Early thoughts on Chesterfield
In the away leg at Chesterfield I think we need to field our most hard working & physical players. Players like Grant, Norburn, Robertson, & Ndlovu spring to mind. We need to ensure that we are not bullied by Chesterfield. But we don't want to be silly and lose our heads in the process. The first leg needs to be a holding game for Notts. I think we need to be hard working & industrious & grind a result to take back to meadow lane. If we can pinch a goal in a smash and grab way, so be it.

Wordle 1,780 4/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜🟨 🟨⬜🟨⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩- Attendance 16, 274
The overall average for the season has gone up to around 10,500, & with the capacity reduced to 16,500 nowadays that makes room for around 6,000. If Notts want to fill those seats there's always a kid for a quid or two to encourage families to attend or special offers to attract new supporters,- HIGHLIGHTS | NOTTS COUNTY 1-1 BRISTOL ROVERS

Wordle 1,779 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩- Ryley Reynolds returns to Kidderminster
Ryley Reynolds and Kidderminster Harriers have beaten Macclesfield in the National League North playoff semi finals and will play South Shields in the final on Saturday 9th May- Attendance 16, 274
When the new Stadium was built it was designed to hold near on 20K. New safety rules have come in since then reducing the capacity. The club has invested in two Hybrid pitches over the last few years which must have cost £millions. Updating the Stadium to increase the capacity would be a good investment for the club. There is also room to fill the corners with seats.- Attendance 16, 274
16,274 was the Notts attendance against Bristol Rovers. It was great to see Meadow Lane full to the rafters & the resulting atmosphere that such a large crowd created Would you like to see the owners invest in improvements to Meadow Lane to increase the Capacity. Would it be possible with the present structures. Would it be cost effective?- Who's your Man of the Match v Bristol R?
My top four players today were James Belshaw, Jacob Bedeau , Alassana Jatta & Nick Tsaroulla, but Nick Tsaroulla was above the rest. So my choice is Nick Tsaroulla.- Match Discussion: League Two - Bristol Rovers (A)
I'm going to remain positive. The Club has had another excellent season where all possibilities were on in the final game. We couldn't quite make automatic promotion, but we have earned a playoff place,. This Notts squad have a reasonable chance of getting to another playoff final in front of a massive crowd at Wembley Stadium, against either Grimsby or Salford, if we can beat Chesterfield over two legs. Sixty other clubs in the EFL would absolutely love to be in this position to be able to have another opportunity to get promoted. All we can do now is get behind the team to try to get them over the finishing line. We did it in the National League, we can still do it in 2026. If Notts can play like they did in the first half against a very good Bristol Rovers, I don't think we have anything to fear.- Match Discussion: League Two - Bristol Rovers (A)
- Who's your Man of the Match v Bristol R?
A 1-1 draw in the end for Notts in the final game of the regular league 2 season. So who is your Man of the Match for Notts? I have chosen the starting eleven for you to make your choice. Those players are, Belshaw Ness, McDonald, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Norburn, Iorpenda, Jones, Grant, Luker, Jatta.- Match Discussion: League Two - Bristol Rovers (A)
I suppose it's better than losing out by goal difference with Cambridge drawing at Crewe. We have to back ourselves against Chesterfield in the playoffs after how we played in that first half against in form Bristol R- Match Discussion: League Two - Bristol Rovers (A)
