  1. i hope we can get back to winning ways, with it being a tuesday night game i do think it will be quieter but i have felt the kops been very lively as of late. think we just need to pass the ball and retain possession, chances should come.
  2. im hoping that notts can get a third win against dover but provided the team plays well, i would be happy with a draw. i think after that stupid article about notts not adapting well to the non league was published, i think its encouraged the players to push themselves. just hope neal ardley keeps the squad settled as this seems important.
  3. it was a good performance for the turnout, notts always struggles to play flowing football but despite a few moans where i watch the game from, i did feel it was quite entertaining. both teams attacked, they had some good chances. i thought they were wasteful on goal. their manager has took to complaining about things such as a penalty which could have been given, yet his team did not time what they did create. the back to back wins are important, it builds morale and confidence, eases some of the pressure too. that is what i take from the game!
  4. fantastic win, i did not expect notts to claim a 2-1 win. think the clean sheet should have been saved but 3 points are ours!
  5. think meadow lane should see around 12-13k. will hopefully be higher than most league two clubs. i think the game itself will be tricky, the players need to keep working hard and just create. its easier said than done, yet will all the support i would not want them to become nervous or complacent. need to work hard.
  6. the small minority do my head in, always the first to complain and you cannot even get any form of rational thought out of them. they just quote stats or add the word "fact" to the end of everything. i dont mind people who voice intelligent arguments for why they are ardley out. i think most of those would be prepared to give him time, its the idiots who just seem to enjoy causing trouble.
  7. brill article @Simon Clark. makes a lot of sense!
  8. a lot of these games this season are new to me, i dont know what to expect but i think if notts plays well that a good result will come. what is with all the reactions on social media suggesting notts will lose because of sam graham being injured? a lot of negative calls was made about him, notts will be fine.
  9. i think they might be one of the better teams to visit meadow lane so far, they look a good side and can score. i dont think it will never that easy, but pace looks a plus for us as does the experience.
  10. these are quality prints! i have about five now. i am very tempted to get one of regan booty and nathan tyson. keep up the good work @Chris
  11. pin them back and it could be another chorley typed result. it depends if they make it hard for notts, if its all hoofball i cant seeing anything other than a draw.
  12. i am nervous but i think notts have looked much better at home. its that opening nerves and pushing to score which notts lacks right now. i think if we use the aerial threat that we have the score will be in favour of us.
  13. think this season will see meadow lane being where notts picks up the most points, i am hoping for a win but see it ending as a draw.
  14. @GrannyPie has tipped notts to win over on the facebook page, so that is good enough for me. i think notts will be more prepared to play yeovil, previous encounters i think they worked better as a team and had much more pace. i think we have turned the tables, think we will win 3-0. dennis, kelly-evans and booty to score.
  15. did notts deserve to win 5-1? yes i think so. the second half notts played some of the best football against a very decent team. the scoreline does not take anything away from them, if anything it should aid them towards becoming better as in the first half they looked a very strong side.
  16. if they use the nickname magpies, notts needs to win. ???? maybe ardley will have to let o brien and some of the others sit the game out.
  17. not sure what went wrong, it sounds like jim o brien really messed up by scoring the own goal but i guess thats pressure.
  18. wrexham are another good side in this league, think they will play like newport and attempt to slow down the game where possible. i hope notts start with two strikers, this is key right now. hope dennis is fired up to bag him another goal or two.
  19. massive result, pleased to see the players silence those banging on about jon stead still being good enough for us. move on! get behind the win and lets try to build from here.
  20. notts just needs to play well enough to get the fans behind them, stockport county did that and their fans lifted them. it would be annoying in my eyes for barnet to be louder than us, i will be singing regardless but i am not so sure notts will win.
  21. i am looking forward to seeing the game, it will be a real chance for me to see what the players play like together. im keen to see how the signings do, i think with the home support it will take some of the edge of the game. not sure about if notts will win but a draw seems about right.
  22. good capture, someone who could partner pierce bird well.
  23. i think the game will end in a 1-1 draw but still be a decent performance. i hope i am wrong about the score tho, notts getting off to a good start would be massive.
  24. why are fans now moaning about jon stead having been released? most on social media seemed delighted we had released him. ????‍♂️
  25. i read it as places near to seaside sorts myself, they are very close to the sea. if the games fall on the right day, coaches could go for a trip before kick off.
