  1. It’s good value, and it would be interesting to know how many the club sells. It seems that the club only promotes this through their emails. I’m not sure how effective that is, but I would imagine that social media would be more useful.
  2. Blackburn Rovers 2 - 1 West Bromwich Albion Plymouth Argyle 0 - 3 Huddersfield Town Joker Carlisle United 1 - 1 Fleetwood Town Shrewsbury Town 2 - 2 Cheltenham Town Morecambe 1 - 0 Walsall Tranmere Rovers 3 - 2 Barrow Aldershot 0 - 1 Oxford City Gateshead 2 - 1 Boreham Wood
  3. I am looking forward to seeing East Midlands Today tomorrow. It will be good to hear the positivity that the media has for Notts right now; these are things I am enjoying.
  4. He’s a very good player and certainly someone who could improve the squad and be a key player. If he’s in form, all the better for us if he does sign. I hope he’s not just training with us.
  5. Jayden Richardson was mostly class; once he got going, teams struggled to cope, and I thought he would do well with Aberdeen. Good luck to him at Stockport County.
  6. I think there will be mistakes at times by both sides; it just depends on whom it will prove to be more costly towards. I can see a draw happening, which seems the most likely outcome. It would be nice if Notts could get off to a win, but the season can be a slow race, and a point on the opening day isn’t something to knock.
  7. This season could be an exciting one for Notts indeed. The pre-season revealed an impressive combination of sustaining a defensive stronghold and executing smooth attack strategies. Especially with the depth of the squad, and the evident team chemistry, it appears there is a high chance they'll rise to challenges. The diverse recruitment made for fitting substitutes for each position, suggesting a healthy rotation system.
  8. Good luck to Harvey Owen. It’s great when youngsters get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play for one of the best teams in England.
  9. I thought that Ollie Tipton looked useful when Notts played Telford. I really hope he can settle and contribute to our season effectively. I trust the club’s recruitment, so I am sure he will be useful.
  10. Hello, @Steveyward, Welcome to PON. Its a good community here.
  11. Hello, @David Shipston, Welcome to PON. Its a good community here.
  12. The Scottish Championship is close to the standard of Leagues One and Two, so I think the move is excellent for him. If he does well, Celtic, Rangers, Dundee, etc. will most likely show interest in him, as well as teams in the EFL.
  13. Excellent team photo, it’s always good to see these. It’s great that everyone in the photo works 100% towards bringing the club success.
  14. From what I have seen, he is a very intelligent defender, physically strong and with a decent level of pace. I don’t mind loan signings like this, as it makes sense to bring in someone who will have to work hard but isn’t guaranteed to start. He looks like a very promising player, so I hope we can help him on his journey while seeing the best from him on the pitch.
  15. Good luck to Andy Dallas. I don’t blame him for choosing League One and Barnsley. It could pay off nicely for him.
  16. Ian Burchnall could have been a good manager, but it seems he bought into his own hype a little too much. I don’t think Forest Green Rovers was a good move for someone with ambitions, as Notts were on the verge of chasing promotion and FGR looked dead set for relegation from League One. I can’t imagine it was a much bigger payday, but who cares now? We have Luke Williams, who is 100% better than Burchnall. Burchnall was decent enough, but his decisions in games weren’t always the best. His reading and tactics alone lost Notts points.
  17. Good singer, I think her move to America played a lot on her mind as people who have spoken about her, always mention London and how she liked being there. Rest in peace, may she finally rest.
  18. It's good to see a seasoned player like McGoldrick reiterating the importance of hard work and fitness. He seems to genuinely understand the responsibility he has towards the younger players and is keen to set a good example. His comment about being in the wrong game if you don't enjoy the hard work is absolutely spot-on. All the best to McGoldrick and the whole team for the upcoming season.
  19. Michael Doyle is a good option for the role. I wished he had managed to find a role at Notts, but after his departure for FGR, some fans might be inclined to feel differently. Personally, I think he’s a good coach.
  20. It’s fantastic how McGoldrick moved beyond the tackle, controlled it, and then unleashed a superb effort on goal. It’s a showstopper for a friendly; you simply can’t beat it.
  21. I think it’s a decision which FIFA needs to carefully consider. If they make a decision, it needs to be stood by, unlike the Olympics and some other competitive sports where they allowed it for a period and then simply didn’t acknowledge the period after changing their minds. I personally don’t have a problem with it, provided it’s within the fairness and professionalism of the game.
  22. Rest in peace, Trevor Francis.
  23. Welcome to the site and community, @George L, If you like talking Notts, you will enjoy the site. You may even make some friends.
  24. Super's affection for Notts and Derby County is impressively enduring. Anyone can fall in love with a football team, but maintaining that love through trials and tribulations, and it with kindness towards another club is a rare feat. His experiences at various matches with two different clubs were likely full of mixed emotions, and it impresses me how he accepts the highs and lows, seeing them as integral parts of supporting a football club.
