<p>
	Notts County duo Shaun Brisley and Nicky Hunt paid a visit to Westglade Primary School in Nottingham as part of the Football In The Community-delivered scheme Premier League Primary Stars project.
</p>

<p>
	The defenders were enthusiastically quizzed by the school's children about their career in the game, and also joined in a game of handball.
</p>

<p>
	The Premier League Primary Stars project uses the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.
</p>

<p>
	As well as engaging children in physical activity and healthy living, PLPS uses the power of the beautiful game to teach core subjects such as Maths, English, PE and PSHE (personal, social, health and economic education).
</p>

<p>
	Hunt told the <a href="http://nottscountyfitc.org.uk/defensive-duo-nicky-hunt-shaun-brisley-visit-premier-league-primary-stars-project/" rel="external nofollow">FITC website</a> of their visit to Westglade in early December: “The power of football is incomprehensible to young boys and girls at their age.
</p>

<p>
	"Myself, Shaun and the boys are happy to put our names to such a great activities that are proving to be really positive.
</p>

<p>
	"To see the work FITC are doing with primary school aged children has been brilliant and a real credit to the club and the charity.”
</p>

<p>
	Tom Curson, Education Officer and Premier League Primary Stars delivery team member, spoke with pride at how Westglade Primary have benefited from the scheme, saying: “The children I see every week have been a joy to teach.
</p>

<p>
	"The feedback myself and FITC have received from both the children and the staff has been phenomenal and even if we play a small part in the development of these children it would all be worth it.
</p>

<p>
	"Their numeracy and English have seen huge improvements and we look forward to seeing them again in the New Year.”

<p>
	Alan Hardy has revealed that Notts County are plotting a "marquee signing" in January.
</p>

<p>
	The transfer window will open at the start of next month, leading to speculation as to who the Magpies will seek to recruit in a bid to remain in the League Two promotion hunt.
</p>

<p>
	Although Notts are "in a really good place" at present and Kevin Nolan has faith in his current squad, the chairman gave an update about two enquiries being rejected so far and
</p>

<p>
	“We are in a really good place and the gaffer is not in a mad rush to make signings,” Hardy told the Nottingham Post.
</p>

<p>
	“He is convinced that, with the squad we have got, it is good enough to get promoted.
</p>

<p>
	“However, we are looking for that one special player and he has to be able to come straight into the first team.
</p>

<p>
	“We have made two enquiries this week and both of those were rejected. We won’t be going back in for them. The door has been closed and we move on.
</p>

<p>
	“If that marquee signing does come off then it will be very late in the window.”

<p>
	Notts County assistant manager Richard Thomas has confirmed that goalkeeper Adam Collin has returned to full training.
</p>

<p>
	The 33-year-old has been sidelined for two months after suffering ligament damage in October's 2-1 win over Barnet.
</p>

<p>
	Collin limped off in the second half of the match after taking a blow to the knee and was replaced by Ross Fitzsimons, who has done an admirable job in between the sticks ever since.
</p>

<p>
	However, Notts have been boosted by their first-choice keeper's return to fitness, although Thomas suggested that he won't be rushed back into action just yet.
</p>

<p>
	“Adam is back to full training now,” Thomas told the Nottingham Post.
</p>

<p>
	“We are managing his load in the sessions when we are taking him out momentarily. We’ve just got to manage him back in now.
</p>

<p>
	“It’s aerobic fitness that’s important rather than the knee so much because fitness can fall off when you are out injured.
</p>

<p>
	“It’s just that side of it but he’s moving well. He looks like he’s never been away if I am honest. The lads are clearly pleased to have him back around the place so it’s all good.”

<p>
	Notts County assistant manager Richard Thomas has urged caution against a Cambridge United who come to Meadow Lane in poor form.
</p>

<p>
	The U's, managed by former Magpies boss Shaun Derry, come into this weekend's match 13th in the table on the back of three straight defeats.
</p>

<p>
	Thomas, however, believes Cambridge's bad form has been more a case of bad luck and missing key players, but expects them to be more dangerous than their current status.
</p>

<p>
	"I've been to watch Cambridge a couple of times this season and they're a really good side," Thomas told the official Notts site. "I think their league position belies what they offer.
</p>

<p>
	"They might have underachieved, but with Cambridge I think it's to do with availability of key players through suspension or injury.
</p>

<p>
	"It looks like they haven't been able to put out their top individuals consistently, which is why they might have stumbled to this point.
</p>

<p>
	"But we're only halfway and they're absolutely a team that can put a good run together post-Christmas and be right up there.
</p>

<p>
	"There are no doubts about what they can do but, after their recent results, they might come here and look to protect and keep the game tight.
</p>

<p>
	"They might also come right out of the blocks and get at us. You've got to prepare for every eventuality."

