Lincoln City finances

Rounding up, the losses are touching Β£3m... so even with the higher tv distribution payments EFL1 brings, it shows the financial environment that Notts may have to deal with, if promotion is achieved

I think the difference between a club like Lincoln & Notts is that Notts have owners that will ensure that the club remains on a secure financial footing.

If this means having to sell some of their best players to keep on an even keel, I am sure the Notts owners won't hesitate so long that it is at the right price.

this is what annoys me about some notts fans who complain too much that we have sold players, its keeping us in existence and ensuring we have the funds to move forward. their owner is playing a risky game, because once those debts start to catch up with him. all the blame will go onto him and the football league by their fans. its clear they are spending money and have been doing well to establish themselves in league one but refusing to sell players is not always a sign of an ambitious club.
