  1. Luke Williams' insights are indeed valuable, and his comments on Dan Gosling are much appreciated. There's no need for him to elaborate much, as most football enthusiasts are likely familiar with Gosling and his contributions to the team. Given his age, he is at a point where his peak performance and experience will enable him to excel, so it will be interesting to see his progress. Reflecting on Williams' remarks, he consistently provides a warm perspective on how he envisions a player's role and what we might anticipate. On paper, this appears to be an excellent signing, despite some concerns about injuries due to Gosling's past sidelining. However, he is expected to recover and become a significant influence on the team.
  2. Gosling seems incredibly eager to play for Notts and that's exactly the spirit we need. His respect for the club and its management, combined with his readiness to challenge himself in a new league, says volumes about his attitude as a player. A club can have all the talented players in the world, but it's the passion, drive, and determination that often makes the real difference. I, for one, am very excited to see what Gosling brings to the team.
  3. It's fascinating to see Notts County's journey through the Football League in such a tangible way. We're about to mark a historic milestone, our 5000th match, another feather in our already illustrious cap. Seeing our past landmark games brought back a lot of memories. Whatever happens in the Gillingham match, we're already a part of a historic tradition, and that’s something to be proud of.
  4. There's just something poignant about reaching this extraordinary milestone. It's as if Notts has journeyed through time, weathered countless storms, and yet stands stronger and prouder than ever before. The homage to our past is definitely something I hold dear to my heart, as it serves as a reminder about the illustrious figures who've graced our club, they're not just footnotes in history books, but giants whose studied stride and masterful plays have breathed life into Notts County.
  5. The PoN site is a superb online resource. As someone who doesn’t engage with social media, I’ve felt somewhat adrift. I have a preference for reading over watching, hence this site and the official one are two crucial components for me. It’s heartening to see the community making a comeback after what must have been a challenging ordeal.
  6. It’s indeed beneficial to be aware of the menu and activity streams. I’ll certainly utilise them during my site visits. The β€˜all content’ activity stream is a particularly nice feature.
  7. I found the content of the article to be spot on, and I shared your indignation upon discovering that the site had been compromised. I’m immensely grateful that the site is back up and running, and it appears to be loading more smoothly than before. The decision to not only relocate but also enhance the site was a wise one. Although I don’t typically participate in forum discussions, I felt compelled to do so after receiving an email notification about this incident.
  8. I couldn't agree more with this piece. The support of Notts County fans is what sets this club apart. Our cheers, chants, and roars make the experience of football so much richer, not just for us but for the players too. We're not just spectators, but active participants, and that’s the beauty of our relationship with the club. This symbiotic relationship is what makes football at Notts County so extraordinary.
  9. Hats off to McGoldrick for showcasing such a veteran display. His fierce attitude and exceptional football skills shone bright throughout the game. Despite the shift in momentum, the way he held his ground is a testimony to his superior game sense. This victory will surely send waves of motivation across the club. It's not just about being at the top of the table, but also about maintaining that position. The road ahead is long and tough!
  10. I must nod to our opponent's flair and adaptability. Their response to us taking a 2-0 lead, even though initially rattled, was inspirational. Each team had standout moments, I appreciate this thrilling encounter. It was a glimpse of football at its best - unpredictable, intense, and truly entertaining.
  11. I couldn't be prouder of Notts County's performance. The tremendous teamwork, resilience, and ability to respond under pressure was indeed commendable. It had its fair share of heart-stopping moments, but the grit and determination of the team helped secure that win. Seeing Langstaff and Crowley light up the first half and Bostock and McGoldrick step up during the critical moments of the second half demonstrated the squad depth and balance we have. Kudos to the entire team on maintaining the unbeaten streak!
  12. I can't help but admire and appreciate the indomitable spirit and tenacity exhibited by the Notts players on and off the pitch. It's clear that their success stems not just from talent but also from their rigorous training, a strong mindset and an unwavering 'no-excuse' mentality. Crowley's comments reveal the ethos that is driving their performances.
  13. I must admit, I'm excited by the transformation taking place at Notts. Luke Williams has introduced a style of football that's not only convincing on the field but is also a delight to watch. His commitment towards an attacking and attractive gameplay is laudable, and it clearly reflects through the team's effective style of play. The emphasis on teamwork and player cohesion have indeed turned the club into a formidable unit. Looking forward to the rest of the season, especially with the fuel of optimism emitting from Williams and the players.
