AI bringing historical figures back to life.

I think this AI recreation of famous historical figures from the American Civil war, & bringing them back to life from photographs of the time is really cool. You also get to know a little about why they were famous or infamous, depending on your point of view.

I'm sure as the technology gets increased AI in this sort of context is going to revolutionise how we see these historical figures from the past.

I think it is a great way to look beyond what we see in in an old photograph or painting. We can just about see what the artist & photographer saw when the subject posed for them all those years ago.

For those who want to get some brief info about historical figures, through the ages it is a good learning resource in my opinion.

@Robbie and all PON Members interested in this sort of thing, there's a You Tube Channel called Royalty Now Studios. The Artist Becca is a very talented Artist who tells each subject's life story and uses AI to turn their Painted Portraits into what they would look like in Real Life and What the person would look like if they were alive today. It's just not Royal Portraits, but other Historical Figures and is Certainly Worth A Watch.
