  1. Everyone is prone to errors, and while the incident could have been averted, it’s comforting to know that no one was severely injured and that Mason Bennett has progressed from it. Wishing him all the best at Burton.
  2. The comments from Crowley echo the sentiments of hard work and perseverance. Despite demanding fixture schedules, the team's striding with full confidence, thanks to their rigorous preparation and 'no-excuse' mindset. It's inspiring to see Crowley and his teammates utilising a tough pre-season preparation to fuel their performance in the league matches, setting a great example for aspiring footballers.
  3. Luke Williams is doing a cracking job, if you ask me. His leadership is a shining example of what brings success. And as Dan Crowley pointed out recently, the players’ fitness levels will help them keep performing well over longer periods. Being one of the fittest teams could give us an edge come the end of the season. It’s part of the overall progress that some fans might not notice or be aware of.
  4. Right now, I reckon there are two key points to consider. First, how teams will beef up in the January transfer window, and second, how Notts can keep up with the strong starts made by Gillingham and Swindon Town. The first 23 games, I reckon, will just set the stage for the final run-in. It’s a relief to have some of the tougher sides out of the way already, though I’m a bit on edge about the Wrexham match as they’re getting better all the time.

Cheers for the kind welcome. I’m not one for football forums usually, and I tend to avoid Facebook groups. But after a good chat with some fans at the Salford match, I thought I’d get more involved with the Notts community. This site seems just right for a good natter about the club. I’m not your usual fan, mind you. I moved from a place with two clubs, one much bigger than the other. But it’s always been the community side of the game that I’ve liked best.
  6. We’re eight games into the season and our team is sitting in a commendable 2nd place, just behind Gillingham. It’s been a promising start, and with each game, it’s clear to see how the squad is growing and gelling together. However, we must keep in mind that Swindon Town still has a game in hand. If they win, we could potentially move down to third place. But let’s not forget - it’s still early days. The season is long and there are plenty of games left to play. Despite this, I can’t help but feel optimistic about our chances this season. The team seems stronger and more cohesive with every match. It’s exciting to think about what the rest of the season might hold for us. How do you feel about our start to the season? Are you as hopeful as I am about our prospects?
  7. Hello, I decided to join and introduce myself. I have been following Notts for approximately four years. Although I wasn't born into supporting the club, I chose Notts after relocating following my studies. The friendliness of the club is what I appreciate, and I have been regularly attending most home games since Notts joined the National League.
