French team Clermont have appointed a female coach to help the team survive in Ligue 2.

What are you thoughts on women managers? Would you accept one at Notts?

If they know the game and can prove themselves to be good managers, I wouldn't see why not.  I wouldn't agree with trying to get female coaches to match that of the population, as there just aren't that many women who would be up for the job.

She may want to borrow my walking sticks!

Why not? In fact the 'manageress' with Cheri Lungi (helps that she was/is ridiculously attractive!) was a superb programme!

In real life, as long as the common sense approach is taken and she achieves results, then go for it.

always concerned me with Hope Powell coming to Notts though. nothing to do with her as a women, more her management style. Since she left the England job alot of players have revealed she wasn't great to work for! I always expected Ray to try this as a publicity stunt!
