to step up our game, produce even better and more regular content, and give you, the followers, an even better experience on the site and on social media. You may have seen the news recently of our partnership with Bettabytz Computers of Mapperley, which is truly a fantastic opportunity for us, and we will also ensure that it is a fantastic opportunity for Kevin. This is exactly what we mean in terms of us stepping up our game. If you read the news and, as a business owner, thought that you would like to come on board with PON like Bettabytz Computers has, we are delighted to announce that we are looking to work with additional partners and sponsors. If you would like your company to be exposed to thousands of people of all ages and walks of life but who are all united through a love for Notts, and not just in Nottinghamshire but across England and even worldwide, then PON presents a fantastic opportunity for you to do so. We have a designated advertising page for you to check out, which goes into further detail as to what makes working with PON such a great opportunity, and also what we will do for you, so don't hesitate to have a look. At PON, our duty is to provide the best possible experience for our followers and associates, and so far, it's been an incredible journey, so why not join us on this journey and grow and prosper together? For more information, check out our designated advertising page, contact email@example.com or drop us a message on the site or on social media today!
Pride of Nottingham are delighted to announce that we have sponsored Jonathan Forte's home kit for the 2017/18 season. The Barbados international is currently in his fourth spell at Notts County, having joined permanently from Oldham Athletic in July 2016. Prior to that, Forte had been on loan at Notts three times, in 2008 (four games, four goals), 2009 (14 games, four goals) and 2012 (10 games, five goals). This season, the Sheffield-born striker made his first appearance in the League Cup penalty shootout defeat to Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park, where he impressed up front. Notts manager Kevin Nolan had revealed prior to the game that he and Forte had a "frank discussion" at the weekend but, following the 120 minutes plus spot kicks at Scunthorpe, he had nothing but good things to say about the 31-year-old. “He harried them, he created chances for himself as well as others,” Nolan told the Nottingham Post. “It’s just exactly what I wanted from Forte which was to use what he’s best at. That was using his pace and a good touch to try to get shots off. He did all of it and I thought he was excellent on Tuesday night. “We had a frank discussion after the Coventry game and a few home truths come out. But he responded in the right way. He proved to me that he wants to be here and fight for his place. “That’s a great thing for me because he’s putting pressure on Jon Stead and Shola Ameobi which they thought they probably didn’t have on Tuesday night. So I have options and that’s great." Pride of Nottingham would like to wish Forte all the best for the remainder of the 2017/18 season - COME ON YOU PIES!!! Alan Hardy has "completely transformed" Notts County since taking over the previously beleaguered club at the start of 2017, according to one of the new team sponsors. Macesport, based in Nottingham's Lace Market, have signed up to be the first name on the Magpies shirt following the announcement of the club's never-before-seen monthly sponsor arrangement. And lifelong Notts fan Paul Mace, who founded the company 12 years ago, has praised Hardy's work so far, urging other local companies to get involved. He told the Nottingham Post: "Without Alan, Notts County would no longer be a Football League club. In six months he has completely transformed the culture, ambition and professionalism of the club. "It is now beholding of the local business community to rally around Alan and support him. Notts are the only football club in Nottingham owned by a Nottinghamshire man who fully understands the heartbeat of the local community. "It's an easy decision to show my support for Alan because of my lifelong passion for the club, my family's backing which goes back to the 1880's and my roots in Nottingham. "Alan has invested a substantial seven-figure sum, which saw a near instant doubling in attendances and a huge increase in families attending Meadow Lane. "Equally, the business community now has to step up to the plate collectively and pledge their support too. We are all in this together. "Restoring the world's oldest football club to its former glories is going to deliver substantial benefits to the regional economy. "All local businesses – from the major international organisations, universities and local authorities, though to small family businesses – have employees who support Notts County and business employers need to reflect that with tangible support for Notts." Notts County have launched a sponsorship package which allows firms to sponsor the team shirt on a month-by-month basis. The club's association with Ladbrokes has now ended, and Magpies owner Alan Hardy is eager for the companies sponsoring the top to have a presence in Nottingham. According to the Nottingham Post, law firm Eversheds and accountancy firm Baldwins have already signed up, while Hardy's Paragon will sponsor the shirts for the cup matches. "It would have been easy for us to tout ourselves with a big national firm, but our ethos as a football club has always been about the community," Hardy said. "We want them to have a presence in the city so people can relate to them and as a club we feel it's vitally important for us to engage with the local business sector. "The response we have had so far has been fantastic because I think businesses realise the mass brand exposure they can generate from being associated with us. "There are obvious other benefits too because those that do take up the opportunity will also enjoy unrivalled access to the football club."
