Jim O’Brien’s hat-trick secures thrilling Notts County win away against Maidstone United
Jim is a truly classy player. Despite his comments about being referred to as ‘experienced’, he remains one of the most motivational players Notts has. He deserves nothing but respect for his contributions to the team.

Ryan Reynolds: "They deserve to go up. We are rooting for Notts County"
I like Ryan Reynolds’ sentiment and to wish Notts County all the best. It would be a shame if we missed out on promotion. Preparing for the playoffs is crucial to settle the squad and give it their all. Let’s hope for the best!

Where are they now... Zeli Ismail
I must say, I was impressed by his performance at Notts. It's hard to believe how much time has passed since we last played in the Football League. However, when you reflect on it, it's clear that we have been out of it for quite a while. Despite that, he still managed to demonstrate some exceptional skills that stood out to me during the matches he played back in League One.

Match Discussion: Game 43 - Red Dragons (A)
Wow, what a free kick from John Bostock! I was initially expecting Jim O'Brien to take it, but I'm glad Bostock found the back of the net. O'Brien was fantastic going forward, and his ability to win the ball back was invaluable. His presence in the first half was crucial. Unfortunately, Ruben Rodrigues didn't contribute much, although he did well to win the free kick. The fact that he lost a tooth is a testament to how rough Wrexham were at times. Defensively, Notts were lacking when it mattered most, but in such a high-stakes game, it's understandable. I don't blame anyone, I just wish we could have come out on top.

Kyle Cameron and John Bostock shine as Notts County come up short against Wrexham
Notts needed to step up their pass accuracy in the first half. I thought Jim O'Brien did well to win the ball back at times and dart forward. Ruben Rodrigues offered little defensively; when it mattered, Notts were clumsy. Good goal by John Bostock!

Match Discussion: Game 43 - Red Dragons (A)
"When two tribes go to war. A point is all that you can score (Score them all, score them all)" - this Frankie Goes to Hollywood quote perfectly encapsulates the high-stakes clash between Wrexham and Notts County. I know that this match is going to be an absolute must-win if we are to keep our title hopes alive. Wrexham is a strong opponent, and we're expecting a farce contest. It's going to be a classic game that both teams will look back on, regardless of the final result. We need to put our best foot forward and leave everything on the pitch. We're not just playing for the promotion, but also for the pride and glory of our beloved club. It's going to be a nerve-wracking experience, but we have full faith in our players to deliver the goods. Ultimately, a point may be all that we can score, but we'll be pushing for all three. Let's hope that this game lives up to its hype and gives us something to cheer about. Come on you Pies!

Notts County receive encouraging update on Sam Slocombe's fitness ahead of Altrincham game
100% Sam Slocombe is needed, with all due respect to Mair, Notts needs to stick with the experience if he's able to play without issues.

Match Discussion: Game 40 - The Iron (H)
I thought the entire squad played well, given what they were up against. You can only beat the team in front of you, and Notts did it in style. I think Jim silenced his critics with his performance, even though Scunthorpe were poor, he showed his class and helped drive Notts forward. 4-0 flattered Scunthorpe United, as Notts could have easily scored several more goals. Their keeper, who they brought in on loan a few hours before the game, was very weak. His kicking was hilarious!

Match Discussion: Game 18 - Daggers (H)
Considering the coldness and television presence, both teams made it a good game. Dagenham caused a lot of issues early on, but defensively they did not cope as much with Notts. I think we lead the game quite luckily, as we did not seem clinical enough on goal. Their equaliser, I feel was well deserved and it was superbly taken. In the second half, Notts upped the ante and got their rewards when the winner went in.

Match Discussion: Game 15 - The Moors (H)
Ardley might send them out looking to sneak a win, but other than being hard to break down I don't think they will throw the kitchen sink at us. Notts needs to play to the time we have and just do neat passes. We'll draw them out and create chances, they just need tucking away. I have a feeling Solihull could get hammered.

Match Discussion: Game 39 - The Spitfires (H)
Confidence is growing throughout the squad, Dennis, Wootton, Roberts and Enzio looked to play forward when they could and they're lively. Great team performance.

Match Discussion: Game 37 - The Shots (H)
Start Tom Crawford and Jim O'Brien, rest Enzio and Roberts. Bring in Shields and Osbourne. Dennis and Thomas upfront. Load the bench with quality.

Match Discussion: Game 38 - The Bluebirds (A)
Fantastic win, but can't help but feel we played into their hands in the first half by being too defensive

Match Discussion: Game 24 - The Coasters (A)
Just to know the squad played well would be good in my eyes, we need the focus to be on the league. Eyes on the prize!

Match Discussion: FA Trophy - The Millers (H)
Enjoyable game, Notts should gave won easily and in glad they did. Thought the away fans were excellent.
-
Match Discussion: FA Trophy - The Glovers (A)
The referee sounds like he's being targeted by the Yeovil players, he seems to have handled this type of situation well but is issuing way too many cards. No control of the game. It looks like Yeovil are taking the game far too serioulsly. Notts needs to be careful.

Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Spireites (H)
2-1, O'Brien and Wootton. It will be a tough game, the cameras might add some further pressure. If Notts works hard the points will remain at Meadow Lane.

Match Discussion: Game 31 - The Whites (H)
Notts lacked grit, it was obvious to me that JOB could have offered that spark. I thought Tyson looked fired up, he chased everything and looked like a player who wanted to impress.