</p>

<p>

<p>
	- Yet more Cambridge news as Derry confirmed that coach Mick Halsall has left the Abbey Stadium to join Coventry City.
</p>

<p>

<p>
	Kevin Nolan has spoken highly of the improvement in Notts County's defensive play, as highlighted by their clean sheet against Grimsby Town at the weekend.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies recorded their first shutout since the 3-0 win against Newport County in October, with Ross Fitzsimons also playing his part with a smart save from Jamille Matt in the first half.
</p>

<p>
	Although Notts have conceded goals in recent weeks, the last team to register more than five shots on target in a league game was Carlisle United back in October.
</p>

<p>
	“We are clearing up at the back and you can see their desire to defend,” Nolan told the Nottingham Post. “They are a really good unit and they are working their socks off for each other.
</p>

<p>
	“We were delighted with the clean sheet against Grimsby and hopefully this gives us a base to start on.
</p>

<p>
	“If you keep a clean sheet then it’s only one goal that’s required to win the game. We have goals all over the pitch and we know it can come at any time.”

<p>
	Notts County manager Kevin Nolan is expecting a tough game on Saturday when Shaun Derry's Cambridge United visit Meadow Lane for their League Two clash.
</p>

<p>
	The former Magpies youth product returned to NG2 as manager in November 2013 and helped conjure up the Great Escape at the end of that season.
</p>

<p>
	However, Derry was sacked in March 2015 and has since taken over at Cambridge where the U's are six points off the top seven.
</p>

<p>
	“We’ve got a tough one coming up against Cambridge,” Nolan told the Nottingham Post. "They lost on Saturday but they will come here and respect us.
</p>

<p>
	“Shaun Derry will be coming back and I am sure he will be wanting to prove people wrong here.
</p>

<p>
	"He’s got a lot of people who think he was unfortunate to lose his job during the time he was here.
</p>

<p>
	“For me, it’s about making sure we are at it all week. It’s at home, it’s the next game and we are looking to get back to winning ways.”

<p>
	Matt Tootle has expressed his pride with Notts County's impressive home form this year and believes Meadow Lane can truly be deemed a fortress.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies could end the year with just one defeat at home in the league, depending on how they get on with Shaun Derry's Cambridge United this Saturday.
</p>

<p>
	County's home record is the best outside the Premier League, testament to the improvements made by Kevin Nolan and Alan Hardy.
</p>

<p>
	“When I signed in 2016 I came in and said this place should be a fortress,” he said.
</p>

<p>
	“It wasn’t for six months, but then the gaffer came in, and straight away he said we would turn Meadow Lane into a place where other teams won’t get anything.
</p>

<p>
	“He made that clear. The only team this year to have got a result in the league was Portsmouth and they were the champions of League Two last season. That says it all and about how well we have done.
</p>

<p>
	“It is a great achievement. It’s a credit to us and it’s just a shame we lost one because I have OCD and I would have liked it to have been zero.”

<p>
	Russell Slade has hailed his Grimsby Town charges for claiming a <a href="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/home/reports/match-report-notts-county-held-to-goalless-draw-by-grimsby-town-r2208/" rel="">goalless draw</a> against a "relentless" Notts County side and suggested that the visitors could have even gone on to win the game.
</p>

<p>
	Neither side could break the deadlock at Meadow Lane, although the Mariners arguably had the best chance of the game as Jamille Matt forced a great save from Ross Fitzsimons during the first half.
</p>

<p>
	"I thought we started the game really well and that's what we were searching for because we've been on the front foot recently," Slade told the official Grimsby site. "I thought we did really well.
</p>

<p>
	"At the end of the half Notts County were showing why they're in the mix because they came back into the game but again we started the second half well and matched them and you know, I thought we could've won it and had the best chance overall.
</p>

<p>
	"But overall I thought we matched them in most areas, we've put a little marker down and it was a step forward from my point of view.
</p>

<p>
	"The whole team defended well. You have to against a Notts County side that do basics eight and are relentless, look for free kicks and corners and try and get the ball wide and into the box so you've got to do all those things well.
</p>

<p>
	"It was two teams that were trying to competive for everything whatever we were trying to do and sometimes there were free kicks one way and then the other but it makes it dificult for a referee to be fair."

