Agony for Welbeck as he suffers broken ankle

So tonight Arsenal needed just one point to guarantee qualification to the round of 32 in the Europa league which was achieved but it came at a cost. 

Arsenal manager Emery says that Welbeck has suffered a ankle break. 

Just 25 minutes In to the game Welbeck tried to connect with a cross but landed  awkwardly and start straight away riving in pain. 

He was given gas and air on the pitch to help with the pain he left on a stretcher with his right leg in a brace team mates and sporting captain  Nani a former team mate of Welbeck didn’t leave Welbecks side during his treatment. 

He was taken to hospital for further treatment the type of break and how long he is out for may not be know for a while. 

I wish him all the best at times like this the shirt they wear is forgotten and you can’t help but see them as a person a human.
