<p>
	Notts County defender Dion Kelly-Evans has agreed new terms with the magpies.
</p>

<p>
	The popular 24-year-old is the last of the remaining players offered a new deal on the back of last seasons campaign.
</p>

<p>
	Speculation had grown over his future, however, Notts has today confirmed that Kelly-Evans has agreed a new one-year-deal at Meadow Lane.
</p>

<p>
	Via the clubs official site, Ian Burchnall said: "Everyone knows what Dion’s about, he has no off switch – be it in training or in games, he brings the same level of intensity.
</p>

<p>
	"Not only that, but he’s a great lad who is keen to better himself and, with there being so much more time on the training ground this season" said the head coach.
</p>

<p>
	"I’m sure we can continue to bring him on leaps and bounds. For Dion and all the other boys to have accepted our offers speaks volumes about the positive environment we’re building here and it gives us a really strong base heading into pre-season.
</p>

<p>
	"Of course, we’re still working hard to bring new signings to the club. We’re being ambitious with our targets, which means a little extra patience is required, but we’re pleased with the progress we’re making." he added.
</p>

<p>
	In a video posted on Notts County official Twitter account, the defender address the fans by saying: "I just want to say a massive thank you for all the support you have shown me in the last two seasons. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here and it's been an absolute pleasure playing in front of you guys."
</p>

<p>
	Before adding "I've loved every single minute of it. The memories we have created together will stay with me forever, That's why I am happy to extend my stay for another year and I can't wait for you guys [the fans] to get behind me and the boys this season.
</p>

<p>
	"I am buzzing for it to get started."

<p>
	Midfielder Jim O'Brien has agreed a new two-year-deal with Notts County.
</p>

<p>
	The experienced 33-year-old is the longest-serving member of the squad, after Enzio Boldewijn's release earlier this summer.
</p>

<p>
	He arrived at Meadow Lane in January 2019, quickly becoming a firm fans favourite for his heroics and passion on the field.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking to the Notts County media team, Ian Burchnall said: "I’ve been hugely impressed with Jim’s attitude and ability since my arrival at the club, he’s got terrific energy and I think you could see how much we missed him when he picked up a couple of really unfortunate injuries towards the end of last season.
</p>

<p>
	"Importantly, he understands how we want to play which gives us continuity going into the new campaign."
</p>

<p>
	With Michael Doyle having agreed to become the magpies' assistant head coach, the extension has been described as 'providing continuity in the middle of the park'.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking about having signed a new two-year-deal, Jim O'Brien said: "I'm buzzing, really happy. Not long after the manager came in, i had a sit down with him and told him my plans that i didn't want to go anywhere,
</p>

<p>
	"I wanted to be here, so just to get it done is a bit of a weight off my shoulders." He added.
</p>

<p>
	"The two-year deal doesn't take away the fact that I'm here and your focused on the job at hand. We know where we want to go and you don't take your foot off the gas just because you've got a two-year deal.
</p>

<p>
	"I think the messages were clear in the meetings we had, get as many bodies in the box as possible. The way we play we controlled possession, it allowed me to do that. The messages we had in training, the shape, the rotations and the runs. It was all very clear towards the training."

<p>
	Notts County has confirmed the signing of centre midfielder Frank Vincent.
</p>

<p>
	The 22-year-old arrives at Meadow Lane after leaving AFC Bournemouth as a free agent, having signed a two-year-deal with the magpies.
</p>

<p>
	Vincent has played out on loan in recent seasons, having spells with Torquay United, Scunthorpe United and Walsall. The midfielder links back-up with Kyle Cameron and the pair helped The Gulls earned promotion to the National League in 2018/2019.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking to the Notts County media team, Frank Vincent said: "I'm obviously very buzzing to get the deal done, it's been a bit of an anxious few days.
</p>

