World Cup in Saudi?
A vote without a vote: the Saudi World Cup is an act of violence and disdain | World Cup 2034 | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM The shamelessness of Fifa’s process was fully on show in Zurich during a display of contempt for governance, democracy, love, hope and good sense

@piethagoram.bsky.social on Bluesky BSKY.APP Just going down the Tube at Embankment this evening, must have passed a fellow #Notts fan heading eastbound on the District line, with a passing chant of U Pies!

Pedro Richards
To avoid confusion @Chris, I was particularly referring to, I think a descendent from Lloyd Richards, also named Jordon or Jordan...He was in the Notts youth team maybe 6 or 7 years ago... Anyone remember him?

Romelle Donovan's loan cancelled at Burton
January permanent signings are always difficult. Easy to pay over the odds. A quality loan might be in order if Dan goes

Girona : From amateurs to the Champions League
I think the catchment area is very important, look at FGR... hence their ambition is just a 5,000 all seater... The Girona story is reviving a club in a city 96k population but province population is around 800k... The key to success is using the City Groups analytics to find the gems

- Millwall Manager to step down
Mark Robins would be a good call @Robbie- Maynard interview The Sportsman
Apologies if this has been posted before A worthy look, even if to revisit- Notts County History Watch.
@nottsmemories.bsky.social on Bluesky BSKY.APP I can guarantee there are people out there with a still unopened can of “County Cola” - one of the worst beverages I ever tasted. Also notable from this pic the cages fans had to endure for a number of seasons...- Millwall Manager to step down
He may have found out he is being replaced? @Fan of Big Tone Can we sign Macca back for a pot of mushy peas?- Notts County History Watch.
@nottsmemories.bsky.social on Bluesky BSKY.APP Anglo-Scottish Cup Final 1st leg. We lost 1-0 and in the second leg drew 1-1 (Don Masson scored) meaning Chesterfield took the trophy. In the semi- final we got past Kilmarnock with a 2-1 away win and 5-2 win in...- Weekly Chat - Monday 9th - Sunday 15th December
@Fan of Big Tone I'm always right, even when I am wrong- Favourite mince pies

Millwall manager Neil Harris to step down from role this weekend | Millwall | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM The Millwall manager Neil Harris will step down from his role after Saturday’s Championship game at Middlesbrough- Aaron Nemane doing the business at MK Dons
Maybe the money offered by MK Dons was too good to turn down? I agree with @Robbie about his defensive duties.- Weekly Chat - Monday 9th - Sunday 15th December
Childhood memories, pic seems to be the view from Llandudno Junction looking towards Conwy Castle!- Football is a Squad Game Now.
@Robbie But I'm sure Stuart will delve into the transfer market in January to strengthen the squad even further, & we might see some players leave too. I would say Josh Martin will leave in January, Sanderson maybe too on loan if they can find a suitable club. I would also loan out Slocombe if Stone's loan isnt extended? Maybe Cundy would also be loaned out as he isnt getting the game time?- FGR new stadium
Dale Vince's FGR project I believe only happened when he failed to buy in at Cheltenham ( stand to be corrected). @DangerousSausage Car parks yes, but like at The New Lawn, their current stadium, buses are provided to "bus" supporters in. I think there are still plans to reopen a Stonehouse station on the Bristol main railway line too.- Pedro Richards
It's always a pity Pedro left #Notts on 399 appearances! @Chris "Pedro paved the way, and whilst there might have been some in the fan base back then less accepting, the majority took to the players for their ability and personality." The following season, there was a player Lloyd Richards hailing from Jamaica, who played for Notts. A descendant from him was in the Notts youth team not so long ago, also named Jordan or Jordon ? A squad photo from 1976 can be found here: Notts County FC - Season 1976/77 NOTTINGHAMSHIREFOOTBALL.COM- The Best Goal Scored in FA Cup History.
The best goal...end of???? I think I was stood just to the right of the photo!- An Alex Bass Masterclass.
Maybe an overlooked fact but I believe the signing of Bass probably didn't come cheap. "undisclosed fee"... maybe closer to 6 figures. If only we had him last season!- Notts County History Watch.
I used to stand on that terrace in front of the main stand, around the half way line. The crowd was 23,551 and me! - Millwall Manager to step down
