  1. David McGoldrick will have hopefully saved up. He’s had a good career and more players like him should try to help their boyhood clubs if they are still good enough. If not, a nearby non-league team just for the fun of playing.
  2. I like what Jim expressed in his interview. He’s a calm head but has a fiery passion that makes you warm to him. His rage at times when he makes runs but doesn’t get spotted can be quite funny. If Notts stuck a camera on him for a whole game, fans would see what I mean.
  3. It’s not the biggest step up, but fair play to him. He wanted a change and I don’t blame him. He helped massively to get Notts up into League Two and for that, I respect his decision to move. Despite it being sad to see him leave!
  4. I wish Ruben all the best. I think after his night out with the lads, it seemed like a final goodbye because he just went for it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s still not hungover. ????
  5. Welcome home, David McGoldrick. We are thrilled to have you back and will give you our full support. We know that you will give it your all and put in every effort you can. We are happy with the signing and your comments have been great.
  6. Best of luck to Notts County’s Tiernan Brooks as he represents Ireland U21 in Austria!
  7. I don't have many memories of him as a footballer. What I do remember is him taking photos in the club shop and his big, fuzzy hair. It's surprising to learn that he played so many games for Notts. I wish him all the best.
  8. I believe the tactics are not far from being improved. Once we have sorted out all the signings, that will be a start. It clearly works for us and Luke Williams. It might be a case of giving the centre-backs less freedom moving forward or beyond the halfway line. However, the more we can sit on the ball, the less we will need to rely on defending. Keeping the players alert can involve working harder on leadership and communication.
  9. I’m excited to see what the future holds for Notts County under the Reedtz brothers’ ownership. They have already brought success back to the club with promotion to League Two, but I believe there is potential for even more success in the future.
  10. The ups and downs of these teams remind us that nothing is certain in football. It’s a game full of surprises and anything can happen on any given day.
  11. Congratulations on the arrival of your newborn and for choosing such a wonderful name! Running past defenders, scoring one or two, he looks good, he looks fine. Maca Langstaff’s on my mind and he’s County’s number 9. ????
  12. Jodi Jones is an exceptional player with the ability to alter the course of a game in a single moment. His flair and creativity on the pitch are unparalleled, and he has a knack for scoring breathtaking goals. During his loan spell, he was widely regarded as one of the league's top performers. I am thrilled that he has now signed with the club on a permanent basis.
  13. Jodi Jones is a gem of a player who can change the game in an instant. He’s got a lot of flair and creativity and he can score some spectacular goals. He was one of the best players in the league during his loan spell and I’m over the moon that he’s signed for Notts County permanently.
  14. The team has shown that they can compete with the best, and they have the potential to finish in a strong position. Notts has consistently delivered outstanding performances on the field, showing incredible skill and determination. With their talent and dedication, they have what it takes to secure a strong finish and compete with the best.
  15. Jodi Jones is a class act. I hope he stays at Notts.
  16. I think Notts will win, I just don't think it will be a result that massively helps as I think the other clubs will do well too.
  17. Notts have to win this, I would take a draw but I just don't think its good enough at home.
  18. This was a game Notts should have won and with tonights victory over Carlisle, it makes me more disappointed TBH.
  19. Get in there Notts! People who call Hemmings will be in love and creeping now. ????????‍♂️
  20. A draws a draw, nothing wrong with that if 100% is given but better defending is needed against Tranmere. I hope Neal Ardley has a clear plan of action.
  21. Match day! hoping Notts can pick up the first 3 points away on the road with Neal Ardley.
  22. I think Notts need to be stronger and more careful on the ball than they usually are. Tranmere have improved a lot since returning to League two, they look a good side on their day and Neal Ardley makes me unsure. I hope he can get them playing well but I think it will take time.
  23. Think people wont because of how dull the game was, Notts and Morecambe was equally as poor as each other.
  24. I have a good feeling about today, I think Notts will do well.
  25. Another three points and I will know I am dreaming! ????