<p>
	"Trying to get it all sorted but yeah just buzzing to get it over the line. Its such a big club and just can't wait to get started. I'm left-footed, I'm a midfielder. I'm a technically gifted player, I like to pass the ball, the combinations one-two's." he added
</p>

<p>
	"The way i play is the way the gaffer wants to play here, lots of possession based football, but not just that, I like to pass forward, I'm not just here to get the ball and pass it sideways.
</p>

<p>
	"I think I'm a risk taker in the right moment and yeah just looking to get the ball, pass forward, start attacks and i still haven't got a career goal so i was hoping to find that here and to find some goal scoring form here."
</p>

<p>
	Before explaining: "Obviously i knew the interest was there from Notts County for quite a while and having spoken to Ian, I've actually been to the stadium like a month ago
</p>

<p>
	"I had a good look around, had a good chat about football. His way in playing is very suited to my playing style so that was always a big factor of me wanting to come here and get this deal done."
</p>

<p>
	Notts County had tried to sign Vincent when Michael Doyle became injured having played against Hornchurch, however, the deal never materialised.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking on Frank Vincent, Notts County Head Coach Ian Burchanll said: "We’ve followed Frank’s progress closely," he explained.
</p>

<p>
	"He’s a talented player who’s had some interesting loan moves which show he’s got the hunger to play. We’ve been impressed with him. Frank can play either as a holding midfielder or as a number eight.
</p>

<p>
	"He covers ground well, he’s left-footed and a good passer of the ball. He suits the way we want to play and has been given a good education in that style at Bournemouth."

<p>
	Notts County youngster Tyreace Palmer has signed his first professional contract with the club after signing for the academy 11-years-ago.
</p>

<p>
	The 18-year-old striker has featured as part of the Notts youth team that went on to win the EFL Youth Alliance league in 2020/2021 and made his professional debut last season against Havant &amp; Waterlooville in the FA Trophy.
</p>

<p>
	Head Coach Ian Burchnall, believes that Palmer should be a part of his side after scooping the Youth Team Player of the Year, having put in good performances and a strong goalscoring record.
</p>

<p>
	Via the official website he said: "Tyreace has been at the football club for a long time now.
</p>

<p>
	"We’re pleased to give him the platform to express himself. while he’s also got a lot of development to come, I think he’s got potential as a goal scorer and being around our squad on a daily basis is only going to help him."
</p>

<p>
	The magpies offered Palmer a professional deal back on the 14th of May 2021, and yesterday the club announced that the young prospect had signed.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking on his new deal, Tyreace Palmer said: "I'm over the moon, its something I've been dreaming for since I've been at the club over 10 years, so I'm really pleased to get it over the line.
</p>

<p>
	"I've been here since I was 6 or 7 years old, i signed that young and ever since I have just progressed through the age groups and I've just managed to get my contract every year." he added.
</p>

<p>
	"I've been top goal scorer most years, for the under 18's two years in a row. I enjoy it, I love scoring, not a better feeling than scoring. The first week I came in, I was finding it a bit tough to get into the tempo and the physicality but from that I've really got to grips with it and I've really been impressed with how I've been progressed with training.
</p>

<p>
	"Before my injury I was doing really well but I will have to come back stronger in the next season. I've got a micro fracture in my knee, I've been on crutches for 4 weeks. I've got rehab to do when I come back on the 12th and hopefully I won't be too long till I'm back playing.
</p>

<p>
	"I'm hoping to go out on loan and get some men's football, get experience and hopefully do well out there, come back and be fighting for the bench or starting 11 if I can."

<p>
	Notts County has confirmed that Tiernan Brooks and Tyreace Palmer have agreed new deals.
</p>

<p>
	Brooks has already spent a season as a professional with the magpies, having signed his first professional contract ahead the 2019/2020 campaign.
</p>

<p>
	However, Palmer has reached a milestone moment after securing his first professional deal.
</p>

<p>
	Via the official Notts County site, Head coach Ian Burchnall said: “While he’s still got a lot of work to do,
</p>

<p>
	"Tiernan’s a very good goalkeeper who’s shown progression, hunger and a good attitude month-on-month. He’ll take a lot from people like Sam Slocombe and Jake Kean and hopefully we’ll continue to see him progressing this season.