<p>
	Kevin Nolan has stressed that Notts County will not be able to "run riot over teams week in, week out" at Meadow Lane after Grimsby Town held the hosts to a <a href="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/home/reports/match-report-notts-county-held-to-goalless-draw-by-grimsby-town-r2208/" rel="">goalless draw</a> at the weekend.
</p>

<p>
	In a game of few genuine chances, the Magpies failed to muster a single shot on target against a Mariners side that defended well and had the best chance of the encounter through Jamille Matt.
</p>

<p>
	The result sees Notts still in second, four points ahead of third-placed Exeter City, but with Luton winning 2-0 at Forest Green Rovers, the gap between first and second is now two points.
</p>

<p>
	It was also the first time that Nolan's side have failed to score since the 2-0 defeat at Crewe Alexandra in October.
</p>

<p>
	"We respect the point and the clean sheet, which I'm delighted about," he told the Nottingham Post. "We looked good defensively. We gave them an opportunity in the first half but we looked in control.
</p>

<p>
	"Grimsby came here on the back of three wins so we had to show them the respect they deserved. You're not going to run riot over teams week in, week out when you're at home - we have to earn it.
</p>

<p>
	"The lads did all the right things out of possession but in possession we weren't as good as we have been lately.
</p>

<p>
	"It told because we weren't able to mount that pressure on them and show our quality in the final third."

<p>
	Matt Tootle has praised Ross Fitzsimons following the goalkeeper's performance in the <a href="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/home/reports/match-report-notts-county-held-to-goalless-draw-by-grimsby-town-r2208/" rel="">goalless draw with Grimsby Town</a> on Saturday.
</p>

<p>
	The former Crystal Palace stopper has proved a great replacement since coming into the team for Adam Collin, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury.
</p>

<p>
	On Saturday, the Magpies kept their first clean sheet since late October and Tootle was full of praise for the 23-year-old after giving his assessment of the draw.
</p>

<p>
	"It keeps us on a run and they're a decent side," Tootle told the official Notts site. "They've won their last three games and are one of the form sides in the league so it's not a bad point.
</p>

<p>
	"They came here to frustrate us and made it hard for us. We've got to respect the point, which is something we didn't do last year.
</p>

<p>
	"They had a couple of chances but I don't think they really threatened or put any sustained pressure on us. We weren't quite at it in the final third - it just didn't happen for us today. Hopefully we can pick up a win next weekend and it will all be fine.
</p>

<p>
	"It's nice because we haven't had a clean sheet for a while. We defended well considering the threats they have - the wide players have been good for them this season so we worked on that during the week.
</p>

<p>
	"We thwarted them well so it's a good clean sheet for the defence and the goalkeeper, who has been terrific since he came in.
</p>

<p>
	"People forget how young Ross is and that he didn't play his first EFL game until he came on against Barnet. Adam Collin will have a battle on his hands to get back in the team when he is fully fit."

<p><img src="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/uploads/monthly_2017_12/kn.JPG.93069a4cc34e359cc0de9fe20e90f13c.JPG" /></p>
<p>
	Kevin Nolan has admitted that Notts County were not their "usual selves" in their <a href="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/home/reports/match-report-notts-county-held-to-goalless-draw-by-grimsby-town-r2208/" rel="">goalless draw</a> with Grimsby Town.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies failed to break down a defensively stout Mariners side, failing to muster a chance on goal in Saturday's stalemate at Meadow Lane.
</p>

<p>
	"It was a fair result. We weren't our usual selves today," Nolan told the official Notts site.
</p>

<p>
	"It's just one of those days. You're going to have them but we've not had too many here in the past year. We huffed and puffed a lot but our ability on the ball wasn't as up to scratch as it has been.
</p>

<p>
	"We didn't create enough clear-cut chances or have enough sustained pressure so it was a job well done by Grimsby, as well as us not being at the top of our game."
</p>

<p>
	"We respect the point and the clean sheet, which I'm delighted about. We looked good defensively. We gave them an opportunity in the first half but we looked in control.
</p>

<p>
	"Grimsby have come here on the back of three wins so we had to show them the respect they deserved. You're not going to run riot over teams week in, week out when you're at home - we have to earn it.
</p>

<p>
	"The lads did all the right things out of possession but in possession we weren't as good as we have been lately. It told because we weren't able to mount that pressure on them and show our quality in the final third."

