Notts Heritage 1862
It is great to see the Reedtz brothers and Notts working to bring more of the club’s history into Meadow Lane. This matters because we often take seasons for granted, especially when the team is doing well on the pitch. I hope fans who own memorabilia will be willing to loan those special items to the club at no cost. There are many collectors who hold winning medals and historic keepsakes that deserve to be shared with everyone.

The Need for Patience
Fans talk about promotion a lot, and that is fair. Yet the best route is to build a team that can stay competitive in League One. The coaching staff has earned time to mature the squad, and the owners appear to have faith in this project. Notts are not there yet, but the process is clear: smarter recruitment, steady development, and a sense of unity across staff, players, and fans. If we keep this course, not only will the club rise in the table, we will have a healthier club for years to come.

Fans Forum
I am not too bothered about the fans forum. I do not think we will learn much from it, and they often turn into long drawn out events. If you and your mates go along, it can be more enjoyable, but as an event it is not something I find very interesting. I would rather leave it to fans who want to be there.

Notts waiver of loan from Football Radar
This is very good news because it shows again the work the club have done to make things sustainable. By clearing the debt, it means we are now in the best financial position we have been in for years. It is a clear step forward, and I do not think the Reedtz would have done this if they felt more heavy investment was still needed from them. That does not mean they will not put in more of their own money, but it does show they are aiming to make the club stand on its own feet. They want the club to use its own resources well, which should leave us much healthier in the long run.

Rod McDonald’s Form: Too Good to Drop?
It helped a lot that Rod McDonald was playing well before Matty Platt got injured. It made the situation feel less worrying. Platt hadn’t been showing the form we know he’s capable of. When he does come back, there should be less pressure on him to perform straight away. Right now, there’s no reason to take McDonald out of the team. It’s good to see him looking so comfortable in his position.
