Match Discussion: Game 11 - The Glovers (A)
The old saying back to basics comes to mind. Set the team up from the back to front, Patterson needs better protection and cover. The defending needs to be for 90 minutes. I can see it being a another disappointing game I hate to say it.

Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Robins (A)
There does appear to be something with Ruben Rodrugues , I agree with that. It could be mostly a lack of form, but he does seem to pant a lot and avoid running at least in the last two home games. His attacking play has slowed down to almost walking with a slight burst of pace. Whatever is going on, Ian Burchnall eyes and staff will need to identify it.

Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Robins (A)
Putting aside the display against Maidenhead, Notts have been good so far and part of this is down to having the squad settled. I wouldn't change anything, other than what has been forced. Ciaran Brennan will come in for Kyle Cameron who I think will be a big loss. I would still give Cal Roberts the start, but I do think Notts needs to rely less on his ability to make things happen at times. Allowing him some freedom could help, especially with Ruben Rodrigues not quite playing to his standard.

Match Discussion: Game 6 - The Stones (H)
The win is the main thing, Wealdstone made it difficult for Notts but at 3-1 it never looked likely to end any other way than a Notts win.

Match Discussion: Game 6 - The Stones (H)
I am hoping Kyle Wootton gets a little more support, he could do a lot more if another striker was thrown up in support. A little too much reliance on Cal Roberts and Ruben Rodrigues for my liking, yes they can win games but strikers are what finish them.

Match Discussion: Game 5 - The Terras (A)
Notts are in good form at the moment, but I wouldn't want to underestimate Weymouth. They are the home team which will have some advantages, Notts just has to make sure Rodgrigues, Roberts and Wootton get enough of the ball. I am hoping that a clean sheet can be completed, as it would benefit the defence and Slocombe.

Match Discussion: Game 4 - The Shots (H)
Disappointed to go 2-1 down to them, but the fight to get the win was good. I thought Roberts, Rodrigues and Lacey all did very well.

Notts County's new wing back Joel Taylor feels part of the squad already
I agree that settling in eases the nerves, I think the return of fans will help Notts out during this upcoming campaign. Joel Taylor sounds up for it.

Notts County head coach Ian Burchnall reveals transfer target positions update
Two key areas I see, having more quality in terms of goal scorers and players who can add height to the squad so that set pieces can be defended properly.

Notts County first summer signing announced as former Torquay United defender Kyle Cameron
Good signing, I think. He should be a top player for Notts.

Jake Reeves exits Notts County to sign for Football League club Stevenage
Difficult league to get out of if not promoted, so I understand and wish him well.

Notts County release 2020/2021 retained list
I think the club wanted to distance itself from the comments made by Moss on Enzio regarding him leaving, it will be clearly football related reasons but the PR effort has to be praised. I wish Enzio all the best with his career, as I do with the other released players.

Match Discussion: Game 35 - Red Dragons (H)
A win would take off some of the mounting pressure, but its all about improving the performances right now. Notts won't go far without addressing this issue and so far, there is little signs of attacking football.

Dion Kelly-Evans – An Unsung Hero
The talk of signing a left-back for me wouldn't sit well, how would Dion Jelly-Evans take this? He doesn't get much chance to play on the right side due to Richard Brindley and when Damien McCrory was fit, he played second fiddle to the pair. I feel he has done a respectable job covering a position which is considered to be unnatural to him. He's a fantastic little player with the right attitude, he deserves more appreciation I agree wholeheartedly with that.

Notts County manager Neal Ardley continues to access transfer targets
I would hope that at least one of the possible signings arrived as a permanent signing, with Wes Thomas departure that throws a spanner into the works a little but the budget should be able to pay a players full time wages whilst bringing in a loan.

Match Discussion: Game 13 - The Cardinals (H)
Good win, up to 3rd now and Enzio slowly got more involved as the game progressed. His pass to assist Kyle Wootton deserves some praise, he could've easily gone it alone.

Match Discussion: Game 13 - The Cardinals (H)
Tom Walker is an exciting player, if Notts gets him involved more it could unlock the game.
-
Match Discussion: Game 7 - The Shots (A)
The biggest question will be what will the players fitness levels be like? Defensively Notts cut off when the energy levels start to fade which leads to those mistakes we all know. I'm hopeful, but I see a draw to be truthful.

Match Discussion: FA Cup 4th Round Qualification: The Linnets (A)
2 further cases of COVID-19 at Meadow Lane, it means a bye is given to Kings Lynn and further games postponed. It's best to be safe.

Match Discussion: Game 5 - The Magpies (H)
I thought Notts played some really enjoyable football in the first half, but got caught napping at stages where Maidenhead managed to punish the poor marking. I was surprised by how easy Notts made it for them to get back into the game, no marking and no body pressing to get tight. This are fundamental mistakes which are the easiest to address if you can apply some discipline to players. You either get someone like like Michael Doyle to give the offenders a wake up, drop them or demand better during the game. Ruben Rogrigues looks to be a cut above those around him, but he needs to keep his head up when looking to pass the ball. Defensively, Notts played a rather poor game which is disappointing because of how good they started. Some could be down to fitness and the amount of games the players have had to play but it's not going to get easier. If 4 players have caught COVID-19, then it could only get worse so the defence must be at its best.
