Starting 11

Not only do we have players unavailable through call ups and injuries, we can now add another suspension to the list.

 

So for the next three to five games, I would make the starting 11:

 

                               Bialkowski

 

  Freeman        Liddle         Smith         Sheehan ©

 

                                 Boucard

 

 Campbell- Ryce       McGregor       Tempest

 

 

                         Murray             Haber

 

 

Subs: Speiss, Holt, Thompson, Waite, Coombes

 

I hope I haven't made an error in picking somebody unfit. But if possible that would be it for me. They keep the shirt until injured, suspended, or perform too poorly.

 

The others need to work to displace that IMO.

 

Some other points: If Hollis had been fit, he would replace Liddle, Liddle then replaces Thompson on the bench, (being dropped won't do him any harm)

I think my starting 11 would be a little different, though I certainly would try and find one as quickly as possible if I were Shaun. Inconsistency is a funny word, it depends on what makes a player perform to a lower standard.

I'd go for the old fashioned 4-4-2 as a formation.

Is Grealish injured? I hope not, I'd certainly wouldn't drop him.

Grealish, Boucard, Tempest, Haber and McGregor can't play as called up for internationals, game should have been called off by Notts (have the option if 3 players called up) and have sacrificed any chance of 3 points for a a big gate and money in the bank.

With all of those unavailable, that looks like our best 11. My point being we have to stick to an 11 for 3-5 games and see what it gets us, I fancy the players will step up, if they know they will have a mini run in the side.

 

If they don't then ship em out, they can't claim they weren't given a chance.

Apart from Boucard in for Fothers and Tempest in for Labadie, he went with my starting 11. feeling so proud of " my boys". Now then Shaun, bring in the other 2, and play the system I have put out for you, and I tell ya, we will be somewhere near firing on all four cylinders. stick with this for the next 4 matches and we should start to climb.

Yesterday I felt Danny Haynes could have made a difference, Haber nodded down the ball, held it up and tried but many chances he either wasn't bothered or ran around like an headless chicken. This said I wanted him to score because his performance was far from unacceptable and I'd say it was okay but had we have had a little more composer up front I think we'd have rocked them!

I'd like to see the same formation, just building forward. No point making ground to blast it back to your keeper, Derry appears to have shown 'em how to move forward.

I'm still very confident we can keep up.
