Some good players available & I do hope Notts won't leave it too long to try & recruit the players they need. It's all well and good getting players on a free, but Notts are going to have to get the cheque book out if they want the pick of the crop.

Brazil v Italy 1970. One of the best footballing matches I have ever seen. I think it was the best Brazilian team in history & their have been some great Brazilian sides over the years. That move which led to the Carlos Alberto goal, which was Brazil's fourth, was one of the all-time great moves in an international match. Another big memory was the Portugal v North Korea Quarter Final match in 1966 at Goodison park. North Korea went into a 3:0 lead only to lose the match 3-5 to Portugal, Eusebio scoring 4 goals for Portugal including 2 penalties. Then last but not least watching England win the World Cup 4:2 as a 9 year old boy watching on a small black and white TV. The World Cup of 1966 introduced me to watching football on the TV & to eventually support Notts the following year.

I think the increase in attendance for Notts is also down to Notts attracting, families, & the casual supporter due to Notts competitive tickets prices. The people of Nottingham & surrounding areas are being attracted by good attacking football, that is leading to success at an affordable price.
