Notts 2 v Crewe 0

Featured Replies

Notts County extended their unbeaten home run to seven league matches with victory over struggling Crewe.

County had already hit the crossbar before Johnnie Jackson released Luke Rodgers to stride forward and slot home the opening goal for the Magpies.

Craig Westcarr added the second, firing in to the bottom corner from distance.

Kasper Schmeichel's penalty save from Steven Schumacher added insult to injury for a Crewe side who have now lost seven of their last eight games.

Match Report

We seemed on top pretty much most of what I've seen, sadly it's only what's been shown on tv via various media. I'm not sure on the penalty as it looked quite soft, what was it for pushing? Either way kasper seemed to be on top form and everyone else pushed for the result.

A field where dreams become reality.

The players seemed to really have their heads in it, which is a good improvement! I was highly impressed with Kasper's GKing...I agree with you Joey, what was with the penalty...neithere me or William saw anything wrong with it really! But there were some daft decisions in regards to penalties and sendings off during Saturday and Sunday's matches! I really think that refs should be taught again the rules, for which require a pen or sending off!
