  1. I’ve got nothing to say about Forest. I believe clubs should be responsible for the money they use. I hope both they and Everton are treated the same as other rule breakers. It’s going to be a hard time for both clubs, but it sends a warning about spending too much. That is, unless you can afford lawyers to keep the league authorities busy, like Manchester City.
  2. Nowadays, health and safety wouldn’t let games like that happen. When the video starts, it seems like the field has just been ploughed. It’s very risky, but things were different back then. Did anyone spot the grass?
  3. Cheers to all who’ve taken a moment to greet me. I’ll aim to be as involved in the forum as my time allows. I’m thrilled to join the Pride of Nottingham. I look forward to seeing the results of everyone’s hard work.
  4. We’ve got two new players, but no centre back yet. Maybe the club thinks the new manager will alter the formation? I’d like a CB to join, but it might take time. Luca Ashby Hammond might have to wait for his debut, but I hope it proves his signing was wise. Otherwise, it could end up like the Ollie Tipton territory.
  5. Unfortunate Forest fans hoped for a point deduction for Everton, only to face one themselves. This was predicted by FourFourTwo on their YouTube channel 10 days ago. Manchester City escaping punishment seems odd. In my view, a 10-point penalty will likely relegate Nottingham Forest. Everton should manage to stay up.
  6. Changes are often appreciated when they prioritise content and ease of use. Judging by the feedback, this seems to have been accomplished. Unnecessary changes just for the sake of change are universally disliked.
  7. It took time to find a CEO to succeed the much-missed Jason Turner. I’m sure Christoffer and Alexander Reedtz hoped Luke Williams would stay longer. While they must consider potential replacements, having a list doesn’t guarantee they’re viable for the club. Despite our better position, there’s no guarantee. A manager might be loyal to their current club, or in Morten Dahm Kjaergaard’s case, the delay might be due to the move. I’m sure everything will be thought out. If I were to apply as a manager, I’d love to work with our current squad. I wouldn’t mind MDK or Stuart Maynard. Ideally, Maynard, due to his success with Wealdstone. He reminds me of Neil Warnock, just waiting for a chance to manage a league team. Andrew Croft, Matt Gill, Scott Lindsey don’t appeal to me. I hope we avoid them as they lack the character we’ve seen in previous appointments.
  8. The women’s team embodies all that Notts County aspires to, led by a captain who’s a devoted Notts fan. It’s hard not to wish them success. Plus, it’s reasonably priced football that’s fantastic for fans of all ages.
  9. Hello, I’ve joined Pride of Nottingham to concentrate on content and I’m keen to get to know the community better. I’ve been a Notts supporter my whole life, born in 1993. My real name’s Gavin, but you can call me Gav or True Magpie, whichever you prefer. I went to my first game in 1996, when I was just three. As for PON, I’ve been a long-time reader and active on social media. I was asked yesterday to consider this role, as it’s similar to my job, and I happily agreed. Gav, True Magpie.
