  1. Some of our fans have been saying that we only beat Doncaster Rovers because they were so poor. Surely, they didn’t go to the match? We may have had a bit of luck at times, but the referee seemed to be on their side. So, Notts still had a lot to do. It was a confident performance in the second half. Even if we didn’t take our feet off the gas, someone out there would complain.
  2. It was never a concern, those on social media calling him are the usual suspects and it is not believed that many of them even attend games. Langstaff has goals in him, he possesses that striker's instinct to put the ball away and he almost turned nothing into something when he got onto the ball which could have seen him score a third. He thrives on chances, so undoubtedly when he gets more, plenty of other goals will come his way.
  3. We've got this! It's like being at home with all our constantly signing, it's for Notts to use this as fuel to perform well.
  4. A player's return to an old team can stir a cocktail of emotions. In this case, however, it seems nothing but respect and professionalism on Bostock's part. It's fascinating and inspiring to see his commitment to Notts County.
  5. Grimsby Town started the game brightly, but for a spell Notts looked quite comfortable until they took the lead in the 17th minute. John Bostock leveller was brilliant, as was Jodi Jones' trouble cross. The winning goal, I can still feel the stands being sent into raptures. Great win!
  6. Notts are fortunate to have a significant number of fans who support the team not just for their victories, but out of loyalty. This loyalty, as described by Nigel in this article, is often rooted in family ties. That’s why it’s important for us to remain a family-oriented club.
  7. I used to go by the name DeadlyDennis, but I have since changed it to Macca. Both @NottsTastic and @KingWilliams suggested that I get involved. It was frustrating to watch Kristian Dennis struggle to play, only to leave once he finally got his chance. However, the club is in a much better state now.
  8. I just want to see Notts win, relegation would hurt but the fight has been there despite what some fans think.
  9. Good result but Notts needs to find some form before I believe survival is possible.
  10. I would take a draw, it would be a good result. If Notts win I will think I am dreaming or that Christmas has come early!
  11. Make this two because I joined because of my mate.
  12. Mix the squad up a little, drop those who performed badly against Colchester and Cambridge. See how to improve the back. Kellett could be given a chance.
  13. Please can Notts just start with Hemmings and Dennis.
  14. @NottsTastic told me to join, so I checked the site out.
