  3. Good to have you here on PON, so welcome @True Magpie.
  4. Great read! There's a good sense of unity in the squad, and I feel optimistic about the upcoming games.
  5. Stuart Maynard stepping up to steer the ship, solid appointment. Cameron's leadership is key right now, could stabilize the squad through this transition. Optimistic vibes only!
  6. Stuart Maynard sounds like a solid choice. Thrilled about the future of Notts County with him at the helm. Here's to ambition matched with results!
  7. It does seem like a significant improvement, but we must remember that performances can fluctuate. It’s simply a positive sign of the team’s ability to go to the top of the league, who are performing well, and we put on a good show. I believe Aidan Stone and Aden Baldwin performed exceptionally well. Macaulay Langstaff helped kick-start us, Jodi Jones was outstanding. I thought Dan Crowley did well, but I just wanted to see a bit more finesse from him. Thrilled for David McGoldrick, he always appears to be a danger.
  8. A tremendous year indeed! Wonderful to watch Langstaff's journey from non-league to League Two. His dedication, team spirit and determination are exceptional. Keep up the good work, lad!
  9. I respect how Williams balances professional and personal lives of players, especially during Christmas. It showcases his leadership vision and commitment to player well-being. This sincerity might just drive Notts County to greater heights.
  10. I wouldn’t be surprised if Neil Warnock returns to the game soon. He clearly has a passion for football. What a remarkable individual!
  11. It’s encouraging to see the club’s dedication to making improvements. Hopefully, these changes will enhance safety for fans and provide necessary support for those who need the rails.
  12. Let’s not admit defeat before the game even starts. Our performance could turn around at any time, and I’m confident the players will give their all. I’m not intimidated by Stockport County; they haven’t faced us yet and don’t know what we’re capable of.
  13. Hello, welcome to PON.
  14. Hello, welcome to PON.
  15. You can really feel Macari’s excitement! Adapting to a new team and style can be tough, but this guy has proven he’s up to the task. Way to go, Lewis!
  16. Fascinating news! Macari has shown significant potential during his loan, notably that shiny winning goal at Gillingham. Really looking forward to seeing him flourish with us until 2027!
  17. Defensive consistency is indeed the key. This echoes the old adage, 'attack wins you games, defence wins you championships.' Looking forward to strengthened performances in this area.
  18. Welcome @TT1970, one comment leads to two and before you know you are all in. See you around, PON!
  19. Participate, share your thoughts, and enjoy the process. Why concentrate on Facebook when your comments don’t carry much weight? Here, your comments contribute to the discussion and are likely to outlive Facebook, where people’s contributions may eventually be forgotten. This platform is quite unique, but it only works if people post and engage.
  20. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but we might be too small to manage such a thing with banners. The club has had issues with the KOP flag, which took a while to reappear after it vanished for a long period! I believe we need to establish ourselves as a solid League One club. I’m also uncertain if Notts fans can collaborate in this manner.
  21. Cameron's remarks are on point. A slight step-up and a more consistent defence could well put us on a track for automatic places. It's a good time to reflect on the season as we approach Christmas!
  22. I’m looking forward to seeing what James Sanderson can do, as everyone speaks so highly of him. However, we do have other promising talent on the brink. We need to ensure they are mentally ready and well-supported, and then give them game time. I hope we can do that.
  23. Enzio was a fleeting sensation, largely unexciting and mostly disappointing. I don’t doubt his pleasant personality, but I know of amateur players who would have performed more consistently for us than he did. Our dependence on him is part of what led to our downfall, as we didn’t have anyone better that season. It’s harsh, as he did make an effort, but how poor does one have to be to stand out in a squad like that?
  24. If I had to pick a player, I’d go for Dan Crowley. Matt Palmer and David McGoldrick are also strong contenders, but as the season has progressed, one player has truly stood out while the rest of the squad seems to have fallen behind.
  25. That was an excellent goal. It requires a significant level of skill to accomplish that. It’s not something that can be done casually or attributed to luck, but rather it’s a result of hard work and talent.