<p>

<p><img src="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/uploads/monthly_2021_06/articleimage.jpg.6b40e7de7afd5149d234a2d111f8d8c2.jpg" /></p>
<p>
	Notts County ace Cal Roberts has discussed his return to football after being sidelined during last season.
</p>

<p>
	The North Shields born winger, who progressed through the Newcastle United academy has become a popular figure within the magpies ranks after leaving Blyth Spartans in January 2020.
</p>

<p>
	After returning from injury against Hartlepool United as a substitute, Roberts only lasted a few minutes before limping off. However, the midfielder has spent his time out wisely focusing on regaining strength after having an operation.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking on the official clubs' website, Head of Medical Services Marco Ferreira said: "That was the main goal and it was the decision after Hartlepool to take Cal off to prepare for the play-offs and the new season.
</p>

<p>
	"We started again from 0 building confidence and building strength, and he's back on grass so its one step closer. We will build him to where he can join the lads in pre-season."
</p>

<p>
	The 24-year-old vowed to come back stronger, after suffering on and off with injuries during the 2020/2021 National League season.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking about his return to training Cal Roberts said: "You never lose it, although you lose fitness. Yeah, it's nice to get back out but yeah like you said, I'm blown but yeah it's nice to get my legs back going again, hopefully be alright for pre-season.
</p>

<p>
	"It's obviously nice to have a bit of time back at home but I think with the season I've had I'd rather be in and get fit and it's been a really tough year.
</p>

<p>
	"I've learnt a lot about myself and I've learnt a lot about my body. Over the past 8, 9 10 months, whatever it's been sometimes I've probably pushed myself a little bit too hard when i probably should've taken a step back. So this time we'll do things when I'm ready and confident to do the next step." he added.
</p>

<p>
	"We've seen the best people possible and had one of the best surgeries around, so I'm confident its worked and through the exercise that i used to get pain on, I'm not getting the pain any more.
</p>

<p>
	"Obviously i wouldn't know till i start striking a ball which will probably be in the next couple of weeks."
</p>

<p>
	It is unclear if Roberts will feature in any of the pre-season fixtures, as Notts County Head Coach Ian Burchnall might choose to ease him into action within the league campaign.

<p>
	Notts County defender Adam Chicksen has agreed a new contract believed to be a-year-deal.
</p>

<p>
	Chicksen found himself as part of Ian Burchnall's three-man defence, where he earned praise from the magpie fans' for his display leading into the play-offs and against Chesterfield.
</p>

<p>
	The 29-year-old has put pen to paper after his previous deal expired and it is thought that the defender will be part of the head coaches plans leading into the 2021/2022 National League season.
</p>

<p>
	Via the official site, Ian Burchnall said "Adam played a huge role in our strong run into the play-offs and brings invaluable versatility to the squad, As we’ve seen, he’s comfortable in the left of a back three.
</p>

<p>
	"He can also play as a full back and wing back. He has the footballing intelligence to adapt to different systems."
</p>

<p>
	Chicksen's extension will see him fall alongside Kyle Cameron who joined earlier last week from Torquay United, Connell Rawlinson and Alex Lacey - who will all contend for the 3 defensive spaces in Ian Burchnall's team.
</p>

<p>
	Adam Chicksen said about his new deal at Meadow Lane: "I'm delighted, probably my smile tells a lot.
</p>

<p>
	"Yeah obviously the back end of the season was so enjoyable, it was so easy for me to want to stay and really happy that the club wanted me to stay and that my performances are merited a contract." he added
</p>

<p>
	"Really happy that it paid off and really happy to get it done and to get my head down and start putting in more performances.
</p>

<p>
	"Probably more belief in myself and more standards for myself"
</p>

<p>
	Before going on to say: "Just having everything put on myself and asking questions of myself, it all fell on myself,
</p>

<p>
	"I put it all to falling back on my shoulders, my standards of what i needed to do to get everyone else out of the equation. I started asking myself am i giving everything daily, in training, in games and once i started doing that it seemed to come round full circle."

