If you are in need of some Christmas cheer to make you laugh this Xmas Eve, just look at the Notts headline in The Post.

Roy Carroll says he has banished all talk of the playoffs amongst the players to keep their feet on the ground.

 

He seriously needs to look at their recent performances and take off the heavily rose tinted glasses if he seriously thinks play offs are with in reach. Closer to the relegation zone Roy. Sorry to break it to you.

 

Maybe a new manager and backroom staff might help!

if they go into away games dreaming of the play offs somethings wrong at home we may very well be a play off side or top 3 side.

But away from home we are a bottom 4 side and for me Carroll should be dropped for Loach he's not the same player he was last year commanding his box and so on.

Ive said it before you all know my opinions moniz doesn't understand how this league works he has had months and months to grasp it and hasn't there is zero point in winning one game then losing 3 away.

we will be 9points off the play offs I believe if we don't win this week dn and depending on teams below us we could easily be 18th.

If I was Ray I'd seriously look at this table and say right if you don't win at Hartlepool you're going becuase it's nearly Januray we have spent stupid amounts of money.

And we haven't been above 11th all year  have we I know the manager list isn't amazing as people keep saying but I believe anyone who knows this league and has managed in it would soon turn our team around to the basics required.

I mean look at Sheridan at Newport bottom and doomed all of a sudden went 10 unbeaten and was unlucky at our place not to make it 11.

Id seriously be tempted to approach Mark Cooper and tell him he can have control of the squad the players he wants and allow him to do a job or anyone who would be good at this level

Perhaps he should explain that they can take their feet off the ground if they need to jump to head the ball.
