	Faces of PON, the beloved fan album project led by Chris Buckley, founder of Pride of Nottingham, has once again captured the essence of Notts County’s supporter base during yesterday’s match against Port Vale at Meadow Lane.
</p>

<p>
	This long-running project highlights the true heart of the club, the fans, preserving their spirit through Buckley’s lens.
</p>

<p>
	The atmosphere before the game was electrifying, with fans gathering at The Navi and The Nest, two well-loved spots for pre-match excitement.
</p>

<p>
	Buckley remarked, "It was fantastic to see The Navi and The Nest buzzing with energy before kick-off. It’s clear how much these match days mean to everyone, and I feel honoured to document that spirit."
</p>

<p>
	The bustling scenes at these popular venues brought fans together to celebrate their shared passion for the Magpies.
</p>

<p>
	As the game kicked off, the crowd’s support only grew stronger. "In the stands, you could feel the energy from everyone around you," Buckley shared.
</p>

<p>
	"Even when the match doesn’t go our way, the support is as solid as ever. That’s what Faces of PON is all about—capturing that undying loyalty that makes Notts County fans some of the best in the league."
</p>

<p>
	Faces of PON has become a cornerstone of the Pride of Nottingham community, and Buckley’s dedication to documenting the fan experience at both home and away games is unmatched.
</p>

<p>
	During the Port Vale match, Buckley moved through the crowd, capturing images of familiar faces and new supporters alike. "Meeting fans who’ve been coming to games for years, and those who are just beginning their journey, is something special," he said. "They all share that same unwavering connection to the club, and it’s inspiring to see."
</p>

<p>
	The project has grown over the years, becoming a visual time capsule of the Notts County fanbase. Through every high and low, Faces of PON preserves the memories of match days, giving fans a unique way to relive their experiences and share in the club’s legacy.
</p>

<p>
	Buckley emphasised, "Each photo tells a story of commitment and passion. It’s not just about the result on the pitch; it’s about capturing the raw emotion that brings fans back game after game."
</p>

<p>
	Reflecting on the Port Vale match, Buckley expressed his gratitude to the fans: "The support was tremendous, both in the stands and outside the stadium.
</p>

<p>
	It’s humbling to see so many people standing by the team, no matter the outcome. Faces of PON aims to capture those moments of resilience and community, and it’s those moments that make Notts County truly special."

<p>
	Faces of PON, the long-running fan album project by Chris Buckley, founder of Pride of Nottingham, continues its mission to highlight the true heart of Notts County Football Club - the supporters.
</p>

<p>
	During Saturday’s fiercely contested match against Gillingham at Meadow Lane, which ended in a narrow 1-0 defeat for the Magpies, Buckley once again turned his camera to the fans, capturing the passion and pride that have long defined the Notts County faithful.
</p>

<p>
	"Even when the result doesn’t go our way, the support from the stands never wavers," says Buckley, reflecting on the Gillingham match. "It was another tough day for the team, but the fans remain the soul of this club. Faces of PON is my way of preserving those moments of dedication and unity, no matter what happens on the pitch."
</p>

<p>
	As a regular presence at both home and away games, Buckley has made Faces of PON an integral part of the Pride of Nottingham community, giving fans a chance to be part of a visual record that stretches back through the seasons. For the Gillingham match, Buckley was once again among the crowd, photographing familiar faces and new supporters alike, all united by their love for Notts County.
</p>

<p>
	"The Meadow Lane crowd was fantastic as always," Buckley shared. "Capturing that energy, the pre-match excitement, the highs and lows, it’s what makes this project special to me. It’s more than just the result—it’s about the fans and their unwavering connection to the club."
</p>

<p>
	The Faces of PON project, which has been a fan favourite for years, is driven by Buckley’s dedication to showcasing the stories and personalities behind the supporters. Whether at a victory or in defeat, the album aims to immortalize the spirit of the Notts County fanbase, giving them a platform to share in the club’s history through a collection of candid matchday photos.
</p>

<p>
	"I want to encourage all Notts County fans to come and be a part of this project," Buckley says. "The Gillingham game might not have gone our way, but the supporters showed their true colours, and that’s what Faces of PON is about - capturing those moments of resilience and pride."
</p>

<p>
	Fans can view the latest album from the Gillingham match, along with photos from previous games, on Pride of Nottingham. With each game, the project continues to grow, documenting the passion and loyalty of Notts County’s community.

