<p>
	Notts County's season continues to go from bad to worse as Exeter City came to Meadow Lane and left with a 4-1 win, the Magpies defence being torn apart time and time again.
</p>

<p>
	The Grecians took the lead after just seven minutes when a cross was floated expertly into the path of Jayden Stockley, who nodded past Scott Loach to make it 1-0.
</p>

<p>
	Groans came from the Notts faithful as it appeared to be more of the same, but the Magpies worked their way back into the game as Liam Noble came close twice 25 minutes in.
</p>

<p>
	County’s scoring duck was finally broken 35 minutes in, when Jon Stead’s cross was smashed home by Izale McLeod at the second attempt to pull his side level.
</p>

<p>
	The hosts began the second half well enough, with Stead rattling the bar with a 20-yard shot, but by the midway point of the second half Exeter were in front again, with substitue Jake Taylor racing clear and slotting under Loach.
</p>

<p>
	Jamie Fullarton's side collapsed thereafter, as Christian Ribeiro added a third and nearly scored again a minute after kickoff, and the rout was confirmed with a fourth Grecian goal from Ollie Watkins.

<p>
	Another matchday, another defeat for Notts, this time away to a resurgent Yeovil Town side who claimed a 1-0 win over the freefalling Magpies on Saturday.
</p>

<p>
	The visitors enjoyed a bright start to the game at Huish Park, with Curtis Thompson firing just wide of the left hand post in the seventh minute.
</p>

<p>
	Moments later, Liam Noble's well-worked low corner found skipper Jon Stead, but his shot was blocked on the line before being scrambled clear.
</p>

<p>
	Yeovil then piled forward and forced a save from Scott Loach in the 10th minute before Mark Laird blasted wide three minutes later.
</p>

<p>
	A lull then took place with both sides battling in midfield, but in the 27th minute Adam Campbell's pass to Stead was fired towards goal but blocked on the six-yard line.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies ended the half strongly, with Stead once again pushing forward and threatening with a shot four minutes from the break, but ultimately neither side could break the deadlock come the referee's whistle.
</p>

<p>
	This all changed three minutes after the restart, as former Notts striker Francois Zoko connected onto Ryan Dickson's cross to head the ball past Loach and into the net to put the Glovers a goal ahead.
</p>

<p>
	Jamie Fullarton had his goalkeeper to thank for keeping the scoreline down with a succession of brilliant saves, including to thwart Leroy Lita's 76th-minute penalty following an alleged handball in the Magpies box.
</p>

<p>
	Notts pressed on a number of occasions and came close through Stead, Noble and Campbell, but Yeovil were clearly the better side and, were it not for Loach's saves and some lacklustre finishing, would have finished the game multiple goals to the good.
</p>

<p>
	Notts County have slumped to a new low by putting in a diabolical second-half performance in their League Two clash against Bristol Rovers and end up on the receiving end of a 2-0 defeat.
</p>

<p>
	Just one minute of the Meadow Lane clash had elapsed when Gas man Liam Lawrence suffered an injury and had to be replaced by former Magpies loanee Cristian Montano.
</p>

<p>
	The first concrete chance of the game fell to Jason Banton, who cut inside onto his right foot and curled a shot just past the far post.
</p>

<p>
	Notts came close again in the 24th minute when Banton managed to beat his man and send a low cross into the six-yard box, where Atkinson came within inches of getting to the ball in a perfect position.
</p>

<p>
	Jamie Fullarton's charges continued to dig deep and just after the half-hour mark Jon Stead's ball into the six-yard was just too fast for the in-sliding Izale McLeod.
</p>

<p>
	The Pirates, however, would end the first half in front because, just a minute before half time, Montano skinned Atkinson before firing the ball past Scott Loach.
</p>

<p>
	Lee Brown then doubled Rovers’ lead soon after the restart by collecting Chris Lines’ corner kick on the edge of the area before planting a left-foot shot past Loach from 20 yards out
</p>

<p>
	Notts fans had seen enough, and a number of individuals in the Kop soon unfurled a 'Fullarton Out' banner and raised a chorus of "get out of our club".
</p>

<p>
	On the pitch, McLeod headed a good chance wide from an Adam Campbell cross before the pair were replaced by Fullarton in a bid to claw a way back into the game.
</p>

