McGoldrick screamer at Alfreton
It was a screamer. The way the space opened up, you just wanted him to have a go at the goal. I look forward to shouting at David to have a crack from outside the box. If this is the end result we can expect, it will be enjoyable.

Welcome George L
Welcome, @George L. The Pride of Nottingham has impressed me, and I hope it does you too.

More injury misery for Callum Roberts?
Cal Roberts is cursed, the poor lad. He doesnβt get a break, does he? Thatβs not intended as a pun. I thought he would be a significant player for Scunthorpe United this season, but if itβs a fracture, he could be out for some time. It could end his career, depending on the severity. I hope itβs not that serious.

David McGoldrick Scores in Notts County Pre-Season Win Over Alfreton Town
This 5-0 win with McGoldrick's fantastic contribution just amplified my excitement for the upcoming season! The way he described his goal, it's such an inspiration for every young footballer out there. Looking forward to an eventful season with Notts.

RIP Trevor Francis
Itβs saddening to see such an icon of football pass away at the age of 69. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Trevor Francis.

The Winning Formula: Luke Williams Talks Hard Work and Enjoyment
I really appreciate how Williams emphasises both hard work and enjoyment. No doubt this is a key to any team's success.

Notts Countyβs dominant performance rewarded with victory over Boston United
Interesting to hear Williams talk about how the team plans to handle future matches where the opposition resorts to defensive discipline. This game proved we've got what it takes to take down even the toughest of defences. I'm pleased to see the team's preparation underway and it certainly bodes well for the season ahead.

New Chief Executive appointed
I am pleased that the new CEO has finally been announced and appointed. I wish him well and hope he considers Meadow Lane as his second home.

Close season reflections and pre-season anticipation
I look forward to the break from football, but after a few weeks, I start to crave the distraction. I havenβt been up to much, just work and reading about Notts. The pre-season is always a good time to gauge how other fans feel. Football provides a break from the working week, a sense of release, and something to look forward to.

Drinks at Meadow Lane
This is simply the club attempting to secure the most favourable deal for themselves in order to maximise profits. Once this agreement concludes, we will likely return to Carlsberg or another sponsor. The club has a history of switching sponsors whenever the contract is up for renewal.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Pilgrims (A)
If you attend this friendly, please report back with your thoughts on the trialists and in general. I donβt mind what Luke Williams decides to do, but with players getting more minutes, it looks as if heβs pushing for his first team to gain the match fitness we need for the Sutton game
-
Ollie Tipton, Notts trialist at Telford
I wasnβt at the match, so Iβm hoping more supporters here will share their opinions on him. It does seem strange that we would have a player on trial who signed a deal with Wolves not long ago for 5 years. It must be a loan, right?
-
Where are they now : Marc Bola
In my opinion, this is a good move. He should receive an increase in wages, and if he performs well, even if he stays in Turkey for the duration of his contract, teams back in England should take notice. He will undoubtedly have options.

Sochaux head for bankruptcy
I hope Sochaux can survive their financial issues. It is terrible to see so many clubs suffering.
-
Scouting Dossier : Notts v F*rest
Nathan Claxton looked impressive. He was one of the trialists that I thought could do a job with Notts. I am not sure if he played against Telford, but hopefully, he is still around.

Southend Utd survive High Court hearing
It is disheartening to see teams struggle, and the suffering that Southend is experiencing seems never-ending.
-
Where are they now? Michael Doyle
Michael Doyle would be a good fit for Portsmouth. If he works hard and retains his role, there is no reason why he cannot become an assistant manager again. However, he should take the time to refine his skills to increase his chances.
