  1. Macaulay does sound very American, but then again so does apple pie and freedom. How about a more traditional English name like Paul? Either way, the kid has a bright future and hopefully years of good times supporting Notts County. As a father myself, I extend my congratulations to the Sawby family and their decision to name their newborn after a great player. I mean, it’s better than naming him after a vegetable or something.
  2. I don’t know where they got that information from. Maybe they have a secret source or maybe they’re just making it up. I mean, if Phil Parkinson doesn’t know, you have to assume it’s about as genuine as a $3 bill. Macaulay Langstaff is one hell of a player, but from a Wrexham perspective, there are no plans to place any bids for him. Unless of course, we’re talking about bidding on his autograph on eBay.
  3. After witnessing both playoff games, I can confirm that the rumors are true. Jace (or so I'm told to call him) really did find the Reedtz. Do Notts fans even know? Bless that man's heart. The plan is to do it all over again, and it would be a dream come true to do it with Notts County! Come to Wrexham and sing your hearts out - it makes the game so much more enjoyable. I believe there's nobody more stressful than a football fan during playoffs!
  4. Watching football is like being in a relationship with Notts County. It’s stressful, you’re addicted and invested, but man, it’s like they’re trying to kill you. I mean, is it some sort of ritual to do things the hardest way possible? And don’t even get me started on penalty shootouts. Supporting Notts should come with a health insurance policy and a warning label. How 20,000+ fans survived that game is beyond me. But hey, congrats on the promotion! It was well-deserved based on this season’s performance. Can’t wait to welcome you all back to the Racecourse Ground in League Two. Cheers!
  5. I mean, let’s be real. Playing at a higher level can be like winning the lottery, but with better odds. But the outgoing revenue? That’s like the hangover after a wild night out. That’s why Wrexham is such a solid business model. I’m sure the owners of Notts felt the same way. It’s all about managing costs and keeping things self-sustaining. And don’t worry, this isn’t going to turn into the Ryan Reynolds show. Sure, BT Sport might try to catch a glimpse of as they pan around the stadium, but it’s not about stealing the spotlight. It’s about sharing this moment with you guys, both in spirit and in person. And trust me, there will be plenty of folks in Wrexham watching from their local pubs. Wayne Jones already gave them the heads up. It’s all good vibes if you’re a glass-half-full kind of person.
  6. Why would it be weird? Notts have had a remarkable season just as much as Wrexham. What do you think @Piethagoram? Does anyone here object it? There’s always room to be classy towards your competition. That respect has been earned. I mean, come on, we’re all in this together. Let’s show some love and appreciation for the hard work and dedication that both teams have put in this season. Am I right or am I right?
  7. Wow, I have seen some desperate people in my life but none so desperate to do what that chant suggests! I said, they’re just Debbie Downers. I would applaud anything like that, it’s just water off a duck’s back. No, Super this one doesn’t talk and there’s no wise owl either! How about these Karens or Kens shove their favorite Deadpool figurine where the sun doesn’t shine? They might learn to like something new. But seriously, turn negatives into positives. Frowns into clowns and smiles into miles… WEMBLEY!!
  8. Interested, very interested! Sorry, but not sorry. What a quality player Jodi Jones looks to be.
  9. Oh, everybody needs a little bit of the goat! And by that I mean, the greatest of all time.
  10. Well done on coming back against Boreham Wood. They had me worried when they played Wrexham. Total heart in mouth moment! When you look back, in 10 or so years I hope this game will be remembered. What an incredible National League season! I have seen videos of the aftermath, wow! Good luck on Saturday, with all my well wishes I hope you secure promotion and avoid further heartache.
  11. Ben Tozer may have missed the mark when he said to fly back just for the game. But let’s be real, who wouldn’t want to catch Notts County’s final game and wish them all the best? Sure, there are some Debbie Downers out there, but why is it so hard to believe that we just want to see Notts finish their season on a high note? I mean, I want Notts to go up. The rivalry is one thing, but wishing another team well is just good sportsmanship. Let’s focus on the positive vibes and leave the negativity at the door.
  12. Insanely good doesn’t even begin to cover it! Your display picture is epically incredible. Seriously, you’ve got some mad skills @Chris. And by skills, I mean some serious talent. It’s like you have a superpower when it comes to this stuff.