<p>
	At the other end, meanwhile, Loach palmed a Jermaine Easter effort away before coming out on top in a one-on-one, while full-back Blair Adams also cleared another attempt off the goal-line.
</p>

<p>
	Notts County fell to their third defeat in a row on Saturday as Plymouth Argyle's Graham Carey struck the only goal in their League Two fixture to secure all three points at Home Park and leave the Magpies empty-handed on the long trip back to Nottingham.
</p>

<p>
	Neither team was able to muster a proper chance until around 13 minutes in, when Jason Banton’s low driven cross fell to Jon Stead, who had a pot shot, but Hartley cleared the effort off the line.
</p>

<p>
	After Stead’s effort, both sides continued to go through the motions, but in the last five minutes of the half, Notts weighed in with two dangerous chances.
</p>

<p>
	First Elliott Hewitt let rip with a shot that Luke McCormick had to backpedal to palm away, then Adam Campbell fired just wide of the back post following Rob Milsom’s sumptuous through ball.
</p>

<p>
	The half-time whistle saw both sides go in level at the break, but just three minutes after the restart Carey pounced onto a loose ball in the box and drilled past Roy Carroll to put the Pilgrims ahead.
</p>

<p>
	Notts countered through a curling effort from Stead that sailed over the bar, before Oscar Threlkeld had a glorious opportunity to make it 2-0 to Plymouth, but scuffed his shot wide.
</p>

<p>
	Just before the hour Notts were in panic mode again after losing possession and allowing Craig Tanner to break quickly, but Carroll dived to his left and made the save.
</p>

<p>
	At the other end, Blair Adams forced a great save from McCormick after a pull-back by Ronan Murray, but despite two corners, his side was unable to make anything of it.
</p>

<p>
	Despite seven minutes of injury time at the end of the game, Plymouth were able to hold onto the win and secure all three points.

<p>
	It is goalless at half time in the League Two clash between Plymouth Argyle and Notts County at Home Park.
</p>

<p>
	The first foray of the game fell to Argyle, as Craig Tanner headed straight at Roy Carroll in the opening minute of the match.
</p>

<p>
	Jamie Fullarton’s charges then countered through Jason Banton and Blair Adams down the left wing and made some headway in the opposition half.
</p>

<p>
	Neither team was able to muster a proper chance until around 13 minutes in, when Banton’s low driven cross fell to Jon Stead, who had a pot shot, but Hartley cleared the effort off the line.

	<span style="font-size: 1.3rem; line-height: 1.6;">Notts County battled bravely in the second half of their League Two game at Accrington Stanley but could not undo the damage from the first half as the match ended 3-2 to John Coleman's side.</span>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Just eight minutes later Stanley doubled their lead, with a cross from the right falling kindly to Romuald Boco, who made no mistake with an unmarked header.
</p>

<p>
	It looked like game over just after the restart as Boco added a third after a long ball forward was flicked on and prompted a calamitous mix-up in the Notts back line – the Benin international looped it over Carroll and rifled home on the line.
</p>

<p>
	Jamie Fullarton’s charges, however, were able to get onto the scoresheet when substitute Ronan Murray got onto the ball and made the most of indecision from the Stanley back line to slot home comfortably.
</p>

<p>
	With just ten minutes to go, the hosts were made to sweat as Notts struck again, this time through Adam Campbell, another sub, as he lashed in from the edge of the box.
</p>

<p>
	However, it proved too little too late as Stanley were able to withstand their opponents and clinch all three points come the final whistle.

<p>

<p>
	So much for “showing off their progress” – Notts County may have clinched three wins on the road under new manager Jamie Fullarton, but in front of their own fans they once again came up short, this time in a 1-0 defeat to Leyton Orient.
</p>

<p>
	The hosts threatened through Curtis Thompson but his teasing cross just evaded his side’s forwards early on, while Jason Banton, making his Meadow Lane debut, also flashed in a number of balls into – and through – the box, to no avail.
</p>

<p>
	The visitors had their first effort on goal midway through the half but Armand Gnanduillet’s cross-shot lacked power and was easily held by veteran goalkeeper Roy Carroll.
</p>

<p>
	Jay Simpson then had an opportunity from a Sammy Moore cross but his header looped up safely into the arms of Carroll, and Shaun Brisley went close with a header towards the end of the half but Jon Stead managed to block the ball.
</p>

