Dear NCFC fans,

Following on from the success of FITC's wine-tasting evening and based on feedback from fans, we've organised an informal evening of beer-tasting with Castle Rock and we'd love you to attend!

On Wednesday 6th July, fans will be able to try a range of Castle Rock's finest beers in the comfort of the private upstairs room of the local Embankment pub.  Castle Rock staff will be on hand to give some expert information about the chosen ales and answer any questions you may have as the event begins from 6pm.  Pizzas are half-price at The Embankment on this evening and after sampling some fine beers, fans will be able to remain in the room with their drink of choice where the first semi-final of the Euro's will be beamed onto a large projector.

Tickets are £10 (+£1 booking fee) and are available from; http://www.trap6events.co.uk/

All proceeds go towards Football in the Community's working-age dementia project for people within Nottinghamshire suffering from early-onset dementia.

Any questions please ask, we hope to see you for a beer on July 6th for a beer and some footy action!

Despite not being a 'beer' person myself, I think I know a few people who would enjoy this type of event. @super_ram

It's also something I could see certain people based in Germany enjoying (which is a shame).

Good luck with the event, I'll make sure we give this a guiding push to those that follow us also. Do let us know how things go, as I am sure not just myself would be interesting in hearing about how things are progressing with the Football in the Community.

Will do Notts-Joe thanks for the reply.

FITC are excited that we have just been awarded funding to run a women's working-age dementia project thanks to the Morrisons Foundation's generosity.

If you know any local women who may benefit from this project please get in touch!  0115 955 7215

Thanks for the well wishes for the event.  Former Magpie legends Les Bradd and Ian Richardson will be in attendance to share some of their favourite EURO memories with you and give their predictions on the upcoming semi finals, more names to be announced soon!

One more quick plug for any last minute takers tomorrow night now it's confirmed Wales v Portugal will be the game shown after the beer-tasting.

Tickets are available to pay on the door, hope to see some of you there at 6pm!