<p>
	Grimsby Town defender Ben Davies has talked about his time at Notts County under the Munto regime as the Mariners travel to Meadow Lane for a League Two meeting.
</p>

<p>
	The midfielder-turned-defender spent a year-and-a-half at NG2, during which he helped the Magpies to the fourth-tier title as a culmination of a rollercoaster period under the "ownership" of the shady entity.
</p>

<p>
	“I’ve got nothing but happy memories there,” Davies told the Grimsby Telegraph.
</p>

<p>
	“Obviously going there with Sven and all the hype that was around the place, the 18 months I spent there was just a constant high really.
</p>

<p>
	“There was a lot of money pumped into the club at that time, and we had the likes of Kasper (Schmeichel), Lee Hughes and Sol Campbell – the team was too good for the league really, and we won a lot of games 3, 4 or 5-0.
</p>

<p>
	“It was nice to get the promotion, and be playing with some of the best players I’ve played with over my career.
</p>

<p>
	“Sven was absolutely brilliant. He was at training every day, he was at every game, and he was really hands-on with it all.
</p>

<p>
	“He made it a really relaxed atmosphere, and obviously winning most weeks brings that as well.
</p>

<p>
	On Campbell’s time at Meadow Lane, Davies added: “He came and he was there for about eight weeks trying to get fit.
</p>

<p>
	“He got fit, and then he trained for about three weeks with us, and you could just tell how good he was then.
</p>

<p>
	“He played a couple of games and then got injured again. I think he was getting frustrated at that time, and we were winning games.
</p>

<p>
	“But even with him being there for just three or four months, you learned so much off him with his professionalism and the way he went about things, and obviously with Kasper as well the professionalism was taken to a new level.
</p>

<p>
	“The way things were done, it was like a Premier League club - it was just unfortunate really that they couldn’t carry it on.
</p>

<p>
	“Obviously it will be nice to go back there and see everyone, but we’ll be desperate to get the win.”

<p>
	Carl Dickinson has admitted that he truly feels Notts County will achieve promotion this season.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies currently sit second in League Two on 42 points, level with top-placed Luton Town who boast a huge +30 goal difference.
</p>

<p>
	In addition, Notts have successfully overcome blips over the course of the season and remain as focused and sharp as ever going into the festive period.
</p>

<p>
	“I was talking to my wife the other day and we were discussing the way things are going,” Dickinson told the Nottingham Post.
</p>

<p>
	“She said ‘what do you think?’. And I just said I know it’s going to happen.
</p>

<p>
	“I compare it to when I got promoted with Stoke (in 2007-08). That dressing room was the best I’ve been in.
</p>

<p>
	“But this one is so close to it that’s it’s frightening. I just have this massive feeling it is going to be our year. It’s up to us to do it, but I feel it’s going to happen.”

<p>
	Kevin Nolan has stressed that Notts County must maintain their high standards from last week's <a href="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/home/reports/match-report-notts-county-leave-luton-town-with-a-share-of-the-points-r2185/" rel="">1-1 draw at Luton Town</a> going into Saturday's encounter with Grimsby Town.
</p>

<p>
	Many had tipped the Hatters to derail the Magpies' charge at Kenilworth Road but the visitors emerged with a share of the spoils which keeps them level on points with the League Two leaders.
</p>

<p>
	Up next is a game with the Mariners at Meadow Lane and Nolan insists the momentum - and the impressive home form - must continue.
</p>

<p>
	"There is no point in going to Luton, getting a point and then putting in a shabby performance this weekend," he told the official Notts site.
</p>

<p>
	"We have to follow it up and our standards have to stay as high as they were last Saturday. If they are, we will have a fantastic opportunity to get the three points.
</p>

<p>
	"The home record we have is something I will look back on in my later years and have great pride in.
</p>

<p>
	"It's been a fantastic year since I came in and I have been delighted with the response I have got from the boys and the work that has gone on both on and off the field.
</p>

<p>
	"We have a massive 2018 coming up. We have to maintain things and not sit back and think 'We've got there.' We are always looking for extra little bits to help us better ourselves."