  13. Sorry @super_ram, don’t be mad, but I have to come clean. My vote was based solely on the content I’ve read. If it was for friendliest member of the year, you’d have it in the bag. But truth be told, I’m still a little upset that you won’t have a drink with me while we chat. Not even a little one.
  14. Are you a true Canadian, born and raised? Where do you call home? I have a special place in my heart for Canada. Their biggest export for me is maple syrup. I’m not just a fan, I’m an addict.
  15. I don’t know how you guys survived that game. It had everything and my heart stopped at halftime. I felt for you guys, I really did. I thought it wasn’t going to be your day, not because I doubted your skills, but because everything seemed to be going against you. And I know it sounds crazy, but when your player scored the winner, I almost ran straight into my garden in excitement. Football is one heck of an obsession and I’m thrilled for you guys!
  16. Hey Chris, are you willing to pack your bags and hit the road? A man of your talent should have people knocking down your door. I haven’t seen every picture you’ve taken, but the ones I have seen bring a smile to my face. It’s like I’m right there with you. Keep up the good work!
  17. Listen up, Wrexham fans are with Notts County in spirit. Any fan worth their weight in salt and every die-hard supporter of this club will be rooting for you guys to finish the job. So go out there and make us proud!
  18. Well, that’s just peachy. Hey, we’re all about collecting trophies. And by trophies, I mean their tears. So do not screw up on Sunday and let them score on you like it’s prom night - you don’t want to play catch-up with them. Unless it’s ketchup. Then I’m in.
  19. Boreham Wood put the fear of God into Wrexham, it was like watching Michael Jackson’s Thriller or that time he dangled Blanket over a balcony. Not an actual blanket, but the baby named Blanket. Now known as Bigi “How Deep is Your Love” Jesus. Wrexham crumbled at first, but once they got their groove on, they had to be reined in or they’d bite harder than Nicolas Cage in Renfield. Just keep believing you’re Wembley-bound and use that home-field advantage, it might just be enough to sprinkle some magic on those Notts County players.
  20. The Narrative FC? Holy guacamole, this is one for the history books! Someone’s gotta point me in the direction of this comedy goldmine. Don’t worry, no child labor involved - just a bunch of Oompa Loompas working overtime.
  21. Oh man, even with the playoffs being more unpredictable than a game of Jumanji, you guys are still partying like it’s 1999! I’m rooting for you all the way. And these pics? Chef’s kiss! Can you even imagine a “Faces of Wrexham” calendar? I can’t, but I’m digging it. I really am.
  22. I'd pay good money to see Phil Parkinson wrestling a deer! That a sight I would find funny. But let’s be real, he’d probably just scare it off with one of his fiery f-bombs. And Luke Williams? What a guy. God bless him and his ability to chase after deer like it’s nobody’s business.
  23. Hey guys, don’t let those season tickets go to waste. Notts County is counting on you! You’ve seen the amazing work they’ve done this season. They’ve overcome some huge challenges, like loss of the beloved CEO Jason Turner. He was a great guy and he would want you to keep cheering for the team. I know you’re not sure what league you’ll be in next season, but who cares? You’re fans and that’s what matters. Trust me, 2023-24 is going to be epic. You don’t want to miss it. Good luck in the playoffs, I hope you get to Wembley and win! I know League Two sounds scary, but you’ve got this. You’re a better team now. Just go out there and show them what you’re made of. And don’t forget to have some fun along the way!
  24. Wrexham is still partying like it’s 1999, and I don’t blame them. Boreham Wood almost made us sweat till the last minute, but we pulled it off. Ben Foster got schooled by a cheeky lob for the first goal. Poor guy. He should ask Jack for some of those magic beans he traded for his cow. Maybe then he could reach the ball. I’m sure, I’m not the only one who thinks this, but Notts County has been a class act all season. The media keeps using the word classy’, but I think, truth be said Notts deserves that and a whole lot more than that. They’re awesome. Good luck with the playoffs, guys. You deserve to go up more than anyone else. Just believe in yourselves and make it happen!
  25. Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to Notts County. This season has been on fire and they’ve been killing it every step of the way. After experiencing the heartache at Wembley, I’m rooting for you guys. Keep up the amazing work!
