MAGnets - links to Luton Town FC

So, picking up my old style of these threads, memories of plastic pitches aside - what does Luton Town remind us of.  For me, ID cards, David Pleat hop-skipping-jumping with Brian Horton, exective boxes that looked like a bus shelter, and - obscurely - Rob "hot prospect from Loughborough university studying Geography" Matthews netting a brace against them towards the end of 91-92.  This was part of our easter revival where we beat Coventry and Norwich in a mini-run, but ultimately was fruitless and simply helped drag Luton down with us to the "new" Division One.

 

So, onto the players.  It look a bit of thought this week, but there must be quite a few players that have played for both clubs?  Luton are a lot older than i'd realised so some players must have been shared over the years?

I went there in the early 80s when we lost 5-3, Paul Walsh got a hatrick and a Luton fan with a Glenn huddle perm came in the Notts end and wanted to fight us all, Happy days!!