<p>
	Faces of PON, an ongoing fan album project by Chris Buckley of Pride of Nottingham, continues to celebrate the supporters of Notts County Football Club.
</p>

<p>
	Captured ahead of the club's recent 2-0 victory over Accrington Stanley at Meadow Lane, the latest album highlights the passion and community spirit of the fans that have been at the heart of the project for years.
</p>

<p>
	"I take pictures at every game I can physically attend," says Chris Buckley. "It's not been easy with my health, COVID, and growing anxiety, but I’ve always enjoyed capturing these moments. Now that I’m in a much healthier place, I’m trying to cover as many home and away games as possible. Accrington Stanley at Meadow Lane just happened to be one of those games."
</p>

<p>
	While Faces of PON is a personal project, it is deeply rooted in the fan community. Buckley’s photos provide fans a chance to relive match day memories and preserve moments beyond the final score. "It’s me who takes the most away from it," Buckley shares. "This project puts me in contact with fans, and I genuinely love bumping into the familiar faces I’ve come to know over the years. I’ve met some very special people, and I hope these pictures bring fans the same sense of connection that they bring me."
</p>

<p>
	As part of the Pride of Nottingham community, Faces of PON reflects the unity of Notts County’s fanbase. "Even if fans aren’t part of the site, this project shows how they’re still a part of the wider PON family. It’s important that Pride of Nottingham represents the fans, and I hope they enjoy being featured in this way. Looking back at these photos reminds me of the club’s history and the togetherness of the supporters, which is at the heart of Notts."
</p>

<p>
	Capturing these moments brings personal fulfilment, as shown by Buckley’s experience reconnecting with long-time supporters during the Accrington Stanley match. "One moment that stood out to me was bumping into Stephen Silver, a fan I hadn’t seen this season, and the Goode Brothers. It was a chance encounter, but it reminded me of how precious these connections are. Catching up with them reminded me why I continue to do this."
</p>

<p>
	Looking ahead, Buckley plans to keep Faces of PON going. "I take it on a game-to-game basis, but I’m aiming to capture every home game. I hope to include more fans, both regulars and new faces. If fans see me, they know I’m approachable and happy to take their picture. It’s something I really value."
</p>

<p>
	With Faces of PON, fans can expect a lasting tribute to their passion for Notts County, preserved through the lens of someone who knows first-hand the power of community.

	Chris, the passionate owner and gaffer of The Pride of Nottingham, returned to Meadow Lane yesterday to document the electric atmosphere of Notts County’s triumphant 4-1 victory over Grimsby Town.
</p>

<p>
	As a dedicated fan and supporter of the Magpies, Chris was on hand to capture the joy and excitement of the Notts faithful, immortalising the unforgettable moments from this standout match.
</p>

<p>
	Notts County delivered a performance brimming with attacking flair, dominating the game from the outset. The Magpies struck early, with Alassana Jatta opening the scoring just six minutes in, setting the tone for what would be a commanding display. Dan Crowley, a constant threat throughout the match, added a second in the 15th minute, and Jodi Jones capped off a superb first half with a stunning goal in the 45th minute. Although Grimsby Town managed to pull one back in stoppage time, Notts County remained in control and secured the win with Crowley’s second goal in the 57th minute.
</p>

<p>
	The victory, a significant boost to Notts County’s promotion ambitions from League Two, was made even more special by the vibrant support of the fans. Chris, armed with his camera, captured the raw emotions of the supporters as they celebrated each goal, their belief in the team unwavering. The Pride of Nottingham’s Faces of PON gallery is now live, offering fans the opportunity to relive the day’s events and see themselves as part of this remarkable moment in the club’s journey.
</p>