<p>
	What's been happening in League Two over the last week?
</p>

<p>
	Here is Pride of Nottingham's round-up of the biggest League Two news from the last seven days.
</p>

<p>
	- All 72 English Football League clubs agreed to interview at least one black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) candidate for vacant managerial or first-team coaching jobs, an arrangement that will come into force on January 1 and last until the end of next season.
</p>

<p>
	- Nathan Jones of Luton Town won November's L2 Manager of the Month award, while Forest Green Rovers striker Christian Doidge picked up the Player of the Month gong.
</p>

<p>
	- Wycombe Wanderers extended Birmingham City defender Dan Scarr's loan until the end of the season. The 22-year-old initially joined the club on loan in August until January 1, and has made 13 appearances in all competitions for the Chairboys so far.
</p>

<p>
	- Yeovil Town "categorically denied" rumours of a proposed takeover by a consortium of business leaders from the area. A statement said: "The sale of the club is not currently part of Insight's remit or the intentions of YTFC's majority shareholders."
</p>

<p>
	- Lincoln City striker Matt Rhead signed a one-year contract extension to keep him at the club until June 2019. The 33-year-old joined the Imps from Mansfield in 2015 and has 38 goals from 102 league games in his time at Sincil Bank.
</p>

<p>
	- Newport County have opened contract talks with captain Joss Labadie, who is in the final few months of his current deal having joined the Exiles from Dagenham and Redbridge in 2016.

<p>
	Notts County chairman Alan Hardy has tipped Kevin Nolan to become manager of England in the future.
</p>

<p>
	The former Leyton Orient boss has seen his stock rise since arriving at Meadow Lane a year ago, leaving the Magpies out of relegation trouble by the end of the 2016-17 season.
</p>

<p>
	Since then, Notts have risen to second place in League Two on goal difference, having held top spot on several occasions, and have the best home record outside of the Premier League in 2017.
</p>

<p>
	Nolan also scooped the manager of the month award for September and won another nomination for Notts’ results in November.
</p>

<p>
	“I’ve often spoken of my admiration for Kevin as both a person and a manager,” Hardy told the Nottingham Post.
</p>

<p>
	"What he has done here, in such a short space of time, has been nothing short of remarkable.
</p>

<p>
	“What he and the players have achieved has surpassed all of our expectations and the progress has been remarkable.
</p>

<p>
	“I’ve no doubt in my mind that Kevin will go on to manage at the elite level and I am certain that he will go on to manage England at some point.
</p>

<p>
	“I just think he has all the tools you need both in his ability to motivate players, the uncanny knack he has of understanding them and being able to relate to them.

<p>
	Alan Hardy has revealed his hopes of having a new training ground for Notts County ready by January 2019.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies owner is currently in negotiations with three parties over the potential site of the state-of-the-art facility and wants the plans firmly in place by next year.
</p>

<p>
	Notts currently train at Basford United's ground as part of an agreement between the two clubs, having previously been based in Ruddington and Arnold.
</p>

<p>
	“Negotiations will continue with three parties regarding location this week because, for the first time ever, I want this club to have its own dedicated facility by January 1, 2019,” Hardy told the Nottingham Post.
</p>

<p>
	“We have three options available to us that I am very carefully considering. Each is very exciting in different ways. Each has its own strengths and my job is to select the right one that builds a legacy for the future.
</p>

<p>
	“This club needs and deserves its own high performance training facility which delivers the very best that we can provide with resources available to us.
</p>

<p>
	“I’ve recently spent time at both Tottenham and Manchester City’s new facilities and while we can’t afford the enormous university style campus they have created, I have taken lots of ideas and styles from them both which has assisted me greatly.
</p>

<p>
	“This is an integral part of the blueprint I’m creating and will be our springboard for the future... going to the next level is hugely exciting and 2018 will hopefully see its realization."