<p>
	Notts County has confirmed their first summer signing as former Torquay United centre-back Kyle Cameron.
</p>

<p>
	The 24-year-old Northumberland born defender, gained first-team experience with a string on loans at York City, Newport County and Queens of the South amongst others and had become a key figure in the Torquay's defence.
</p>

<p>
	Having featured heavily in their bid to finish within the National league play-offs, he arrives at Meadow Lane on a two-year-deal.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking to on the official clubs' website, he said: "Good, happy to get it all sorted and over with nice and quickly.
</p>

<p>
	"So I can focus and get myself ready to start the season. I liked playing there as a boy and I came out a man, I learnt a lot there at Torquay from the lads and the management team and obviously its managed to get me this move so it's been good." He added.
</p>

<p>
	"I had a few options in the Football League but for what I'm wanting as a player, I'm wanting to develop and get better individually. The facilities and the management team really stood out a lot at Notts and it worked for me best here."
</p>

<p>
	Meanwhile, magpies head coach Ian Burchnall described the signing as a 'real coup' for the club and was delighted that he had secured the club’s first summer signing.
</p>

<p>
	"I strongly believe Kyle can go levels up from here and feel this is a big coup for the club," said the head coach.
</p>

<p>
	"He actually played on the left wing against us in the play-offs, and we were impressed with his ability on the ball. We think he’ll be really comfortable stepping out of defence and, combined with his excellent aerial and defensive capabilities, we’ve got ourselves a top centre-back who suits us perfectly.
</p>

<p>
	"He’s left-footed, too, which adds more balance to our back line, and he’s got fantastic leadership qualities as demonstrated by him filling in as captain at Torquay on numerous occasions."

</p>

<p>
	"It's a great club, with a great history and the fanbase is brilliant. It's one of the main reasons why I wanted to stay."

	Notts County's head coach Ian Burchnall said: "I'm really pleased, Connell's been a big part of our defensive unit for a while now.
</p>

<p>
	"We’ve used him on the right of a back three a lot but I think he can stake his claim in the middle because he’s commanding in the air and a committed defender.
</p>

<p>
	"He’s comfortable on the ball, too, so he can play a variety of roles at the back. He’s another player that wants to show commitment to the club by staying and helping us get out of this division."

</p>

<p>
	"Its something that I'm really wanting to help this club do, the other, the fans have been brilliant, especially the last couple of games when they've been able to be back and in the first season, they're fantastic to play for and I think they kind of trust that the owners have put in the players and the management staff during the time that I've been here.

<p>
	Jake Reeves has agreed a deal to join League Two Stevenage.
</p>

<p>
	The 28-year-old midfielder, has featured heavily for Notts County in National League and has made more than 200 English Football League appearances
</p>

<p>
	He made 43 appearances last season as the Magpies reached the National League play-offs, however, Reeves has activated a clause in his contract which sees him link up Alex Revell.
</p>

<p>
	Jake Reeves said via the Stevenage official site: "Having just played a year in the National League, it is nice to be back in the Football League with Stevenage.
</p>

<p>
	"I am looking forward to playing at The Lamex as a home player, because playing here away from home was always a tough gig. I know this ground quite well I have met with the gaffer a couple of times now, and ever since talking to him and learning how he wants to play and what he wants to achieve, it was a no-brainer for me".
</p>

<p>
	This leaves Notts County requiring to further strengthen up their midfield, after Michael Doyle has taken the assistant head coach role on a permanent basis and is expected to only feature sporadically for the magpies next season.
</p>