<p>
	“It was fantastic to watch such an impressive performance from the lads and to see the fans react with such passion,” Chris said. “The atmosphere at Meadow Lane was electric, and it’s clear that the belief in our bid for promotion is stronger than ever. I’m thrilled to be able to share these moments with the Notts County community through the gallery.”
</p>

<p>
	The Pride of Nottingham (PON), an online community dedicated to Notts County fans, is thrilled to announce a new fan appreciation initiative aimed at giving back to our loyal supporters. Starting this season, PON will be awarding a free print every month to one of our fans who actively engages with our social media platforms.
</p>

<p>
	This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a strong and interactive community. We recognise the passion and dedication of our followers, and we believe in celebrating their contributions by offering them something special in return. The process is simple: each month, our subscribers will vote on who they believe deserves a print. The winning fan will be someone who has shown outstanding enthusiasm and engagement across our social media pages.
</p>

<p>
	"We are incredibly fortunate to have such a vibrant and supportive community," said True Magpie, Lead Content and Fan Engagement Admin of The Pride of Nottingham. "Our fans are the heartbeat of what we do, and this initiative is our way of saying thank you. We want to encourage even more interaction and create a space where our supporters feel valued and appreciated."
</p>

<p>
	The prints will feature exclusive designs that capture the spirit of Notts County, making them a prized addition to any fan’s collection. Whether it’s through sharing our posts, commenting on our content, or engaging in discussions, every interaction counts, and every fan has a chance to be recognised.
</p>

<p>
	At the end of each month, our subscribers will have the power to choose the winner, ensuring that the award goes to a deserving fan who has made a positive impact on the community. This democratic approach allows our community members to celebrate each other, further strengthening the bond among PON followers.
</p>

<p>
	"We want our fans to know that their voices are heard and that their involvement is what makes PON special," added True Magpie. "This initiative is just the beginning of our efforts to give back to those who have supported us over the years."
</p>

<p>
	Fans are encouraged to follow PON on all social media platforms and actively participate in the conversations. The first winner(s) will be announced ahead of the home game against Accrington Stanley on Saturday 7th September 2024, so be sure to engage and make your voice heard!
</p>

<p>
	In a dramatic finish at Meadow Lane, Jodi Jones secured a last-gasp equaliser for Notts County, who drew 2-2 against Fleetwood.
</p>

<p>
	The visitors took the lead in the first half when Ryan Graydon headed in from a corner, and they doubled their advantage early in the second half through Brendan Wiredu, who calmly slotted home after being set up by Graydon.
</p>

<p>
	Notts County, however, refused to back down. Alassana Jatta halved the deficit just before the hour mark, converting Lewis Macari’s low cross to reignite the home side's hopes.
</p>

<p>
	As the match neared its conclusion, Notts piled on the pressure. Their efforts paid off deep into stoppage time when Nick Tsaroulla was fouled inside the area. Jones stepped up to take the resulting penalty, confidently sending the goalkeeper the wrong way and securing a hard-fought point for his side.
</p>

<p>
	Despite Fleetwood’s strong start, Notts County’s determination saw them claw back to earn a share of the spoils in a thrilling encounter.

<p>
	<span style="color: var(--c8);">It’s often said that the true essence of the game lies not just on the pitch, but in the stands. This sentiment was vividly brought to life during Notts County’s recent away match against Tranmere Rovers, which ended in a hard-fought 0-0 draw. As a dedicated fan and photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the unwavering spirit and passion of our travelling supporters for Pride of Nottingham’s latest feature, “Faces of PON.”</span>
</p>

<p>
	The journey to Prenton Park was filled with anticipation and camaraderie. From the early morning coach rides to the bustling pre-match gatherings, the Notts County faithful were out in full force, their black and white scarves waving proudly. Each face in the crowd told a unique story, a testament to the diverse and vibrant community that makes up our fanbase.
</p>

<p>
	Among the sea of supporters, I encountered lifelong fans who have followed the Magpies through thick and thin, as well as new faces experiencing the thrill of an away day for the first time. There were families passing down the tradition of supporting Notts County to the next generation, and friends united by their shared love for the club. The smiles, the chants, and the moments of collective tension and joy were all captured through my lens.
</p>

<p>
	“Faces of PON” is a tribute to every fan who makes the journey, who stands by the team through every high and low. It’s a reminder that, win or lose, the heart and soul of Notts County will always be found in its incredible supporters. Thank you for being the heartbeat of our beloved club.