<p>
	Notts County manager Kevin Nolan, assistant Richard Thomas and coach Mark Crossley observed a Nottingham Panthers training session today and sat down for a chat with head coach Corey Neilson.
</p>

<p>
	The Nottingham Post reports that Thomas had been keen to take in a Panthers practice after coming to watch a game with Crossley earlier this season.
</p>

<p>
	Neilson, Nolan and the Notts coaches spoke at length about coaching methods, similarities between ice hockey and footbal, and more.
</p>

<p>
	“I had a nice chat to them. We spoke for about an hour in my office after the training session,” Neilson told the Post.
</p>

<p>
	“We spoke about the two sports and where they overlap when it comes to philosophies and tactics, just coaching stuff really.
</p>

<p>
	“It was fun. They have great minds and some really great questions.
</p>

<p>
	“It’s always good to share ideas and you’re foolish if you aren’t learning all the time in this business. You can learn from anyone.
</p>

<p>
	“It’s not just about your sport. You can learn from all sports and they had good insights on things like motivation, training and recovery.”

<p>
	Alan Hardy has hailed Notts County's "meteoric" rise over 2017 and describes their progress as "unbelievable... even by our own expectations."
</p>

<p>
	This time last year the Magpies were freefalling towards the bottom of League Two as a losing run which eventually culminated to 10 games threatened the future of the club.
</p>

<p>
	However, Hardy's takeover of the club in January and subsequent business decisions led to steady progress which has led the club up to second in the table and a feelgood vibe around Meadow Lane.
</p>

<p>
	“To be competing against joint-top of the league is unbelievable progress even by our own expectations,” Hardy told the Nottingham Post.
</p>

<p>
	“It’s been meteoric over the last 10 months and it’s been truly wonderful to witness as we have already created some great memories.
</p>

<p>
	“The players are rising to the challenges before them and when you talk to them around the club you can just feel the confidence is getting greater.
</p>

<p>
	“You can feel their energy and it’s absolutely brilliant to see.”

<p><img src="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/uploads/monthly_2017_12/SA.jpg.7d515f04da4bbf9e0c1e20a72ca02105.jpg" /></p>
<p>
	Shola Ameobi has played down the significance of Notts County's <a href="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/home/reports/match-report-notts-county-leave-luton-town-with-a-share-of-the-points-r2185/" rel="">1-1 draw with Luton Town</a> but insists that the Magpies could still be in the hunt for automatic promotion at the end of the season if they keep up the level shown at Kenilworth Road.
</p>

<p>
	Notts are still second in the table on goal difference, level on points with the impressive Hatters following the draw in Bedfordshire, in which Ameobi scored to cancel out Johnny Mullins's opener.
</p>

<p>
	Although there are still 25 games to go, the former Newcastle United striker says the team is enjoying the way things are at present and feels they can get a result at top teams, a 180 degree switch from how things were just last year.
</p>

<p>
	“We are not getting ahead of ourselves,” Ameobi told the Nottingham Post.
</p>

<p>
	“There is a long, long way to go yet. From where we were when I first came in, to where we are now shows we’ve done a tremendous job.
</p>

<p>
	“We are enjoying it. We went to Luton determined to get the win and that shows the mentality that has changed over the last few months.
</p>

<p>
	“We’ve gone to the top teams thinking we can get a result. That’s very positive for us going forward and if we can keep this level there’s no reason why we can’t be up there at the end of the season.”

<p>
	Kevin Nolan has praised Notts County's fans for their continued "brilliant" support of the club and urged them to keep it up going into the busy festive period.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies emerged from last weekend's crunch League Two clash with Luton Town with a point in a <a href="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/home/reports/match-report-notts-county-leave-luton-town-with-a-share-of-the-points-r2185/" rel="">1-1 draw</a>, watched by 810 members of the Black and White Army.
</p>

<p>
	Up next for Notts are back-to-back home games against Grimsby Town and Cambridge United and Nolan paid tribute to the fanbase for their raucous support.
</p>

<p>
	“The fans were absolutely brilliant at Luton and I keep alluding to them because they’ve been fantastic,” he told the Nottingham Post.
</p>

<p>
	“It’s important they get behind us for the next two home games because teams are going to come and respect us.
</p>

<p>
	“We are going to have to be patient, and we need them to keep behind us and keep singing their hearts out like they did on Saturday.
</p>

<p>
	“It doesn’t half buoy the lads and get them up for it.”
</p>
