  1. i had it on loop after it was released, i think it would make a great screensaver!
  2. well done to @Piethagoram for winning the member of the year, thank you for all your effort.
  3. hes a very good player super, one of wycombes best players previously. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtis_Thompson_(footballer)
  4. as i said in the pon article, i praise it and think that its a kind gesture for them both to wish notts all the best. allow people to have their opinion, provided they dont try to argue with me or make our club look bad, their opinion is theirs to have. im delighted to see it.
  5. chesterfield can take 10k or more derby county fans, but we only need one @super_ram to match them!
  6. quality player, i thought when we signed him he would have featured far more and although he has not started many games i feel he is a must target. a player of his quality might be out of reach otherwise, i know some fans think he would replace ruben rodrigues but he would reduce the need on spending any fees. claw back some of that money wasted from allowing joel taylor to go and probably kairo mitchell who i suspect will be next. he can also fill in as a striker which i actually think would suit him well in a luke williams side, far more than when we have played ruben up top. hes best playing off the strikers imo.
  7. this is a brilliant read, all three fans summed up their account well and i can relate to each of them. i think colin sisson and his son, is a nice reminder just how far we have come. the emotion of the win did get the best of me, i think it did with many others but what a great moment for us all!
  8. it was one of those things which you would have had to see to believe, it was incredible when jodi jones scored but aden baldwin is the man who redeemed himself and shown why he such a key part of our squad.
  9. what a sign of support from them! ryan reynolds is a really nice guy! he has fallen for the football bug and notts magic!
  10. i am nervous too, but i am glad that i will be going with @CliftonMagpie and @TheSkipper. it should be a good game between two teams that desperately want promotion and although i do hope we avoid the same issues as we have seen against boreham wood. i think we will have moments naturally where it will come down to a quick recovery or needing sam slocombe to be an hero. every player, including chesterfields team will be excited about playing at wembley. i don't think either team will go straight for the kill, i can see it being quite slow. as @Chris we need to be 100% passionate and just wait for the players to get their grove. shouting nonsense at the players is not going to help and i hope those types stay at home. beleve and we should do well. langstaff to get a brace, ruben to get one and austin to round things off. my prediction being 4-2 to notts.
  11. the first goal should have been defended better, they only had one player in the box and all our players just fell asleep. second goal was worse from how awful it was given a way but they made up for it. they need to be more focused and alert at wembley. chesterfield are not the team we want to allow get in front like that. just keep the ball and move it, draw space and dont start rushing when everyone keeps losing it. play faster when its calm and nobody strays a pass so easily.
  12. i think this could easily be adapted into an article @Chris. there is not much i believe luke williams has done wrong, i cant think of anything that i would single out. i think his post match interview after the woking game was a little off for him considering we won 3-0 but i think he secretly still believed the title was slightly possible and just wanted his side to continue the form going into the playoffs. i wonder what he would have said about the boreham wood game if it was a league game? otheriwise i think hes the most all rounded manager we have had during my time supporting notts.
  13. brilliant pictures mate, these are absolutely great and its nice to see so many fans with happy faces. it must have been difficult during the first half and i would not blame you for not persisting but well done for seeing it through. i have never known anyone to be so optimistic about a team.
  14. yes, interesting but saddening. i like happier stories about the war personally because otherwise its just so dark. this is almost heart breaking.
  15. yes, i have travel and tickets all booked. i think the club and the fa could make this a whole lot easier. as buying your transport before your match ticket just seems strange but i could not risk not being able to get down. i cant wait mind!
  16. complete game changer, his presence gives the opposition so many headaches and multiple players who they need to mark which makes attacking a lot more lethal. i am pleased for him because he plays with a smile and just works hard, its hard to imagine anyone else like him being happy to be on the bench.
  17. i did not hide that i supported notts but in my teens at school, all i focused on was going and coming home. i have never been that good, so the likelihood of talking to someone about notts was like seeing forest survive the premier league drop this season. at work i do get banter and snide comments, usually only when notts loses or are having a bad spell. usually i counter it by reminding them about things relating to their team but i never get argumentative because there is no point. i dont wear shirts or notts clothing except for match days, i dont tend to have any issues and now that i drive there is even less chance.
  18. yesterday when boreham wood scored and their fans instantly piped up singing about them going to wembley, they got quieter and quieter the more the game went on. in the first half i thought they were incredibly loud at times and mostly in good spirit. but their wembley chants seemed very premature to me. first after both goals, then quietly in spells when notts were trying to get back into it. when notts sung it back, after jodi jones netted the winner it was very funny.
  19. i love stall, i dont care for charlie as hes all swag and annoying. brilliant reaction tho.
  20. always quality designs mate, very impressed with your ability and i wished notts fans would acknowledge your dedication more. i know you dont care about it, but compared to others that seek the attention and act as if what they do makes them famous. you are incredibly talented and it deserves to be acknowledged.
  21. i felt a bit fed up with how notts played in the first half, it became disappointing to see how poorly we defended and although i credit Boreham Wood for their pressure they were gifted their second. the first was a very well timed run and excellent finish, they deserved that but the game from a notts perspective needed more robust defending. a much better second half with goals coming right when we needed, i thought ruben rodigues struck a very poor penalty, he did not look confident leading up to it but i dont think anyone should really complain. jodi jones is just incredible and if we dont act to sign him he has shown others that he is class. strike whilst the iron is hot notts, get him on board.
  22. it should be a good game between us and boreham wood, i think seeing notts dominate with little play from them would be nice to see. i dont think i could handle seeing them give us any sort of scare but realistic, i do feel they will give us a game. notts just needs to be careful of their darker side.
  23. welcome to the pride of nottingham @nottsfan81.
  24. i think sunday would be the type of game where composure from all of the players is key, if notts scored early and lets say it lead to a 2-0 lead. its not exactly going to offer much relief knowing how mad playoff games can be. i mean, i would like it but boreham wood just have to score 1 and the games tipped on its head. its easy for a team to surge on to win like they did against barnet. i thought they did well with the limited chances, so its important notts just tries to reduce what clear efforts they get on goal and ensure good chances come to our players. i would love to see richard brindley return along side kyle cameron and aden baldwin.
  25. welcome @Canadian, i hope family life is treating you well. you are an old face from the earlier days of pon, its nice to see you back.