  14. Kyle Cameron has amped up the game with his exceptional prowess. His goal against MK Dons was an absolute spectacle, the look on his face showed how much it meant to him. And I, for one, am glad his parents had it recorded, because that’s a goal we will want to watch again and again. His contribution to the team's positive run this season has been a standout. Looking forward to more engaging matches and stellar performances from him. Keep going, Notts!
  15. I agree with Williams' comment on Macaulay Langstaff. One has to have chances to miss them, and the fact he's getting them is nothing but positive. A real credit to Langstaff's relentless effort that he's getting into those dangerous positions regularly.
  16. All of us at Notts know what a sensational player Dan Crowley is, so it's great to hear he’s loving it here and relishing every game he plays. His comments about his fellow players only show what a tight-knit, encouraging environment exists at the club.
  17. While it may seem like Notts County merely managed a 1-1 draw, the result was indeed a commendable one. The excitement from the match is still palpable! The belief in Notts County has always been strong, and Cameron’s pivotal goal seemed like a manifestation of the team’s destiny. His contribution is a testament to the collective effort of the team, which is a reminder of why football is so beloved. It’s not just about the game, but also about the stories of unity, perseverance, and determination that unfold on the pitch. The anticipation for the next match, armed with this invigorating energy and alongside fellow Notts supporters, is already building!
  18. I was at Stadium MK for this match and I have to say, it was an absolute thriller! Both teams played their hearts out and it was end-to-end stuff for most of the game. Macaulay Langstaff had a golden opportunity to put Notts ahead in the first half, but unfortunately he failed to find the target. The second half started with a bang as MK Dons took the lead , but thankfully Notts showed great character to come back and level the scores. Both teams had chances to win it late on, but in the end they had to settle for a point each. A fair result in my opinion.
  19. Crowley’s statement is indicative of two things: His respect for the coaches and his fellow players. Success in football is as much about camaraderie and respect as it is about skill and tactics. Trust in your team's abilities, combined with efforts towards self-development, is the recipe for success. Clearly, Crowley understands this and is eager to improve under the guidance of the coaching staff. Keep it up, Magpies!
  20. I'm genuinely impressed by how well the team has been doing, especially after the rocky start we had this season. With Williams at the helm, every victory feels even more satisfying. He’s not just a manager but a leader who drives this team to be resilient and confident. Well done to him and our boys!
  21. I appreciate that Alexander didn’t just downplay the challenge ahead. He accepted that it's going to be a tough test. That's sportsmanship. This should fire the athletes up, knowing that they have the opposition manager’s respect. Notts will just need to do their best and work together to face MK Dons.
  22. This match highlighted the effectiveness of our offence and Langstaff was instrumental in it. He's unyielding, steadfast, and his scoring potential is now well-established. If he can keep this up, we might not just stay on top but create a substantial gap.
  23. Williams' tactical brilliance is absolutely shining through this season and this match just solidified it. He knew exactly what strings to pull to guide the team to victory. His attention to detail and instruction to really understand the opposition were commendable. He not only gives them the roadmap but encourages them to pull themselves back during tough situations, which is the mark of a great leader. That's the way we like it at Notts County!
  24. Luke Williams displays, time and time again, why he's an extraordinary coach. His steadfast faith in the team, even in the toughest moments, and his ability to bring the best out of each player are evidence of robust leadership. With Williams at the helm, Notts County continues their inspiring journey, leaving no stone unturned in their quest for excellence. He underscores the importance of sincerity, focus, and consistent performances for long-term success. Given the trajectory we're on, it’s safe to say Notts is in for an exhilarating season ahead!
  25. Presumably replicating Luton Town's success will require a certain blend of youth, skill, and experience. It's intriguing how our manager recognises this, adopting a realistic and astute viewpoint. His confident outlook, combined with a realistic assessment of what lies ahead, is assuring. As we venture into our first season in League Two, we are reminded of every challenge that awaits, but also every opportunity to defend our honour and elevate our status within the league. Onwards and upwards, Notts!