<p>
	The Faces of PON is a fan gallery that captures the excitement and passion of Notts County fans at games. This season, Chris, a photographer, returned to Meadow Lane to take pictures for the first time in the 2023-24 season.
</p>

<p>
	Chris was inspired to start taking pictures at Meadow Lane after being asked to take pictures of fans at half-time many years ago. He decided to bring his camera to the Notts County vs. Tranmere Rovers game and capture the match day vibe throughout the day.
</p>

<p>
	Chris captures the excitement and passion of Notts County fans in his photographs by focusing on their reactions and emotions. He tries to capture the relaxed atmosphere of the second home game, as well as the excitement of the fans. “It was great to see the fans all excited,” he said.
</p>

<p>
	Meadow Lane is a unique venue for football matches because it is a traditional stadium that creates a superb atmosphere. Notts County fans are thrilled about Chris’s return to Meadow Lane as a photographer, with many eager to have their picture taken or pose for the camera. “Plenty of fans asked and waved to get my attention,” Chris said.
</p>

<p>
	Some memorable moments that Chris has captured in his photographs at Meadow Lane include the disappointment and hurt of Notts County fans during difficult times, as well as their optimism and hope for the future. There was a particularly memorable moment when Chris encountered two proud grandparents who were eagerly attending their grandson's first game at Meadow Lane. “It stays in my memory,” he said.
</p>

<p>
	The Faces of PON gallery contributes to the match day experience for Notts County fans by allowing them to share their experiences and see their reactions to the pictures once they go live. Chris is passionate about providing fans with memories that they can all share. “It’s something I am very passionate about,” he said.
</p>

<p>
	Chris’s plans for the future of The Faces of PON gallery include keeping it as active as possible and providing fans with photos on match days on a regular basis. Despite facing challenges such as anxiety and confidence issues, Chris is encouraged to keep going and continue giving fans special memories. “My aim is to keep the feature as active as possible,” he said.
</p>

<p>
	Notts County fans feel positively about The Faces of PON gallery and its impact on their match day experience. They appreciate being able to look back at special times with family and friends through Chris’s photographs.

<p>
	The Faces of PON returned for the 2023-24 League Two season, capturing the emotions and reactions of Notts County fans as they entered the Eco-Power Stadium (Keepmoat Stadium) for their away game against Doncaster Rovers.
</p>

<p>
	The Magpie fans were in full spirit, impressing through the game with their support. Chris Buckley, the Pride of Nottingham gaffer, was hands-on, taking pictures of the fans.
</p>

<p>
	Speaking to fans before the game, it seemed an unknown game as to what to expect. Chris felt that a 2-1 Notts win was on the card, whilst the majority of fans that he spoke to struggled to draw a conclusion.
</p>

<p>
	Despite the mounting anticipation, the support remained remarkably composed and showed no signs of any nervousness or uncertainty. With the away end making the atmosphere feel very much like a home game, and the reactions were incredible. Each goal, the away end went into raptures.
</p>

<p>
	One memorable moment was when Saint Raymond put his hand up for a high-five and both he and Chris embraced in a man hug and started jumping up with pure joy.
</p>

<p>
	“It was crazy, in a fun and enjoyable way,” said Chris. The buzz created by our travelling support truly brought out the emotions, reminiscent of another unforgettable experience at Wembley. Another highlight was Macaulay Langstaff’s celebration with his permanent smile and fist celebration in front of us for the second goal - absolutely magic, and he deserved the brace!
</p>