<p>
	Notts County Head coach told the Nottingham Post: "While we are of course very disappointed to be losing Jake, no one deserves this opportunity more than him.
</p>

<p>
	"He had a very difficult time at Bradford after joining them when they were flying high in League One and has given his absolute all for Notts County over the course of this season. We always suspected Jake would have ambitions of returning to the EFL as soon as possible, and we have been planning for this eventuality for some time.
</p>

<p>
	adding "While he will of course be difficult to replace, we have been assessing several players who we feel could step into his shoes and have identified a number of exciting prospects. These things take time, but we’re confident we’ll go into next season with a balanced and strong midfield."
</p>

</p>

<p>
	<em><strong>Next up!</strong></em> <em><strong>Game of the Season:</strong></em>
</p>

<p>
	Chesterfield vs. Notts County clinched the Game of the Season, as the most popular choice by far - the goal-thriller and late dramatic win will be remembered for many seasons to come! Here're the highlights of the game.
</p>

<p>
	<strong><em>Signing of the Season:</em></strong>
</p>

</div>

<p>
	Mark Ellis stormed past Ruben Rodrigues who was a popular option in the category, however, Ellis stole the show after his impressive loan spell at Meadow Lane.
</p>

<p>
	<em><strong>Next up! Goal of the Season:</strong></em>
</p>

<div class="ipsEmbeddedOther" contenteditable="false">
	<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="ipsEmbed_finishedLoading" data-embedid="embed108520756" scrolling="no" src="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/index.php?app=core&amp;module=system&amp;controller=embed&amp;url=https://twitter.com/PON_NCC/status/1404460861327093760" style="overflow: hidden; height: 836px;" loading="lazy"></iframe>
</div>

<p>
	Elisha Sam's outstanding back-heel finish took the Pride of Nottingham's Goal of the Season. Such a cheeky, special effort would always be difficult to beat.
</p>

<p>
	<em><strong>And finally, the Pride of Nottingham's Player of the Season:</strong></em>
</p>

<div class="ipsEmbeddedOther" contenteditable="false">
	<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="ipsEmbed_finishedLoading" data-embedid="embed9700191709" scrolling="no" src="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/index.php?app=core&amp;module=system&amp;controller=embed&amp;url=https://twitter.com/PON_NCC/status/1404442823626301442" style="overflow: hidden; height: 764px;" loading="lazy"></iframe>
</div>

<p>
	Who else, other than the feely scoring centre-back? Mark Ellis truly stole the show beating a vast popular options such as Kyle Wootton who played a crucial role propelling Notts to several wins - just like Ellis did upon his arrival.
</p>

<p>
	<u><strong>Once again, thank you to everyone who took part in the Pride of Nottingham awards.</strong></u>

<p>
	Notts County head coach Ian Burchnall has urged his side to refocus for upcoming game against Torquay in the magpies' bid to regain their place in the English Football League.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpies take a trip to Torquay on Saturday in the 2nd stage of the National League play-offs.
</p>

<p>
	It follows a dramatic late 3-2 sway over Chesterfield at Meadow Lane.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham, Burchnall said: "They are a very good team, they nearly won the league, but finished second - they ran it really close
</p>

<p>
	"We know they've got a lot of quality. We really have to focus now, we have to bring ourselves down and refocus on the next game."
</p>

<p>
	The magpies' are now one game away from another trip to the National League Playoff finals at Ashton Gate after Mark Ellis racked up a last-minute goal to provide victory over Chesterfield in a game which saw them three times score after going behind twice in the match.
</p>

<p>
	The defender has scored six goals in 20 games since arriving at Meadow Lane from Tranmere Rovers in March.
</p>

<p>
	"He's got a massive head." Burchnall joked before adding: "He's brave, he puts his head on everything. He doesn't mind getting his face smashed in. He's been magnificent."
</p>