<p>
	With neither side opening the scoring in the first half, Notts began brightly after the restart, with Alan Smith blasting wide from distance and Liam Noble testing Alex Cisak, also from range.
</p>

<p>
	Orient, however, were soon back on the front foot and made the breakthrough in the 76th minute when Baudry’s shot was blocked and Brisley poked the ball home after an almighty scramble in the penalty area.
</p>

<p>
	The Kop faithful soon began voicing their bemusement at what they were witnessing, with Fullarton coming under fire for his tactics and shyness when it came to substitutions – not making any changes until the 78th minute.
</p>

<p>
	As the game ebbed to a close, four minutes of injury time were announced, but the closest Notts came was a Stead header over as the visitors clinched all three points.

<p>
	Notts County surged into a two-goal half time lead against Hartlepool, relinquished it, and went on to win 3-2 in a topsy-turvy League Two clash at Victoria Park - Jamie Fullarton's third away win, and third victory in his five games so far.
</p>

<p>
	Just four minutes of the first half passed when Jon Stead stole the ball in midfield, powered down the pitch and nonchalantly lashed the ball from range into the top corner of the net.
</p>

<p>
	The hosts attempted to mount a fightback in the ensuing minutes, Michael Woods attempting a drive from long range which flew well over Roy Carroll's bar.
</p>

<p>
	In the 13th minute, however, the Magpies were two goals to the good, with Elliott Hewitt's cross just out of Izale McLeod's range but landing perfectly to Liam Noble, who slotted home to send the visiting fans into a frenzy.
</p>

<p>
	Hartlepool lost their shape after that and found themselves on the receiving end of a number of Notts forays forward, Jason Banton twice coming close to adding a third for his side.
</p>

<p>
	As the first half ebbed to a close, Craig Hignett's charges enjoyed more fruitful chances as Luke James came close to edging his side back with a shot from within the Magpies box, but Carroll was able to pull off a smart save and keep his side two goals up.
</p>

<p>
	It proved a similar story after the restart as Notts continued to plug away at the Pools goal, with Noble’s deflected 50th-minute shot edging just the wrong side of the post.
</p>

<p>
	The hosts, however, picked themselves up and halved the deficit just after the hour, courtesy of Jake Gray’s shot from the inside right channel which flew past Carroll, off the far post and into the net.
</p>

<p>
	Just four minutes later they were level as Nathan Thomas found space on the left and whipped a low ball across, which Billy Paynter finished off.
</p>

<p>
	As the game edged into the latter stages, Notts surprised everyone in the crowd by suddenly taking the lead again, a corner falling to a dumbfounded Stead, whose header looped into an unmarked net.
</p>

<p>
	A shocking five minutes of injury time were announced at the end of the game and Notts were forced to withstand a barrage of Pools attacks, Thomas rifling just wide of Carroll's post, but Jamie Fullarton's charges were able to secure all three points.
</p>

<p>
	Notts County have taken a barnstorming 2-0 half time lead against Hartlepool United in Tuesday's League Two clash at Victoria Park.
</p>

<p>
	Just four minutes passed when Jon Stead stole the ball in midfield, powered down the pitch and nonchalantly lashed the ball from range into the top corner of the net.
</p>

<p>
	The hosts attempted to mount a fightback in the ensuing minutes, Michael Woods attempting a drive from long range which flew well over Roy Carroll's bar.
</p>

<p>
	In the 13th minute, however, the Magpies were two goals to the good, with Elliott Hewitt's cross just out of Izale McLeod's range but landing perfectly to Liam Noble, who slotted home to send the visiting fans into a frenzy.
</p>

<p>
	Hartlepool lost their shape after that and found themselves on the receiving end of a number of Notts forays forward, Jason Banton twice coming close to adding a third for his side.
</p>

<p>
	As the first half ebbed to a close, Craig Hignett's charges enjoyed more fruitful chances as Luke James came close to edging his side back with a shot from within the Magpies box, but Carroll was able to pull off a smart save and keep his side two goals up.