<p>
	The 3-1 victory against Doncaster Rovers puts things into perspective. Yes, Doncaster Rovers were poor but Notts didn’t allow them to really get going. The 3-2 win at home over Grimsby gave us 3 much needed points, yet it’s our away form which really needed a positive result with the hammering Sutton United gave us and then the draw against Morecambe.
</p>

<p>
	This win is a boost, as we have been improving and the confidence from such a solid performance is something we can draw from. The importance of the match is that it can encourage us to strive to get victories on the road. The togetherness between club, players and fans is massive, and it’s a winning formula. Having our first away win of the season, with such a dominant performance will be a game that we can build on from.
</p>

<p>
	The Faces of PON continues to capture the passion and emotion of Notts County fans, providing a unique perspective on match days. Be sure to check out the gallery on the Pride of Nottingham website and Facebook page.

<p>
	Macauley Langstaff scored two goals as Notts County easily defeated Doncaster, securing their first away win of the season. Langstaff, last season's National League top scorer, netted his first two goals of the campaign while Jodi Jones also scored as the Magpies dominated at the Eco-Power Stadium.
</p>

<p>
	After a scrappy start to the game, Langstaff opened the scoring 28 minutes in with a volley from an excellent cross by John Bostock. Doncaster made three substitutions at half-time, but County doubled their lead in the first minute of the second half when Langstaff headed in a cross from Sam Austin.
</p>

<p>
	Rovers briefly rallied, but their hopes were dashed after 54 minutes when Jones drilled the ball in at the near post from a Dan Crowley cross. Langstaff nearly completed his hat-trick on the hour mark but missed a header from David McGoldrick's deflected cross.
</p>

<p>
	Substitute Deji Sotona scored from 10 yards out deep into stoppage time to reduce the deficit, but it was little consolation for a thoroughly beaten Doncaster.

<p>
	Notts County match day vlogger ARLukomski was there to capture the Magpies’ triumphant return to the Football League at the playoff final at Wembley. After four years in exile, following their relegation from League Two in the 2018/19 season, the Magpies were back.
</p>

<p>
	The match was an emotional rollercoaster for both teams and their supporters. Notts County demonstrated remarkable tenacity as they twice came from behind against Chesterfield. However, it was Cedwyn Scott who ultimately emerged as the hero of the day, scoring the decisive goal from the penalty spot.
</p>

<p>
	This victory marks the beginning of a new chapter for Notts County as they return to the Football League with renewed vigour and determination. The Magpies have demonstrated that they have the talent and resilience to compete at this level, and their supporters will be eagerly looking forward to what the future holds for their team.
</p>

<p>
	In an interview with the Pride of Nottingham, ARLukomski (also known as Declan) stated: "A feeling of shock and happiness together. It was the first time I witnessed a promotion, so it was quite incredible. I was shocked that it happened. Finally." He stated when asked about how he felt seeing Cedwyn Scott score his penalty to win Notts County Promotion.
</p>

<p>
	"Electric. It was tense when we thought hope was lost and the clock was ticking down.
</p>

<p>
	"However, there was pure elation and euphoria when John Bostock, then Ruben Rodrigues, then Archie Mair, and finally Cedwyn Scott gave us the ending we wanted." He added.
</p>

<p>
	When asked what his favourite moment from the match was, Declan replied: "It sounds easy, but Cedwyn’s penalty was my favourite moment.
</p>

<p>
	"My favourite player completed his redemption arc to give me one of the best moments of my life. I’ve had tough times in life, but for one moment, everything was perfect. We did it."

