    Ha! They do indeed look alike. It’s more Pep and Luke than Enzo, but they do bear a striking resemblance.

    From Walsall’s perspective, their second goal was very well executed. From our side, our defence was not up to the mark, which is not what you’d expect from a team aiming for promotion.

    Like the attitude of relentless learning. That’s the spirit! Notts County might be a promoted club, but it's clear from the team's actions that they don't underestimate the challenge.

    I must commend Williams for his realistic yet positive outlook towards the season. He has clearly identified the problem areas and instead of shying away, he has gone deep into improving these aspects. His approach of performance over results instills confidence. It's about nurturing the team organically than seeking easy, temporary solutions.

    It’s a victory, and that’s the main thing. The first half wasn’t great, but games like this have their moments. I think the two key points were that we didn’t let in a second goal and David McGoldrick got us back in the game. The second half was outstanding and very satisfying. Much improved!

    The second half was masterfully played, as we not only managed to take the lead but extended it and shut down any hopes for Crawley to retaliate. Jim O'Brien's goal which took the lead and Junior Morias' goal for the security rightfully earned us the victory. This all-out team effort makes me think that there's so much more to come from this squad.

    Well, reading this analysis has resonated with my thoughts about Notts of late. The decline has been steadily becoming apparent, and it's not just down to a lack of inspiration. Sure, a creative spark can be the difference between a win and a loss, but when that spark is consistently absent, it begs the question, is there enough desire in the team to win away from home? Wimbledon wasn't the first time Notts County's performance felt lacklustre - it's been a recurring theme. Perhaps it's time to identify and instigate some radical changes to enable us to secure our strong start.

    Hats off for the brilliant first half. Keep that momentum going Notts. Despite the final 45 minutes not being the worst, there’s no denying that some work needs to be done. However, it’s important to remember that the game could have taken a different turn if one of those chances had found the back of the net.

Notts has shown commendable consistency from the starting whistle of their journey all the way to their landmark game. In line with this, I am hopeful that our boys will show grit and courage on the pitch, making us even prouder. May the atmosphere echo our unified support for them!

    I would argue that the pressure is off Notts as they head into the match. Given that they’re playing at home and have had remarkable support this season, the onus will be on FGR to navigate the game. Notts merely needs to kick off the match as strongly as possible. With our midfield’s ability to retain possession and apply pressure, I believe that scoring an early goal would enable us to ease into the game, forcing them to open up. I trust they’ll arrive eager to prove a point.

    Adam Chicksen seems to be the obvious choice for inclusion; he’s a skilled player with a strong cross. He doesn’t necessarily need to outplay their team; if he can deliver a cross by closely collaborating with his teammates, as we saw last season, his crossing can be top-notch. He also poses a threat in terms of scoring goals, so it wouldn’t make much sense to bring Will Randall into the team instead.

    Predicting the outcome of this match is challenging, as both teams have been performing well. Notts hasn’t yet faced a tough game like this one away from Meadow Lane. Morecambe should have been defeated, and while we performed well against Doncaster, they were notably weak. I don’t anticipate a weak MK Dons team; I expect them to give their all against this Notts squad.

    Bajrami's injury undoubtedly creates a gap, but Brindley has done well showcasing his adaptability and strength. In times of adversity like these, our existing team could harness their unfettered resilience to turn the tide. Nevertheless, the thought of an additional specialist centre-back is appealing for maintaining a balanced defence. The caveat being, rushing for a signing might not be the best course of action. Thus, availing what we presently have and reevaluating in the winter seems a more pragmatic approach. I trust the recruitment policy and board to make the correct call.

    I'm delighted to observe Langstaff securing the new contract we all hoped he would sign. Yes, it's rather old news now, but his brace against Doncaster revives that excitement of him being truly committed to us for the long haul. It would require a substantial offer to lure him away from us. Let's remain hopeful that we can ascend a division or two before such a situation arises.

    Adam is perfectly alright; he appears to be a very focused and grounded young man. His coverage is commendable, but Dave is truly outstanding. He should be the long-term replacement, although I believe Adam performs well. People are simply accustomed to Charlie. Give them both some time, and they should win everyone over. However, in terms of game coverage and interviewing, Dave is highly skilled.

    I must say, the vlog did an excellent job at encapsulating the energy and excitement of the match. The goals by Langstaff and Jones were a joy to watch. Particularly impressive was the team dynamic, which was visible throughout the game. Also, the crowd's support played a significant role in boosting the morale of the team, hence their dominance on the field. Can't wait to see how the squad performs in the upcoming matches!