<p>
	Ellis was born in Devon and also made greater than 130 appearances for Torquay earlier in his profession.
</p>

<p>
	"They're a former club, but there's only one thing on my mind and that's to go there and win and get us to the final," the 32-year-old said.
</p>

<p>
	Burchnall believes the character revealed by his group of players since arriving as manager, 12 days after Ellis' arrival at the club has been vital.
</p>

<p>
	"We have it in the group. I saw it when I first came in.
</p>

<p>
	"We just needed to believe in what we were doing a little bit more, we just needed to believe in what we were doing a little bit more, We turned a corner a while back and they've not looked back since then."

<p><img src="https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/uploads/monthly_2021_04/articleimage.jpg.ed99c03dcf5a7ab13817fd3d316c633b.jpg" /></p>
<p>
	We would like to share the story of Maisie-Grace, an eight-year-old Notts fan.
</p>

<p>
	When Maisie-Grace was born, she had a hole in her back with the spine and nerves exposed.
</p>

<p>
	Her first operation, to close her spine, was when she was just three hours old.
</p>

<p>
	Maisie-Grace spent six of the first 24 hours of her life in an operating theatre, and her family thought they'd lost her five times.
</p>

<p>
	When Maisie-Grace was just three weeks old, she had three procedures a week, putting a large needle into the top of her head to drain spinal fluid, and at six weeks old, she had a VP shunt fitted which drains all the fluid from the brain.
</p>

<p>
	Shunts are man made and nobody knows how long they will work for which means more operations.
</p>

<p>
	Maisie-Grace has a number of conditions including spina bifida meningomyelocele, neuropathic bladder &amp; bowel, hydrocathlus, dislocated hips, autism traits, sleep apnea and a beighton score of 7, which means hyper mobility joints.
</p>

<p>
	She has undergone 15 operations and as she gets older she will be having lots more.
</p>

<p>
	Unfortunately, the NHS can not fund the right wheelchair that is needed, so Maisie-Grace's grandmother, Alison, is hoping to raise enough money to buy her granddaughter the wheelchair she needs.
</p>

<p>
	This wheelchair will have the right support for her hips &amp; spine, and it also grows with her and could last her till late teens.
</p>

<p>
	Maisie-Grace will be able to go over rough terrain like walking through the woods and will be much easier to wheel over grass.
</p>

<p>
	Also, when Maisie-Grace goes on holiday, she will finally be able to go in the sea as the wheelchair will be able to go across the sand.
</p>

<p>
	When it’s snowing, Maisie-Grace is unable to go out in her wheelchair as we struggle to push it through the snow but with the new one she will be more mobile and be able to explore a lot more than she can now.
</p>

<p>
	"This wheelchair is also 10kg lighter than the NHS one, she also has fallen out of her NHS chair twice before forwards and hurt herself," said Alison.
</p>

<p>
	"She's really hoping that we can raise the funds to buy the new wheelchair and if she's lucky maybe a trike too."
</p>

<p>
	A trike means Maisie-Grace would be able to go on bike rides with her friends and family.
</p>

<p>
	"Maisie-Grace has to use her hands to wheel it around," added Alison.
</p>

<p>
	"This would build up her body strength, as she dislocates her hips and is not allowed to use pedals.
</p>

<p>
	"Hopefully in the next month the company will be out about the trike, but we've had quotes for a new wheelchair."
</p>

<p>
	Maisie Grace's family have approached several charities but unfortunately due to COVID-19 may of those are closed for funding.
</p>

<p>
	Notts County boss Neal Ardley, says footballers ought not be given particular treatment with regards to getting a Covid immunization.
</p>

<p>
	The magpies have seen neighbouring rivals Chesterfield go under examination after a portion of their players - thought to be three altogether - got an immunization.
</p>

<p>
	Ardley was inquired as to whether he suspected players ought to get their first punches rapidly after Notts saw their season hampered by sessions Covid in the crew.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham he said: "I don't think they should, no. You've got to think about the bigger picture.
</p>