<p>
	Struggling York City have secured a 2-1 against Notts County in today's League Two match at Bootham Crescent.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies, buoyed from having won both away games under new manager Jamie Fullarton and with new man Jason Banton in their starting XI ahead of the game, started brightly and notched up eight corners in the first 20 minutes alone.
</p>

<p>
	York, however, struck unexpectedly midway through the first half when Michael Coulson caught Roy Carroll off his line and struck a ball goalwards which looped over the stranded Notts keeper and into the net.
</p>

<p>
	Fullarton's charges set about trying to get back into the game and forced another corner as the Minstermen continued being under the cosh, but the hosts grew with confidence and struck again seven minutes before the break, a well-worked move finished off by Bradley Fewster from three yards out.
</p>

<p>
	The second half began in a sloppy manner, with York winning their first corner of the game 48 minutes in, but Jon Stead came close two minutes later with a turn and shot on the edge of the box that whistled past the far post.
</p>

<p>
	Notts laboured against their opponents without really making any breakthrough, but just after the hour they were given a lifeline when, under pressure from Stead, Lubo Satka looped a header over Scott Flinders and into the Minstermen net.
</p>

<p>
	The hosts, however, were able to weather the storm without too much difficulty, despite Notts’s continued accruing of corners, and so the full time whistle saw York clinch all three points.

	York City have taken a 2-0 half-time lead against Notts County in today's League Two match at Bootham Crescent, both goals coming largely against the run of play.

<p>
	Another matchday, another gambit of emotions for Notts County fans. First came relief with a solid yet unspectacular win at Crawley. Then despair with a poor performance against AFC Wimbledon.
</p>

<p>
	And now, delight as the Magpies clinch an impressive 2-0 win away at Luton Town, with former Notts star Alan Sheehan opening the scoring with an own goal before Jon Stead wrapped up all three points with a fantastic solo strike.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies began the half brightly and piled on the pressure onto their opponents with a succession of set pieces, but the Hatters then upped their game and forced a number of corners, though Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu volleyed over the bar in the 18th minute.
</p>

<p>
	The Hatters succeeded in getting the back into the back of the net on the half-hour mark, but Cameron McGeehan handled the ball in the build-up and accrued a booking for his troubles.
</p>

<p>
	The first half ended with both sides on the attack, as Stead was denied by Elliot Justham and moments later lashed a daisy cutter wide, and at the other end Ruddock Mpanzu had arguably one of the best chances to open the scoring when he was clean through on goal but failed to find the back of the net.
</p>

<p>
	It was a case of backs to the wall for Notts after the restart as Luton were quick off the starting blocks and maintained a good spell of pressure, although Elliott Hewitt very nearly scored from a 50-yard free kick after spotting Justham off his line.
</p>

<p>
	Just before the hour, however, Notts surged into the lead, and it was a bit of a “script moment” as a Magpie surge down the Hatters right was followed up by an effort from Wes Atkinson, which took a hefty deflection off none other than Sheehan before dropping into the net.
</p>

<p>
	Jamie Fullarton’s charges were invigorated after the opening goal, though they still had to watch out when Joe Pigott lined up a shot on the edge of the box, but Haydn Hollis was on hand to block before Carroll claimed.
</p>

<p>
	Midway through the second half it got even better for Notts as Stead picked up the ball in midfield and drove at the Luton defence single-handed before slotting underneath Justham for his side’s second goal.
</p>

<p>
	The win at Kenilworth Road is Notts County's second win in three games and only the third away win of the season, while Fullarton's away record reads two played, two won, three scored and zero conceded.

<p>
	It is goalless between Luton Town and Notts County at the halfway point of Saturday’s League Two clash at Kenilworth Road.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies began the half brightly and piled on the pressure onto their opponents with a succession of set pieces.
</p>

<p>
	On the whole, the first quarter of an hour or so proved relatively scrappy, before the Hatters upped their game and forced a number of corners, though Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu volleyed over the bar in the 18th minute.
</p>

<p>
	The game opened up around and past the midway point, with Ruddock Mpanzu scuffing an effort wide 23 minutes in before drawing a save from Roy Carroll five minutes later.
</p>

<p>
	In between the 22-year-old's chances, Izale McLeod shanked a shot over the Luton bar after being put through by Jon Stead.
</p>

<p>
	The Hatters succeeded in getting the back into the back of the net on the half-hour mark, but Cameron McGeehan handled the ball in the build-up and accrued a booking for his troubles.
</p>

