  1. It was very cold there, I think Notts never really attacked like a team that would score but defensively they was perfect. A few key moments where luck struck for Notts for a change, Matt Tootle nearly scored an own goal but Ross Fitzsimons looked in the zone warming up. I think the fans who keep trying to encourage played some part too. I'd do it all again to see the point, that's how good it was. It felt like we win even though we hadn't.
  2. Notts needs to get the balance betwen attacking and defending, it's very, very cold here. It could go either way with how both teams are playing but I feel Northampton have been a little better, they have gotten on top of the game at times and created good chances. I am happy because I am seeing plenty of fight.
  3. Good idea by the club to do the reserve games, it's good to see how they do and I think you can learn from games like this.
  4. I just want that first win now, I don't care how or anything of the other stuff. Harry Kewell needs that win on Saturday and it's a must. Its the only way I see performances away from home improving.
  5. I agree, the improvement is there to be seen as is the remaining issue. I don't think you can always buy yourself out of trouble like Notts have done with the defence but it's time to look at Fitzsimons and ask is he good enough this season? The answer is no I believe.
  6. Great to see the pictures of the fans, some excellent ones in there too!
  7. It should have been a win but I am not going to complain, I think the improvement is there for all to see and the issues at the back isn't just going to be a quick fix like signing a new defence seems to be. Some well taken goals too, I just hope this is the start of better to come.
  8. I think Notts snatch a 2-1 win. I am hoping this will be the case come Saturday, I want the losing streak to end and will try to be a positive influence throughout the game in the stands.
  9. Terrible performance, worse than under Kevin Nolan. If any of the fans who wanted KN out attend and said Kewell had them playing better, well it would prove how deluded some can be.
  10. It will take time, there is no easy fix but the early signs could be better in all honesty. I don't expect instant success or a miracle but the changes in tactics has made the players weaker, throwing too many forward going for a second at 3-1 down is crazy.
  11. I am pleased each time Notts got pegged back that they managed to take the lead again, it was a good performance by them and the formation change could have made it hard for Notts to defend. I don't really know, but I do feel it needs to improve. My comment which seems to have taken offence to one member was posted immediately after they scored, I was very frustrated but I would defend my view point. I don't feel I deserved to be abused verbally like that and it was more than a little out of hand as @Fan of Big Tone would suggest. I won't post simple as that. Apology or no apology I wouldn't accept it.
  12. 2-2!!! Can Notts please learn to defend, it's a joke. We won't win any games with defending like this.
  13. 2-1 Stead shows his worth. People will be wanting him to start against Yeovil now he's scored, Notts seem to be playing well. Good game so far.
  14. Same old Notts, are we sure Fitzsimons isn't Collin in disguise?
  15. I'm getting nervous myself. Notts look good when they lead but I worry about what if Cambridge take the lead? I'm unsure the players will respond well to it.