<p>
	"It's about the country, not just that, the world. We can get our country in order, but the world won't get back to normal unless we help other people so I think we've got to get as many people that need to be safe, safe. I'm pretty sure footballers come down the pecking order in respect to that.
</p>

<p>
	"I know players can't socially distance on a pitch, that's why I think testing is important for football teams to identify cases early and keep the bubbles as safe as possible.
</p>

<p>
	"There's too many people that are important ahead of footballers."
</p>

<p>
	Then, Ardley accepts his players are substance to play regardless of the characteristic dangers of close physical game in a pandemic. In any case, he says players are allowed to pull out, referring to the case of striker Wes Thomas, who would not train with the group over security fears.
</p>

<p>
	"We've had the incident with Wes Thomas so we know there is that fear. We've made it clear to our players that if anyone has concerns they won't be judged on whatever their concerns are, I think 80 to 90 per cent of the squad have had it, but I think the boys feel we're doing things right to keep our bubble safe and we feel we can keep playing. He said.
</p>

<p>
	"Young fit players aren't so concerned about their own health, but I think everyone is concerned about transmitting the disease to someone who might suffer more."

<p>
	Notts County has voted on whether the National League season should be null and voided for 2020-21.
</p>

<p>
	Clubs within the division have been asked to provide their thoughts on the current situation caused by COVID-19.
</p>

<p>
	Uncertainty still surrounds the National league and the future of games being played.
</p>

<p>
	Via the official Notts County site a statement read: “On Monday, we received correspondence from the National League detailing resolutions for member clubs to consider the outcome of the 2020-21 season.
</p>

<p>
	We have voted for Special Resolution One and against Ordinary Resolutions Two and Four, meaning we believe the season should continue and that clubs should decide the outcome of their own divisions.
</p>

<p>
	We look forward to learning the full results of the vote and hopefully continuing our push for promotion.”
</p>

<p>
	The National League South and North have had their season paused for a fortnight.
</p>

<p>
	It's unknown if the Non-Leagues top division will do the same or suspend the league indefinitely, if enough clubs vote to let the league decide their fate independent of each other than every club would get an equal vote on what happens.

<p>
	Notts County manager Neal Ardley concedes that the clubs quest for new signings is a progressing cycle as they hope to reinforce their advancement towards promotion this season.
</p>

<p>
	As the Magpies continue to eye up possible signings for the left-back and centre-back position after missing out on signing Premier League youth, Morgan Boyes from Liverpool.
</p>

<p>
	A medical procedure on Damien McCrory's knee has left Notts short on cover and preferably Notts might want a player who can play left-back and at centre-back.
</p>

<p>
	However, Magpies manager Ardley says he is taking as much time as necessary with the following player he adds to the crew and is console in the information that the National League doesn't have an exchange window means Ardley doesn't feel the need to rush into transfer market.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking to the Nottingham Post when asked if any signings was imminent: Ardley said: "No not at the moment. We're working hard to try and make sure whoever we bring in is  the right person.
</p>

<p>
	"We don't want to go and jump  the gun and then realize that somebody we would have preferred would become available. We're working hard, and we're close to having options on that list. But it's not something we can just click our  finger and make happen."
</p>

<p>
	The probability is that any fresh introduction will most likely arrive on loan opposed to a lasting arrangement.
</p>

<p>
	However, with just five loanees in a matchday squad, Notts as of now have four in Calvin Miller, Inih Effiong, Jimmy Knowles and Matty Wolfe.
</p>

<p>
	"We've got a loan space available, but we have only got one space to make the five up," continued Ardley.
</p>

<p>
	"All things are on the table still but, certainly, if you  do a permanent deal you might end up with a player who will want longer than just the rest of this season.
</p>

<p>
	"Then you're eating into what you might be looking at doing in the summer."