<p>
	Notts continued to repel the hosts’ attacks but there was panic when Craig Mackail-Smith got the better of two defenders as he marauded down the pitch, although his 30-yard effort was ultimately stopped by Carroll.
</p>

<p>
	More tenacious play was to follow from Mackail-Smith in the 39th minute, this time down the left, as he got the ball over to McGeehan, who couldn’t get his shot away.
</p>

<p>
	The half ended with both sides on the attack, as Stead was denied by goalkeeper Elliot Justham and moments later lashed a daisy cutter wide, and at the other end Ruddock Mpanzu had arguably one of the best chances to open the scoring when he was clean through on goal but failed to find the back of the net.

<p>
	Jamie Fullarton’s reign as Notts County manager has got off to the best possible start as he masterminded a 1-0 win away at Crawley Town, courtesy of a stunning volley from Filip Valencic, who made his full debut for the Magpies on Saturday.
</p>

<p>
	In one fell swoop the former Nottingham Forest head of development righted a number of wrongs present under former manager Ricardo Moniz – that is, an away win (the first since the opening weekend of the season, over five months ago), a clean sheet (the first since our goalless draw with Bristol Rovers in October), a strong defensive performance, and a goal from a player that barely featured under the Dutchman.
</p>

<p>
	The Reds started brightly with Matt Harrold surprising Roy Carroll with a shot inside a minute, which the goalkeeper fumbled. Gavin Tomlin was then unlucky to have his shot from a tight angle on the right tipped over the bar, as the home team looked to make an early impact.
</p>

<p>
	It was all Crawley in the opening half an hour, but Notts maintained their composure at the back as their opponents proved lacklustre in front of goal, although Ronan Murray had to come to the rescue when he cleared Sonny Bradley's header off the line.
</p>

<p>
	County regrouped in the second half and went on to take the lead after 63 minutes when Jon Stead found Valencic, who did not wait for a second invitation and volleyed past the diving Darryl Flahavan.
</p>

<p>
	The visitors became increasingly desperate in the latter stages as they bid to get something out of the game, but Notts remained strong and steady at the back as they run the clock down until the final whistle, which was met with jubilation by the players and the travelling fans.

<p>
	Notts County showed flashes of class interspersed with sloppy play in their League Two match against Oxford United, but looked set for a point until two late goals condemned them to a 4-2 defeat at Meadow Lane.
</p>

<p>
	Michael Appleton's side could have gone ahead early on, but Roy Carroll kept Chris Maguire at bay with an excellent save.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies worked their way into the game and, near the stroke of half time, found themselves in a good position on the edge of the U’s box, but referee Carl Boyeson stood in the way of the ball, allowing the visitors to break.
</p>

<p>
	At the other end Liam Sercombe burst into the box and was hauled down by Roy Carroll, prompting the ref to award Oxford a penalty, which Sercombe himself converted.
</p>

<p>
	George Baldock hit the post for the visitors early in the second half, before the Magpies – who sacked previous manager Ricardo Moniz on Tuesday – drew level when Jon Stead powered in Stanley Aborah's free-kick.
</p>

<p>
	Notts then sent their home faithful into a frenzy with 15 minutes left on the clock when Curtis Thompson lashed in superbly following a wonderful lay-off by Stead to edge into the lead.
</p>

<p>
	Unfortunately Oxford equalised almost instantly, as Alex MacDonald slotted home from close range in after the hosts failed to deal with a corner.
</p>

<p>
	Just as it seemed like the hosts would hang on to at least a point, the 90th minute saw a draw cruelly snatched away from Notts when Callum O'Dowda fired past Carroll, prompting several of the Magpie players to slump onto the ground in shock and frustration.
</p>

<p>
	And just a minute later, the hosts were wounded again as their decision to commit men forward prompted the U’s to slice through their defence and score again, this time through Kemar Roofe.
</p>

<p>
	Izale McLeod was the saviour for Notts County on Monday afternoon as his brace secured a point in a 2-2 draw against Morecambe in their League Two meeting at Meadow Lane.
</p>

<p>
	Defence has not been a strong point for Ricardo Moniz’s side in recent months, and this weakness was exposed once again as, just eight minutes in, Jamie Devitt picked up the ball and played a defence-splitting pass into the path of Shaun Miller, the striker making no mistake as he put the ball into the empty net from a tight angle.
</p>

