Notts vs. Yorks

Just been to the first day at TB. Notts bowled out for 261 - is that a good score or not? Both sides at full strength with 13 England players on the field. How about this for a tes team made from both sides:

Hales, Lyth, Ballance, Root, Patel, Bairstow, Read, Broad, Rashid, Plunkett and Gurney?

Or ODI team:

Hales, Lumb, Root, Patel, Bairstow, Read, Broad, Rashid, Willey, Plunkett and Gurney. I think either team coould beat a rest-of-England XI at either format.

Decent effort from the bowlers to dismiss Yorkshire for 290, a lead of just 29 so still all to play for.

Interesting to see Stuart Broad as the only wicketless Notts bowler!

Incredible finish and probably a draw was fair in the end. Yorkshire had a real go for it an I thought for most of the afternoon they'd win. However, it all came down to the last ball after 4 days play - Sky must have been delighted to have chosen that game to televise. Pity Broady couldn't knock over Jack Brooks with the last 2 balls. Great century from Chris Read.

An epic game, even going into the last hour all three results were possible.  There's a really good review of the match on the cricinfo site for anyone interested:
