Galinson invests millions as Gillingham's losses increase

Gillingham’s latest accounts reveal an increase in recorded losses, which now stand at more than £13m.

So is sustainability key or do you risk £5m a year in debts for however long and hope it works? Or do you build prudently like the Brothers?

Personally, I support Prudence. (She could also do a shift in goal if pushed!)

I do think that sustainability is important to keep a reign on the purse strings, but I would like to see the owners consider inviting further investment into the club by a third party.

I would prefer Notts present owners to retain a majority shareholding, but to get out of League 2 & maintain a place in League 1, more finance is going to be needed to compete with other clubs in this day and age.

Proud to be a supporter for 58 years & counting of the oldest professional football club in the World. COYP