<p>
	After twenty-one minutes played, it was to get even worse for the Magpies as Miller outpaced defender Theirry Audel, who brought him down in the penalty area and conceded a spot-kick which the Shrimpers forward took himself.
</p>

<p>
	Carroll managed to parry his shot but Kevin Ellison - who had already hit the crossbar with a shot after five minutes - was quicker to react than anybody else and smashed the ball into the net to put the visitors two goals to the good.
</p>

<p>
	With the home crowd increasingly on their side’s back, County started to press and won several corners before McLeod found himself one-on-one with the visiting goalkeeper after 37 minutes and tried to lob the ball over him – Barry Roche collected it comfortably, however.
</p>

<p>
	Nevertheless the former Crawley striker atoned for his error when he managed to beat Roche with a volley from a cross in the dying moments of the first half, getting his side back in the game and giving them the chance to mount a concrete comeback after the restart.
</p>

<p>
	With just after an hour played, McLeod sent Meadow Lane barmy after Thierry Audel rose highest to meet a corner and sending his header goalwards, before it was flicked home by his attacking teammate from close range to complete the comeback.
</p>

<p>
	Having come back from the brink, the hosts went in search of a winner, Roche beating away Jon Stead’s first-time shot after a flowing move 20 minutes from time before Graham Burke fired a shot into the side netting.
</p>

<p>
	Ultimately, Notts couldn’t maintain the attacking momentum and strike a winner, giving them a share of the points at the final whistle as the pressure continues to mount on Moniz.

<p>
	One step forward, two steps back. Notts County’s exhilarating win against Newport last week and a decent away point at Wycombe in midweek were quickly forgotten as the Magpies were picked apart by Carlisle United at stand-in ground Deepdale, home of Preston North End, in a 3-0 defeat.
</p>

<p>
	The disappointment began early for the black and white faithful as, just five minutes in, Jason Kennedy was upended by Graham Burke in the box to gift the designated hosts a penalty, which captain Danny Grainger thumped down the middle to give his side the lead.
</p>

<p>
	Jabo Ibehre, the Cumbrians’ biggest threat with 10 goals in 13 games prior to kickoff, doubled their lead shortly before half-time, converting an easy volley when unmarked after Michael Raynes had helped on a Mark Ellis long throw.
</p>

<p>
	Carlisle stepped up the pressure after the restart as Mike Edwards, who played for the day’s opponents in between spells at Notts, made a vital close-range block as Ibehre looked certain to score during a heavy spell of pressure.
</p>

<p>
	The visitors almost grabbed an equaliser through Burke, but his 20-yard shot hit the post, and moments later, Mark Gillespie made a fine save to keep out Jon Stead's header.
</p>

<p>
	The big frontman then grabbed his 14th goal of the season in the 59th minute, lashing home from 12 yards after the Magpies defence had failed to deal with Grainger's cross, and killed off the game as the Carlisle fans celebrated a comprehensive win.

<p>
	Notts County twice took the lead against Wycombe Wanderers in Tuesday's League Two clash at Adams Park, but were pegged back twice following Liam Noble's sending off to leave them travelling back to Nottingham with a point following the 2-2 draw.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies were ahead inside eight minutes after Adam Campbell was tripped in the box by Aaron Pierre, prompting the referee to award a penalty, and Jon Stead coolly converted from the spot.
</p>

<p>
	The visitors were then reduced to 10 men shortly before the break when Noble clashed with Luke O'Nien off the ball and was given a straight red card - his second of the season and fifth in just over a year.
</p>

<p>
	The Chairboys took advantage minutes before half time as winger Michael Harriman placed a glancing header beyond Roy Carroll after Paul Hayes had picked him out with a pinpoint cross from the left.
</p>

<p>
	Ricardo Moniz's charges, however, restored their lead after the restart when Rob Milsom's low cross found Campbell who steered the ball past Matt Ingram to shock the ever-improving hosts.
</p>

<p>
	Wycombe levelled on the hour mark as Sam Wood's cross, following Campbell's ball loss in midfield, found Aaron Amadi-Holloway, whose header looped over Carroll and into the net to deny the Magpies their first away win since the opening day of the season.