<p>
	On the day of the playoff final against Chesterfield, Notts County fans filled the stands at Wembley Stadium, singing songs and cheering on their team. Among them was Chris Buckley, owner of the independent fan site Pride of Nottingham, who captured the emotions of the fans in his Faces of PON fan gallery.
</p>

<p>
	The atmosphere was electric, with fans feeling a mix of excitement and nerves as they watched their team compete for victory. Despite some quiet and cagey moments, it was always great to see Notts fill areas of stadiums and sing various songs, such as “I had a wheelbarrow.”
</p>

<p>
	When Notts won on penalties after the game ended 2-2 in regular time, the reactions were mixed. Some fans couldn’t watch, while young fans cried with excitement and nerves at the same time.
</p>

<p>
	Chris Buckley shared some memorable encounters and reactions from the day: “At a service station I bumped into some Forest fans, who I wished well with their game against Chelsea. The Forest fan turned around and said, ‘Yes you too. You better go up! After hitting what 107 points and leading the season as long as you did. Notts deserves to go up, mind you, better had because I have you on my bet and I will be buggered if you lose.’”
</p>

<p>
	He also reflected on the Faces of PON gallery: “It was great seeing Notts County fans in spirit, hearing a good old ‘You Pies!’ which is something we need to keep as a tradition when seeing Magpie fans.”
</p>

<p>
	One of the most memorable moments captured in the Faces of PON gallery was young Harry, who Pride of Nottingham first snapped as a young baby making his first trip to Wembley with his parents Jade Miller and Jeremy Putman.
</p>

<p>
	After the game, there were also notable reactions from players and team officials. Chris Buckley observed that Aden Baldwin was struggling with cramp and couldn’t walk.
</p>

<p>
	Jim O’Brien came along and tried to help before determining that it would be easier to lift Aden and throw him over his shoulders. He carried him like a fireman to the promotion celebrations and to collect his medal.
</p>

<p>
	Jodi Jones also went to each section of the Notts County fans wrapped in a flag and clapping to thank them for their amazing support.
</p>

<p>
	The Faces of PON fan gallery is a testament to the passion and dedication of Notts County fans. Thanks to Chris Buckley’s photography, these moments will be remembered for years to come.

<p>
	The Faces of PON is a fan gallery taken at Notts County games by the Pride of Nottingham Gaffer, Chris Buckley. The gallery can be found on the Pride of Nottingham Facebook page and website, inside the gallery section.
</p>

<p>
	The latest addition to the gallery includes match day photos taken from the Notts County playoff win over Boreham Wood. This win sees Notts County reach the Playoff Final and gives them a chance to return to the Football League.
</p>

<p>
	"I always enjoy taking pictures of the fans, the response from the York City game was incredible, and I have missed taking the photos which everyone has always been kind about," said Chris Buckley.
</p>

<p>
	"It was nice to take photos at such a game, as with all the lows in supporting Notts County this was most certainly a high for the club. The fans were incredible, from the build-up to the final whistle. Through my lens I see a lot of emotion and passion, it's always there and the Notts County community means the world to me."
</p>

<p>
	One highlight of the game was when the third goal went in. Chris looked around and quickly snapped a father and young fan who were in the middle of reacting to the goal. The reaction by the young fan is considered to be one of his favourite photos.
</p>

<p>
	Since returning to taking the fan gallery in the last home game of the season, Chris decided he would take pictures at the Semi Final against Boreham Wood. Fans will be able to relive the match, seeing how fans responded throughout the game and hopefully enjoying seeing the photographs.
</p>

<p>
	Looking ahead to future events, Chris said: "I will be trying to snap pictures of Wembley using my smartphone. It's not ideal but the risk of stewards taking my camera at Wembley is just too high. The quality should still be of a high standard, but I will mostly hope to capture photos of groups of fans and families if they wish to appear on the big day. As for next season, the plan is to return for every home game."

</p>

<p>
	The Pride of Nottingham gaffer, Chris said: “I am aiming to return to taking pictures again for the playoffs.
</p>

<p>
	"Potentially Wembley, fingers crossed. Next season the gallery will return for home games, but away ones will be limited to a selection of pre-match photos.
</p>

<p>
	"It was a delight to be back taking photos, something which hasn’t happened since COVID, and although I tired myself out in the days after, it was well worth doing."
</p>

<p>
	We encourage Notts fans to be on the lookout for Chris. Simply wave, shout or just ask for a picture, and he will happily oblige. Fans can also check the Pride of Nottingham Facebook and Twitter pages, along with the gallery on the site itself.
